The Mystery of the Origins of Christianity - Solved

Some people in life are looking for that key piece of Evidence that will Exhonorate them.  We see this on Days of our Lives, with Eric Brady being de-frocked because he was unable to Prove that a certain unfortunate and embarrassing incident wasn't his fault.  But now that key piece of Evidence was discovered in the bushes by Dr Daniel Jonas, and so far he had told no one that he has it.  I would suppose he wants to be sure about how to proceed from here.  Here is another example of what I'm talking about for you Star Trek fans.  Remember when there was that "disturbance in space" in the final episode of May of 1994 when Piccard in his quest to find the origen of this disturbance, deduced that it came from - - FROM - - the Future.  But alas when he got to the point he wanted to be- - it turned out that He himself- - was actually the Cause of this "Thing" that was throwing the Universe completely out of allignment.  (kind of like the Tea Party)  Sometimes in life you don't know whether you are just extrapelating or even fabricating a Message from On High, or whatever, or whether it actually occur?  I mentioned twice in the previous post about the need to "keep looking for the answer".  It's almost as if a voice said to me yesterday "You have it in your Power to discover the Truth you are seeking at last, and very soon".   Sometimes the pieces of a puzzle just fall together.  They were there all along but you just didn't See it.  Like the police figuring out that it was the jealous whacked-out looney-tunes of a boyfriend of that housewife in last night's "Dateline" who murdered her just before her five year old son's birthday party on Saturday.  Sometimes you have to "narrow the search field" by eliminating the suspects that just don't pan out.  I'm going to come right out and say it without further delay.  The origins of Christianity as we know it- - took place about AD 97 in Turkey in a city called "Tyanna".   (I've said "Tyannus" previously)  The pieces all fit.  The original Faith was that of Pythagrean gnosticism, and if you don't know it's beliefs, I have ample material in previous postings.  All you have to do is hunt them down.  Basically pythagarean gnosticism is the worship of "The point" or "The One".   It's a belief that God by nature is so perfect, you virtually have to Become God yourself in order to partake of his goodness.  There is somewhat of a finite nature to this divine goodness and it cannot be adulterated with anything lest it be corrupted.  For in time the processes of "devolution' will destroy it.  Those of you looking for a Next Generation analogy on Star Trek need look no further than the example we've previously cited of that teenage Borg who was held captive by Jordi - - and when this teenage Borg was let loose and allowed to return to the pod - - he fostered this belief in "The One".  This concept of - - Uniqueness - was previously unknown to the Borg.  But alas in a quest to be "individual" they all followed like lemings to a cult of doom.  (Selah)  The Apostle Paul actually spoke of this "School of Tyannus" as some religious cult that he knew about.   This reference proves that the existance of this cult "didn't come till after Christianity was wide spread" as some have postulated.  I had thought that Apolonius of Tyannus died in 110 AD but if the date is AD 97 this simplifies things.  When Pliny the Younger wrote Emperor Trajan about putting "Christians" to death he maintained that they worshiped this "Christ"  (Messiah) as they would a god.  They sang hymns to him beginning before sunrise, and later in the day they would have a communal meal.   Trajan wrote back that these Christians should not be convicted on roomer or anonamus lists- - but rather by being asked three times if they were a Christian, and if they were they would be put to death.  However this was true only for non Romans.  These Christians lived in a region called "Pontus", which is on the southeastern part of the Black Sea, far from Rome, but close to the "Tyannus" area.  The Emperor then instructed that these guilty Romans should be transported out of the area, presumably where they no longer would be contaminated.  Strangely the Apostle Paul constantly spoke of "I know my destiny is to go to Rome".  Apparently Apolonius of Tyannus was schooled in Tarsus, which is Paul's home town.  And that he took a "vow of silence" for five years starting at age twenty.  Then he went to India where he learned "various magitian's tricks involving rings".   And when he died his disciples said "He didn't really die - he went to Heaven".   Strangely- - Justin Martyr had ample opportunities to make reference to the tomb and "rolling away the stone" but he never does.  Instead he says without variance, "Jesus was crucified and died and then ascended into heaven".  There is no mention in any of these references of Jesus being seen at all by anybody.  Justin writing in AD 160 speaks of "The whole area of Jerusalem being desolate of any of the devout", and claims the Bible predicted this.  He also states emphatically that "Jesus is 2nd in authority only to God the Father, the "Unbegotten God".   However- - it's easy now to trace this worship of Apolonius of Tyannus through.  Interestingly, like the Nazarites- - they didn't eat meat, and are also said to lead Spartan, acetic lives.  I didn't know till today that Apolonius was a "Pythagarean".   This is the school of gnosticism that Marcion subscribed to.  It was Marcion who was the first to link this "Christian" or "Messiah-ism" faith with Jesus.  So Marcion as it were made an attempt to "Judaize" Pythagarean gnosticism.   But Justin - - kind of like Lenin in relation to Marx, didn't think that Marcion was going nearly far enough - - and so he came up with this highly Judaized faith that was so "Jewish" Justin clearly tought Soul Sleep- - meaning that all of the dead who have ever died are Still Dead, awaiting the Last Day when they will be Bodily Resurrected.

The Republicans are just completely nuts these days losing any semblance of rationality.  On the KNX morning response they had maybe ten congressmen list all of the so called “jobs bills” they got passed and never became law- because virtually none of them was really a jobs bill that would actually stimulate any sort of economic activity.  And I suspect that whatever they were called- - they actually did something else anyhow.  I had Chris Matthews on early.  But clearly if the situation is as insane as he portrays it as with these Republicans it “Beam me up, Scotty!”   Chris Matthews called it self generating pure hate that trumps all rational thought    Apparently now FOX news is blaming Hillary Clinton for the kidnapping of nearly three hundred school girls from Nigeria, and are using this crock about “This group should have been tagged by Hillary as a terrorist group” as if you knew the future.  Besides Hillary says this specific group WAS tagged as a terrorist group two years ago.  The Republicans tell outright lies and people believe them.  But I’m a little puzzled as to why if it’s really the case that only a million and a half Americans watch FOX news out of three hundred million population.  The way people talk I thought it was closer to fifty or sixty million at least.   And now Mitt Romney is weighing on Bengazi saying in his opinion it’s perfectly proper for the Republicans to do fund raising off the Bengazi issue.  Two of the four dead people’s relatives said “We don’t want our losses to be exploited for political purposes”.   Now there is a school district in Realto which had eighth grade students compose an essay where they had to “prove” that the Holocaust wasn’t just a made up hoax.  This is a despicable thing to pull on impressionable school children.  Of course Hillary Clinton has been very involved in this Nigeria kidnapping, and should help her in her bid as the strongest feminist candidate out there.  You know every time I hear Rush or Hannity- - they are constantly bring up race and ethnicity and economic status- - and drawing distinctions.  Whereas the President seems to constantly trying to unite us as a people, the republicans constantly are looking for issues that divide us.  But it would seems most Americans don’t even watch the news, if these poll numbers are right.  They are too busy watching the ice hockey or NBA play-offs or preparing for a wedding, or Mother’s Day, or else studying for a college final.  In other words most people have Lives to lead.  These people on the right speak of hard work so much and I’m wondering how so many of them are able to find the time to listen to three hours each of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity.  If nothing else- -these Republicans lack a believability factor.  Also it’s a little silly to call mad men with guns, or workers who live on wages that keep them in poverty - - or people with college loans they can never pay back - - or people who’s pension funds have been robbed, or consumers seeking redress for a defective product- - these aren’t “Political” issues- - they are just Issues.  They are things that would concern the average American no matter where they came down on the political spectrum, if they think about that at all.   Now there is a major fast food boycott day on May 15th and apparently it’s worldwide.  That should be interesting.  I doubt it’s an issue FOX news will even deem to cover.

This morning KEIB seems to have abandoned the Purity health products entirely in favor of financial stuff more befitting this station.  Coffee was just called.  I kind of toggled between KNX but more likely I had old school 92.3 on.  I went for morning coffee break and got two cups of coffee.  But the first time I got this lavished iced cake- - which I guess was the same cake we had yesterday.  After this is was Melinda Lee- - who says that ham left over from Easter can’t be trusted to put in a crock pot of baked beans even if it’s been refrigerated, and even if it looks, smells, and tastes perfectly fine.  Personally if it smelled and tasted OK - - and I don’t know if it would - - but if it did I’d go ahead and use it.  Melinda says the best thing is to pre soak your beans to get them all evenly hydrated, and it will shorten the crock pot cooking time.   I had her on till eleven fifteen.  After a while you learn to exercise skill at dodging commercials.

This is Friday night and it just dawned on me they didn’t have the usual Friday weather question.  Vladimir Putin is on tour in Crimea today and I just say, “Where is Cliven Bundy when you need him?”  I guess the LA Clippers just fired their CEO and got a new one. Meanwhile Stephanie Miller is accusing Donald Sterling of “having an imaginary friend” because like that mystery Elvis phone call tape, there is nobody on the other end, but just a lot of aimless rambling.  Our high was 72 today and we have gotten very little warmer since Tuesday, which was the chilliest day.  But we are informed that come Mothers Day, temperatures are going to explode into the mid to high nineties.  Meanwhile downpours and tornadoes ravage the nations heartland, with new snow predicted for the Rockies.  They say the I Tunes era may be ending because digital download rates are falling and “people want to own their own music”.  No kidding!  I’m way ahead of you.   A fourth police officer has died in Los Angeles due to a traffic death.  Chief Beck is concerned that trucks along a certain road are violating weight limits, and are also known to have defective brakes.  “This problem is already being dealt with”.  Meanwhile in Riverside county including where Tim lives, they are imposing severe water restriction while they fix a broken nine foot concrete pipe.  And stop the presses!  Rick Springfield has just gotten his star on Hollywood Blvd.  The LA Kings are up three games to nothing.  Yet they are still worried.  But in general Bill and I watch way too much news, and there hasn’t really been that much.  In fact - - this past February I was cycling through blogs much more quickly and there was maybe three times as many news stories coming in to work with.
