I N F I N I T Y - A SOURCE OF NEEDLESS APPREHENSION

"Oh what joys we often forfeit
Oh what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to Commander Data in Prayer"

First of all we have a trilogy of news stories to kick off this posting. It is my hope that Bill Press, Thom Hartmann, and Randi Rhodes will read this blog to get more inspiration for their shows. I suggest strongly that you read the next two postings also because you probably haven't seen them since they were written in such close succession. This posting will most likely be the last posting for a while here, before we jump blogs. Jerry Sandusky is now out of jail out on bail loose and walking around and free to molest more children. A few days ago boy victim number one reported being in the basement of coach Sandusky's house and he knew that Mrs. Sandusky was in the house at the time and was crying out for help because he was in continued distress, and she did n't answer. Of course they had an episode of Law and Order lately on a local station involving a troubled teen that was forced to submit to molestation and his rage finally got the better of him. There is no telling the guilt and trauma these troubled teens suffer. Of course if his wife has in any way been instrumental in covering up Mr. Sandusky's crimes, she is liable and prosecutable as an accessary, and under Pennsylvania law will be compelled to testify as a witness against her husband. We've heard of women like this, who turn a blind eye to the attrocities of their husbands. That drone air craft was put on display by the Iranians today on their television for all to see, including us. Some from our government doubted that the article was genuine but they are sufficiently worried about it that even is there was extrapalation or reconstruction involved, we know there has been a major security break. There has been another shooting at Virginia Tech only now this troubled campus reported the incident more quickly and precautions for the safety of the students was taken. Apparently one guy shot a cop and then turned the gun on himself. They have said that politically that Newt and Mitt are seen as the most knowledgable and accomplished and qualified, whereas Newt and Michelle Bachman are seen as the most "genuine" in their beliefs and presentation. Hence since Newt is the one within both circles - - he is the logical candidate despite his much political baggage. Now the only thing I see that can stop him is the fact that Republicans higher up may decide that the will of the people in such politically skewed Primary states like Iowa, South Carolina, and Florida should be disregarded for the sake of the political sanity of the party and any hope of being elected.

Let's explore infinity a little more. People wonder how one could possibly have a number of Infinity. For instance if you were forever getting closer and closer to a destination and never seem to be getting there- - this is as bleak a concept as you could hope to get. The only thing that would be worse would be that if your forward trek steadily led you farther and farther from your destination. Let's take God as an object example. It is my belief that prayer has NO effect at all on anything except perhaps your psychological state of mind. Others may report that prayer helps. Others who later turn from the faith say that "Prayer made things worse". Both ideas are EQUALLY wrong in my oppinion and the result of abberent thinking. Were one doing a deviation diagram one would see infinity as the mean point- - and Infinity would be the reading you'd get if indeed prayer had NO effect upon anything. Some have wondered how you could have a figure such as "three and a half times Infinity". Simple. In circular trgonometry for example all you would need to do is start at Zero and cross the Infinity three times and then go half the distance farther and you'd be there. In optics one looking into a lens would be looking at infinity when the image disappeared completely and you just saw one color. Indeed were your eye call the focal point of the "real image" this is just what you'd see. This also would be what you would see of damn close to it were you looking back at a light source traveling away from it at the speed of light. Now we know that "the focal point of a lens is at its shortest point when it's at infinity". So points closer than infinity produce longer real image focal points. But what if you venture to a shorter focal point than you have at Infinity, what then? We covered this in physica class long ago. You now see what is called an "apparent image". The lines flip flop. Lines that were once diverging now are tipping the other way. Parenthetically looking into a mirror causes mirrored focal points for the image therein. But were you to look at a convex mirror this would not be the case. There would be a bifercation where objects inside the mirror would LOOK farther away and yet have a focal point in FRONT of the mirror. I varified this truth in an experiment in did in early December of 1970. What you view with the naked eye does not necessarily look the same when viewed with optical equipment. This idea of going beyond Infinity was a joke I tried to play on a computer program to try and get it to screw up. But the computer got the better of me. Built into the program unbeknownst to me was a provision to extrapelate back into the past to derive an answer, which in this case was "when would one car overtake another traveling the same direction?". The program involved the famous example with various trans and cars leaving at different speeds and different times going different directions. Beyond infinity the lines tip the other way and therewith the solution point to these linear equations, and they really are linear in the classic sense. Some have wondered how you can multiply Infinity. You can use infinity as a factor. But like zero you can't divide with it, using infinity as the divisor. One may wonder whether you can add with Infinity. Perhaps you could but as with adding proper fractions you have the necessity of finding a common denominator, and if you can come up with one of those, you're in business. You can of course take a known ammount of an Unknown, plus another known ammount of an Unknown, and derive a known ammount of that same Unknown. But what you can't do is to deal with an unknown ammount of an unknown. In quadratic equations as I understand them you have a known ammount of an Unknown, plus an Unknown ammount of that same unknown, plus a known number, equals a known number. Of course you know don't you that any open ended equals sign is by its very nature completable by an assumed third Variable. Wolframalpha.com relies on this idea. Now if you go out twice infinity with a magnifying lens you should see an upside down image with the same objects as the original. This is how it should be going twice the speed of light. Hence the sight of phantoms in space should not be the cause of alarm. To change the subject just a little, by now you may have guessed that I am ready to revive all that "event horizon" stuff I abandoned two years ago. It's time to retrieve all that material from the Recycle bin and get it back up on its feet. What this means of course is that space goes on and on. Scientists have suspected for some time now that objects really DO go faster than light and it isn't just some theory, but observable fact. Joe Drisco a month and a half ago reaffirmed that science has done this. As for infinity we know it can consist of one dot in art or photography, which is the geometric vanishing point. A whole stream of them constitutes the "termanator" as astronauts on the moon would say. To one extent or another Infinity is described or deliniated by how one chooses to perceive reality. Sometimes things seem one way but are actually another when seen by a different viewer. For instance if you look inside the image of a glass marble you see nothing but curved lines all around. No line is straight save for the "horizon" and "meridian" lines. However were you to view from Inside the circle everything would be well and good. As such curved lines would not only appear optically straight but one might even say Imminently - - - straight. It is my belief that the broken lines you see in the old Disneyland circerama theater that you observed from the cobbeling of images together is because all the screen is curved horizontally, it is not curved vertically and camera lenses will respond according. What you see in Circerama is not a spherical screen, after all but a cylindrical one. But upon thinking about this, there is a more obvious reason why the lines on sidewalks don't match up but tend to tail away at the side of each screen and that is because the film had to be shot with a camera with a wider angle than your viewing angle because they used a circular thing where the very center had no cameras at all and hence there was no "ideal distance"; every distance was short and hence had to be compensated for. To review then, to work tword a goal and never get closer is to hold said goal an infinite distance off. People speak of God "testing" people but nowhere do I find the term "everlasting probation" that people at me have felt they were on. I don't believe you ever see words like "infinite patience" or "infinite mercy" in the Bible because for this to occur God would be responding - not to put too find a point on it - as the Dead would respond. This is the only human counterpart that would be applicable. The dead view reality from the perspective of infinity, much as God perceives them. Like the dead, God cannot differentiate between a minute or a day or a year or a century. They are all alike to him. In both cases of God and the dead, ongoing events are viewed with Complete apathy. Some call this Godly, I call it not being Alive. But if this sort of life is what you wish- - viewing things from Infinity's viewpoint just might be your thing. (Selah)
D A T A - G A T H E R I N G

People don't know what to do with a lot of the data they are spoon fed by the right, if the right even has any data at all. First of all they don't isolate the independant variables. For instance people who smoke may well be the people who eat lots of fries, KFC and fried onion rings. Hence if the heart attack rate is higher you don't know which thing is causing it. If more blue collar workers smoke than white collar it may be the same group that breathes cold miner dust or asbestos or metal shavings or chemical toxins. So they have higher cancer rates. People in poor rural area may have lower cancer rates because they can't get to hospitals and may die from some flook accident like having a limb sheared off by farm equipment and bleeding to death. People who are rich are more likely to be married in a church and marry at a later age than poor people. Rich people have family members to bail them out at times of monetery extremity and are also helpful in getting an employment leg up. Contrary to the myth, I've heard rich people really ARE "happier" than poor people. Rich people who "fall" into sin are seen not as examples of shame, as are the poor, but as potential targets to recruit into your Church to increase your status. Rich people are better educated than poor people. If more fundamentalist Christians are from suburbia than other factors than Faith may shape what we know to be the ingrediants for a healthy family. (Selah) Well let's get generic for a bit and say that there are four "Movements" or of aspects of interest to statistical charts and we will go down them one by one and explain the relivence of then to you, the reader. First of all there is the Skew. I always used to spell it Skiew but now there is spell-check. Many people regard Skew is a synonym of bias, either psychological or political. It refers to an undue emphasis of certain data or other data to suit the psychological mindset of the one shelling out the statistics. To get strictly narrow and generic in our definition a skew refers to physical space. There is of course "psychological space" in our minds to store information. And we apportion more of our space to certain kinds of information and less significance or "space" in our minds to information we may deem irrelivent or not germain to the issue at hand. In a physical realm we portray it metaphorically to "slanting" the article or information either to the left or to the right. The idea is that even though the information contains a bias, given the proper "decoding" or weighting, the information can be restored to objectivity. The trouble is that the Tea Party dishes out information with such a minute Truth quotient that there is virtually NO truth in it. This information cannot be made safe for human consumption. As Ted Kennedy once said "They spout lie after lie after lie after lie". So were you to see it graphically it would ammount to no more than straight lines on a piece of paper, in other words- unintelligable. Bit skewing in statistics charts refers to a bias tword the left or the right of the chart where the graph is not symmetrical from the node or peak incidence point of the graph. Just to simplify this a bit, the node is usually close to the median. Where you may see skewing is on intelligence tests that do not test from a full spectrum of the population but where a certain segment, perhaps the dumb people, has been filtered out already. But more to the point, a skew takes place in such things is income of Americans. You can't be any poorer than no income yet to the right the chart can veer off into the millions and even billions. What you see in such a case is that the mean or agragate is skewed to the right, the way Republicans like it, from the median income or "average American household". This is the figure sociologists regard as the most telling because it means half the people are above it and half the people are below it. Most likely the median will be close to the node, or highest data incidence, and the mean will represent the AREA under the data line, which might be shaded, were one to divide it geometrically into equal area halves. Just so you know, all four terms are node, skew, standard deviation, and kurtosis. Let's move on to standard deviation. This is different with every data sample. It is NOT standardized, but rather a derived figure from the data at hand. It represents the center two thirds of the data by "area" under the data line. That a range is broad or narrow is not particularly significant. Certain types of data have more broadly occuring numbers than other realms of data.

The final thing is a statistic I have my own unique formula for. What it basically measures is now MUCH the data has dropped by the time it reaches the "hash marks" of the Standard Deviation zone. It's as though you squeezed it at this point. You do not lose any date but the data would go elsewhere, either to the top of the curve or off to the points. Keep this thought picture in mind as we explain further. We now move into the final and most contraversial category, which is kurtosis or "pointedness" of the chart or graph. Now I have a means of computing kurtosis which lands you so close to the "normal" point of three, to their far more complicated method, I consider mind valid because "It cannot be shown to be in error to any scientifically measurable significance". My reading varies from wolframalpha.com in that theirs can never fall below the square root of three. At this same figure my reading would be represented as a One. If you knew my method of computation you'd see why One is the only logical figure. Personally I would say that three as normal is too high. A kurtosis of two on my scale is perhaps too low. I'm pretty sure a two kurtosis on my scale can be derived simply by "quartering" the perimiter of a circle and rearranging the quarters so that they form a bell curve. My kurtosis reading is calculated simply by taking the ratio of the incidence of data at the node or top of the curve, and comparing it to the incidence of data at the SD line or edge of Standard Deviation. At the square root of three ratio- - mine would be three. The square root of two would rate mine a Two. A flat liner would rate mine a One. Conceivably it might be possible to dip below a one. A low kurtosis figure would denote an insufficient amount or not big enough sample of data. I would tollerate kurtosis in the two's because in my book that's how the data would pan out. It's generally understood that as the data sample rises, the kurtosis would rise and presumably even reach three. Perhaps my own reckoning is for sample size to not be overwhelming. This means the peak in the center would be lower and the edges would be lower and the data would assume more of a Square shape. A kurtosis too high would be one of two things as I see it. Either you are dealing with an overly filtered sample. Like the SD curve this might be a police department that routinely filtered people out if they were too tall or too short. But a more interesting explanation would be incorrect Testing procedure. If you tested for "too broad a band" of Intelligence, you would have a scenario where the population all tested the same because so many questions were aimed either at super geniouses, or else blithering idiots, with not that much definitive shading to short out the middle. Press one to hear message again.

HOW TO FILTER OUT THE CRAP YOU DON'T WANT OR NEED

The first part of this paragraph is a complicated graphic demonstration of a psychological truth. Skip over it if you must. You know it's an electronic reality as far as I can determine that FM signals won't show up on an AM tuner and AM signals won't show up on an FM tuner. To illustrate this if you go to the sound band on an analog tuner the screen will turn black. This is where the FM sound track is that AM can't see. On these pay TV stations they used to have, there IS no sound. TV tuners are such as they listen for FM sound. AM won't show up because AM carriers are not modulated to swing by frequency and FM carriers are not calibrated to register changes in amptitude. Your belief that the Sound track on Pay TV is AM because what was normally black is now seen as psychedelic waves. The picture lines are scrambled with the classic DES RHO pattern, which is a coding system I sometimes use to scramble words. If your name is Randy - - or Ron, you should be able to glean what I'm talking about. Also it is my contention that the "median" of the six M Hz band has been "shifted to the left" so that now the signal on the right side of said median how is seen in full and not surpressed by the TV. Analog TV unlike AM radio broadcasts in single sideband, which is kind of akin to dingle diode verses double diode or half wave or full wave DC wave restoration. When the two waves ever compete with each other you get whigged out shading as the two fight each other. The bottom line is in Pay TV you see a negative picture with a white line down the middle, with no sound.

WHICH BRINGS TO PSYCHOLOGICAL TRUTHS Many people are swayed by emotion and not their higher logic. Logic won't register with them but only Emotion will. For a Logical person like Spock, emotion will not register, only Logic will. Hence when a TV evangelist delivers his message, particularly is you are actually in the hall, then you are swayed by Emotion. To turn James Dobson's words back on him about "Your feelings will Lie to you" then when your head is spinning with a lot of new emotions this is a BAD TIME to make any major decisions about your life. The best thing you can do it give it a rest and let the emotions clear. The Evangelist knows if you think about things you'll never bite at the hook, so he will offer you every Lure not to postpone a decision. Now lets go to Obama's speech. Most of us on the left believe that people who work hard for a living ought to not pay more taxes than those who don't, but "wait around the pool for the dividend check to arrive". This whole thing about "rewarding hard work" and "giving people a chance to get out of the hole" seems to NOT resonate with those on the tea party right. These people on the right like to find somebody, anybody than they are better than. And if they can't fine anybody else they will say they are better than themselves, as they were before they got Saved. Starr Parker likes to brag about how she had five abortions and used to lay out on the beach waiting for the welfare check to arrive. By what stretch of logic is that supposed to make me she is a moral authority on Anything? I wouldn't doubt it if you said Tammy Bruce had become a Born Again Christian by now because she has moved so far to the right, politically. People like me see patterns in things and when something doesn't "fit", I for one don't rest till I figure out what is wrong - - - what the problem is. If more people on the right did this- - perhaps more of them would be willing to do more economic detective work. They seem to not want to even think about cause and effect. They would flunk out the first day of District Attorney school and wouldn't make it as police detective either. I myself faced a mental "cunundrum" a while back. We know if you have three dots that form a line that chances are that line goes out straight and will stay that way. Two points can mean anything but with three they form a pattern. So I was perplexed by my own, ONE, TWO, THREE rule of Sine waves. Perhaps I've mentioned it already. That is- - the Sine of 30 degrees is the half the square root of One, and the Sine of 45 degrees is half the square root of two. And I believed that the Sine of 60 was half the square root of three. But I was wrong. The TANGENT of 60 is the square root of three, and I know that now. I learned something. For a long time I resisted the idea that I needed a new computer hard drive telling people "No, it's memory and execution that is clogged up - not disk space". But then I was informed that a computer USES disk space for Swap files to swap in and out of memory and if it can't find a space on the hard drive quickly it will slow down the computer. It's these cause and effect things that people need to see. I will even concede a Small point to the Republicans where they Might be right. If we want Republicans to invest in business - - - a lower tax rate would encourage this and we could still be revenue Positive if we didn't lower it too far. We could lower the rate from 35 to 25 percent for example. But MORE important by FAR if we do this, is to raise the income and dividend tax rate much higher, like to at least 35 percent and more would be better. This would Discourage rich people from NOT investing, but instead squereling their money away in some account and pay only 15 percent on it. If we nabbed the rich on the loop holes and perk expenses they can write off - - -we would encourage a thriftier rich class, like Mr. Potter claims is a virtue, who didn't squander their money put put it into productive venues. We would raise money, and also encourage legitimate business investment, and just perhaps make us more competetive with foreign countries than we are now. Even a liberal can learn. If we are not blinded by our own biases we can make decisions that are better for ourselves and the people around us. Jesus said to take the sawdust out of your own eye before you venture to take the speck out of your brother's. But once you DO get rid of your own biases, if they are "no longer registering as relivent" then you CAN venture to help your brother and in the course both lives are improved.
RUSH LIMBAUGH CALLS PRESIDENT OBAMA'S KANSAS SPEECH A MARXIST MANIFESTO

I was flabberghasted when i saw this E mail someone sent me that I read just now. First of all Rush Limbaugh is so inarticulate he's often incapable of finishing one sentense without lapsing into a totally unrelated thought. But following Limbaugh's train of logic this how Rush painted the President's message yesterday: The president of the United States said that the United States of America, as founded, "has never worked." Stop and think of that. Ponder that for a moment. The president. Not the head of the SEIU. Not the chairman of some congressional committee. Not a Democrat presidential hopeful. The elected president of the United States said in Osawatomie, Kansas, trying to be Teddy Roosevelt, that the United States of America has never worked. That is a quote, "has never worked." No. this is NOT what the President said yesterday. He was specifically referring to "trickle down economics" and tax cuts for the wealthy. THAT has never worked. The President never said the words "America as founded has never worked". Rush made that up out of thin air. The exact quote after the President was done probing the psychology of motivation behind why many people may believe in the trickle down there. The President then said: "There is one problem with this. It doesn't work". I repeated this expression myself on my posting and even expanded on it. This is not a conclusion of political bias one way or the other. It is one of fact. You can point to the 1981 tax cut that exploded the deficet. You can point to Bush's self induced post 9 - 11 recession based on hysteria and fear. THAT was the time to talk about fear and apprehension - not now. And Bush caused it. So as a cure for his own cause he proposed things like massive giveaways to drug insurance companies and the whole Real Estate scandal to garner Latino votes in 2004, and he cut taxes mainly for the rich. It didn't work. Larry Elder and other right wing seminar callers will also talk about JFK's tax cut. The problem is that no tax cut was instituted under JFK, so if they are thinking of things like the space program, they're wrong. That was not a product of tax cuts, and neither was the interstate highway system. Eisenhaur did that, while taxes were high. After taxes were cut for the rich we got into the Viet Nam war and cranked up spending and the deficet ballooned so the jury is kind of out as to whether the tax cut of late 1964 worked as intended. Nobody, not one tea bagger, has been able to explain away the epic spurt in the US economy under Clinton or the drop in both unemployment and the deficet to zero. But the thing is, and I noted this as soon as the President was inaugurated in 2009 that Rush Limbaugh appeared to be a man in panic mode. I had never before seen the anger and frustration level of his show so high. He was like a cornered animal, as he is now. Animals go into attack mode when cornered. The same can be said for Organized Crime, as illustrated on today's "Days of our Lives" episode. You have heard the expression "cornered rat". A territorial animal when it encounters either man or another territorial animal will go into attack mode. So what has Rush Limbaugh to be afraid of. He opened his show this morning by loudly chirping that new unemployment claims had dropped sharply to a level not seen in at least nine months, and wondered why the media was "ignoring the story". They weren't ignoring the story because I had heard about it already. But then suddenly Rush dropped the topic as if either from one of those mental lapses I've talked about- - or perhaps someone whispered in his ear and says "You know George Bush is no longer President". At that point Rush Limbaugh realized he was helping the other side and quickly moved on. This news of the sharp drop in new unemployment claims is a story I would have picked up on regardless. It is just another in the long and growing list of bad news stories for the Republicans. Right now Mitt Romney, the darling of the economics crowd, is being ripped apart by the media for seemingly one fopah after another. Actually I feel sorry for Mitt. People say he won't talk about his work with the Church as an Elder and unpaid at that and how he has gained great respect from among his religious piers in the Church. How much in stark contrast is this to Newt's own religious credentials? Yet he cannot mention any of this because he's a Mormon. But now as I said this unemployment news is just the latest in a long train of stories that help the President. We have had record numbers for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We have had a spactacular jump in consumer confidence, and we have seen a major drop in unemployment. There are also definite indicators that our balance of trade with China and Korea are in for a major improvement in the next few months. How much bad news can the Republicans take. It is said that Victory has a hundred fathers but that Defeat is an orphan. I don't need to rely on my own words to gain notice with Dr. Levy; I can just let the host of economic figures now and to come do the talking for me. This is Christmas and we are into holiday cheer right now. People have grown tired of the steady drone of doom and gloom that comes from the mouths of the Republicans.

We have developed a major problem with the Autoritarian State right now. You feel it every time you step into an airport no matter how famous you are. Apparently Jesse the Body Ventura walked into an airport and they wanted to violate his fourth amendment rights. Ventura reminded the airport officials that he was a former government Navy Seal, and also an ex Governor of Minnisota and that perhaps he deserved more respect. Ventura also knew the law and took them to court. According to Hartman the Court refused to side with Ventura and came out with a ruling that stated, "We don't deal with Constitutional issues here". Since when does a Court not deal with Constitutional issues? Of course in Germany and other places you don't have to take off your shoes or go before a porno scanner. Europe banned these because of the radiation hazard. Sure you'll want to do profiling, but profiling can be both physical and psychological profiling. Physically sure you need Race as an indicator. But I would like to remind you once more that there IS no "Black" gene or "Arab" gene. Much less is there an Islamic gene. Police only use racial identifiers like they would use any other word such as age or height or weight because they need to use words that cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. Because a man happens to be of a certain race certainly is not constitute some scientific demographic about that race. Personally I wish they would physically profile more so that children and old ladies aren't sexually groped. Of course the Patriot Act is perhaps the number one indicator that we have moved to an Authoritarian society. But remember that this act was signed off on just after Anthrax attacks by mail of two key congressmen. Then you have the problems with the Police. Many police feel that they are judge, jury, and executioner all rolled into one. Their job is not to administer Punishment but merely to apprehend dangerous people and keep the public safe. They will tell you this, I'm sure, on the first day of Police Accadamy. They will also tell you at the Accadamy that the level of force you use is only one step above what the suspect is already using. Hence you use the ammount of Force that is necessary to apprehend the suspect and no more. So we come to an LA demonstrator who was locking arms with his comrads in an Occupy protest. And one guy decided to break ranks and unlock his arms, stand up, and say that he was ready to be taken in and would offer no resistence. The man was forced into physical constrained positions used to inflict pain, and recoiling from that pain the officers cry "resisting arrest" and administer yet more pain. They then do things like throw your face into the ground and grind it in. Or they will throw you into a pane of glass. And they then they put on the handcuffs at long last they were so tight that the man's hands turned blue, and now had nerve damage in his hands. And it's pointed out that white collar crooks often will not see so much as one night in jail. Black people seeing this massive involvement of younger mainly caucasion citizens in the protests are now nodding and saying to them "Now you know what we seasoned Blacks from the 'sixties have been going through all along and what many Black people in the ghetto face as a routine basis today just walking the street". We won't even talk about how Supreme Court rulings have whittled away at our civil liberties and constitutional rights upon arrest. I think some Presidential Candidate is going to have to begin addressing these vital issues. Many principles are worth fighting for and damn the political consequences.

We'll address the issue of that drone plane Iranians have found and now have an intelligence bonanza- - and the security implications, after I have studied up on it more.

Today President Obama gave a knock it out of the park speech on economics in Kansas before a very enthusiastic crowd. Randy Rhodes played it before one and is playing it after one now that I turned the soap opera off. The arrival of Doug and Julie was my cue to do that. Hopefully at some point a light bulb will go on in people’s minds as to the reality and contrast as to what conservatives verses what liberals are offering. The problem we have to contend with is that those on the right make Politics out of their Religion and a Religion out of their Politics. And they will hold to certain Beliefs with a certain religious pride and zeal with seemingly defies all logical persuasion. People like Judy who are not rich still cling to the notion (also held by poor southern White pre Civil War) that there is a THEM out there that is responsible for all their problems and threatening "their very way of life". The three most dreaded words for conservatives are “It doesn’t work”, which refers to the famed “trickle down economics”. It’s kind of a fact that if something doesn’t work, be it economic or even mechanical, it means you are not doing something Right- - no matter your personal “Belief” on the subject like people like Newt and Judy have. You know I goofed in “God’s Winepress”, the book I worte in 1980. In it I said that the European economy would never get together because there were too many diverse political and cultural differences of tradition and all. It looks like I was wrong because in both Greece and in Italy- - -the leaders of both nations were apparently fired at the insistence of the European Central Bank. According to Judy “The people of Greece are greedy” and I guess not to be afforded the right to vote on their own economic destiny. You know people have criticized “situation ethics”. They would say things like, “It doesn’t matter what “situation” the poor find themselves in because they have to play by the same rules as the rich and now try to steal their money”. According to Judy the rich are now so heavily taxed that soon they just won’t have any money left. I kid you not. That’s what people on the right believe. The truth of the matter is that being against “Situation Ethics” in any arena is downright Silly- - - because all we face in life is a “Situation” if you think about it. Others will say not to base their values or Faith on an “experience”. They say “Don’t go looking for an Experience”. Again- - all of life is an experience from the moment we are Born to the moment we die. That is unless you are a vegetable like Terry Shivo was, or those hospital patients at the beginning of the “Awakening” movie. I think what some are afraid of is not Experience but Enlightenment. I’ll tell you what Enlightenment is. It’s a light bulb going on in the brain. It’s a sudden Realization of a Truth that was finally reached by many diverse experiences, and perhaps recent ones, all leading to the same conclusion and pointing to the same Truth. For many I believe that Truth is that the Democrats are far more to be trusted with this economy than are the Republicans. Many say that- - for instance- - Christianity should not be Judged on whether “it works” or not. But here again the Truth in life is we all go through life based on things that “Work” and if it doesn’t work we chose to either fix or replace that thing. And it’s my believe that this November a lot of people will be “replacing” their political beliefs with another belief and switch from the Republican to Democratic parties.

Randy Rhodes has pointed out that corporations can’t be Persons because real people die and corporations live on forever. Corporations don’t have to go for pap smears or colonoscopies or E K G’s. Corporations are never given the Death penalty. For that matter corporations can’t be Aborted. Yes they were hatched but shouldn’t society decide for itself whether that life is worthwhile in society or else society will abort it, like they do with human fetuses? And what if a corporation merges with several other corporations. Can a corporation be accused of Polygamy? I asked Judy about this whole Citizen’s United court ruling and she convieniently knows nothing about it so can’t express an opinion. But the election of 2010 was decided because of this new influx or Corporate campaign funds and also because many on both the left and right were so shocked and stunned by recent economic developments they were overtaken by that they either didn’t vote at all or else left highly “suggestible” whereby they reasoned with their Emotions rather than their higher logic, much as an Evangelist is able to get people to stampede to the alter based on emotional manipulation. Engrams rule emotion and engrams are mental “error” or - - Sin. Hint: Don’t be ruled by error or Sin.

Certain things “are not politics; they’re just Math”. In answer to those questions on that quiz the first answer is Linear logic. Logic should never be circular, and any circular logic is deadly to a Program. Any break in circular logic would be a good thing - -especially in Religious discussions. Hence another question on the quiz is answered.

In terms of defining things- - the old umpire says “They Are what I Call them”. Many cultures even in this country have Defined the perameters of people’s lives. In this case defining things is not a Description of them but is instead setting the Perameters of all they will ever amount to in life. Hence these definers use the word “Shall” to talk about the future rather than using “Will” as a prognosticator would use. Many slurs are based on trying to “define” certain groups as being “They ARE what I Call them”. So you hear terms like shiftless niggers, and wetbacks. And perverted queers, and unwashed masses and rabble, or “environmentalist whackos”. Capish?

Some questions discuss Real numbers. Other words for this are “analog” and “irrational”. By the way the answer to another question is “the length of your dining room table” so mark that one off. But with Pascal the error that language makes is what they call Real numbers are in reality “floats”. You have single floats, double floats, and at times even triple floats. That’s why I told you to think of Ice Cream.

In two questions I am looking for the same word. In both cases I am talking about the propagation of waves of energy and the key word is “Medium”. Waves need a Medium of transmission. This is also true for the one about analog verses digital TV signals. Both methods have in common the same Medium of transmission- - Ether.

Four points will define a 3D space regardless of the number of dimentional coordinates it is drawn from. Four points from five or six dimensional space will still define a 3 D space. This is kind of a trippy concept if you think about it.

Hyperbola is the missing word in the ones about the sliced Cone. Hyperbola as a generic term means “over thrown”. Hence if Jesus uses hyperbola in the Sermon on the Mount, then at that point Jesus is sinning. This is the only logical conclusion.

AM radio can be understood if you have heard various instruments tuning up and hitting the same note and getting those beat pulsations. If they speed up the notes are father apart and when the notes come together the beats slow down and eventually stop. If you understand this concept you have grasped AM radio, which when you come down to it is a simple subtraction problem to figure out the frequency of the Intelligence.

Transferring to arc degrees in trig functions- - from number coordinate rations is like comparing rudabegas to cumquats. There is no formula you can use to do it, you just have to know it or look it up. Hence the only one of the four choices which fits this bill of invoking an actual Formula is the temperature conversion one from F to Kelvin.

The answer to the Sin question is - - Indulgence. The answer to the one about precedence of AND s and OR s - - is the Road Map Analogy - - not the Menu one.

The necessity for knowing an Independent variable from a Dependant one is in doing an Excel spreadsheet. In another question a decrease in the STEP command number IN-rreases the complexity of the drawing. A STEP increase causes a DE-crease in the complexity. As far as linear equations are concerned, other types of non-linear equations are Dot or point equations, of course - - and also Plane equations- - for those in Wolframalpha.com who think in 3 D terms. That’s what I meant by thinking “outside the box”. In the questions about demographics it’s Median - - Income. That’s the term I was looking for. If you were smart you already knew this term.

Let’s hit the two trigonometry questions. Hyperbolic trig focuses on the center of the arena like that famous “freeway interchange” diagram of all the variables of the functions they show. What is at the perimeter is not nearly so important as what is around the center focusing on the on ramps and off ramps and such. Regular trig is equally valid with any variable you choose to plug in, including ones several times the value of infinity. Regular or circular trig could also be called “optical trigonometry”. In that question about Sketch lines- - the answer is Sketch, unlike photography with their round lenses, is designed by be projected on a flat screen. Flat screen is the answer. Any straight line will always show up as straight if projected on a flat screen. Capish?

In terms of the last two questions the answer is you drive more intelligence from AM than from FM in terms of out of phase signals. For the tuner dial scale one the answer is numeric. Many dials do use a logarithmic or partially logarithmic dial but if they want to be accurate as far as band width, this remains numerically constant.

T H E – V I S C O S I T Y – O F – E T H E R

Captain Piccard once talked about a “Drag coefficient” in wind resistence. I’m not sure how much of that they have in outer space. Here is another stumper question. Which has a higher drag factor, a guy riding a bicycle or a racecar driver in a car? Some would say that the racecar would be more aerodynamically designed. However common experience tells you something else. It’s a fact that for any medium, as you accelerate the drag Factor goes up. Factor is the more conceise term rather than other terms such as Function. “Factor” always refers to multiplication and division in Algebra. Armed with this knowledge the example of objects falling from space makes more sense. We know that gravity operates at a rate of constant acceleration. Hence given a vacuum an object would continue to accelerate tword a gravity body as long as it was allowed to free-fall, that is, before it struck the object. But scientists tell us that a falling body will approach a certain speed and remain there, no matter how much further is has to fall. Hence it could be said that you are experiencing a 100% drag acceleration factor, meaning that one hundred percent of the additional gravity acceleration is taken up in atmospheric resistence. In my model of the past few years following the Lovitz – Moorley experiment done around 1900 - - - the notion of “ether wind” is raised. In my model this ether wind would in time come to be so great it would present a 100% drag factor at which point something would have to “give”. Somehow the FORCE of the ether would have to be “broken”. In this case – breaking the “light barrier” and once escaped from the Ether you would thence be in hyper-space. But I also raised the problem of material objects existing in a realm with no “space”. For any number of logical reasons, we know this can’t happen - - without some seemingly supernatural “transformation” of said traveling object. I cannot imagine how this would be done. Now I find it necessary to throw out my own theory based on the wind and viscosity problem, or utter lack thereof. What we need the ether FOR is not viscosity but Conductivity. We know that conductivity can pertain to a whole host of things. It can refer to sound, or light, or electricity, or heat, or just physical energy in general. How can one domino tipping over cause a whole long row of dominoes to tip over? It could be said that the dominoes are “conducted”. The force of the one domino is “conducted” to the rest. Electrolites in an appropriate liquid can even “conduct” molecules of a different metal on another for electro plating. So unlike my motorboat analogy- - there is neither viscosity nor a “wind”. What people forget about Einstein is that his “moving zero” example is Absolute, after a sort. That is each location in Space has an Equal standing in calling itself “zero”. To put this another way so that even Judy and Mitt Romney can understand it - - a budget that is 100% deficit would be at zero and a budget with a five percent deficit would be seen at say – 95% covered by tax revenues- - OK. But then President Obama comes along and says that “all deficits will be defined as equal. But don’t worry- for the states and nations deep in hock we are going to issue special BIG money to help them pay their bills, and we who are wealthy - - the 95 percenters, will use the little bills. The question is that for this model to work SOMEONE has to be using the big bills and SOMEONE has to be using the little bills, and one can point to another and say “your bills are bigger than mine but smaller than his”. With Einstein he states it is Impossible to do this. As such- - it would be Impossible to say that there IS an absolute speed limit of light. Capish? It’s like Dylan said in a song lyric, “Some of the people can be right all of the time and all of the people can be right some of the time, but All of the people can’t be right All the time”. (Selah) As such - - I say that Ether lacks the sort of measurable Viscosity found in almost any other substance. Hence there is never at any point where one’s absolute speed can be in any way measured by the Ether. Light speed seems to be influenced by both the Sending AND the Receiving object’s speeds in way we don’t yet understand. But how to do objects each mutually conspire to shrink Equally with reference to each other and realign themselves to shrunken measurements for one purpose and one purpose only and that is so light calibration speed can remain constant? Someone, tell me.

DEATH - IS - THE - END - (A Meditation)

Loretta and I in our lunch conversation were definitely unable to reconcile one point. You see I was raised a Protestent. The thing is that Catholics and Mormons have one belief and Protestents have another- - on the subject of Death. People say they don’t believe in soul sleep when in reality they really do and they don’t know it. Now when I say soul sleep I mean the person is physically Dead. Just about as Dead as he will ever be. He is not conscious or aware of anything and can no longer make any intelligent decisions as to his own life for either good or bad. The Lord allots us so much time in this world and when our number is up, that’s it. Our life is through. Some may point to the rather allegorical scripture in revelation about Saints being given white robes and palm branches and told to “rest a while”. But in reality I believe this is just poetic license and being artful about the whole subject. Once in this state - - there is no record of these people Doing anything. Now enter the Catholics and Mormons. Catholics believe in praying for the Dead. If you were to pray for the Departed at a protestant funeral you might be well Corrected by one of the fellow Mourners. Funerals have absolutely nothing to do with “guiding the departed’s soul through the perils of the afterlife. This isn’t an Egyptian prayer in the Ten Commandments movie. The funerals are for the solace and mental and spiritual health of those who live on. When Jesus talked to that guy who wanted to build bigger barns for his wealth- - Jesus called him a fool, for that night his soul, or life, would be required of him. What would he be able to do then? Nothing. The moral of this little tale is that there is no baptism for the Dead. It is not a part of my “internalized values”. What we ARE offered as Christians is a hope of a resurrection in the “Last Day” at the end of the Age. It takes not the slightest bit of imagination to figure out this could be milenia away and just perhaps Billions of years away when Peter says the Universe will deflate like a balloon with a shrill noise. There is no St. Peter waiting at the pearly gates you get to pass through if your name is on the list. All of the dead who have ever died since the dawn of history on this planet are in fact, just as dead as the day they died. This is the Bible. This is what it teaches. If you don't like it, get another religion not based on the Bible.

EXOTETICALLY SPEAKING

If Neil Savedra is going to invent new words out of thin air at least be logical about it. For instance here is a science question. When you see dry ice evaporating into steam are you witnessing a physical Isothermic reaction? A lot of dopes would be tempted to say that yes you are. The answer is NO. You are observing an endothermic reaction where energy is being pulled of the surrounding space and pulled INTO the molecule so that it now has the energy to evaporate. Neil used the term of Isogesis today. I’ll give you examples of Isogesis. There is a No Smoking sign in the room and someone comes in the room and you say to him and point “The sign says no smoking”. You technically have not expressed your own opinion one way or the other. You’re just repeating what the sign says. The sign might refer to smoking beef jerky or perhaps over-heating electric circuits for all you know. But if you engage in EXO-gesis, then you are pulling out of the sign the intent of the actual person who put the sign up, and thence you might conclude that the sign is referring to smoking cigarettes in that room. Another instance of Isogesis is the Mitt Romney add playing the clip of President Obama uttering the words “If we continue to talk about the economy, we’re going to lose”. Another instance of Isogesis would be quoting the passage in scripture that says “We know that God does not listen to sinners”. There is a real question whether this id “Doctrine” or whether it’s just quoting a Priest. You can argue it either way. One example of what you might call Endo-gesis is saying that God forbids smoking, or that God forbids gambling of any kind, even that of the most benign nature like a church raffle. Neil has stated that it is perfectly all right to enhance and exaggerate scripture if it serves the purpose of “making you more spiritual”. But I wonder whether Jesus of Nazareth was practicing the “big boundaries” Neil speaks of when he let Mary Magdolane rub him down with all that scented perfume. My Bible never uses the phrases like “alcohol in any quantity is a sin” or “tobacco use is a sin”. What I have said before and I told Loretta is that any substance taken into the body that harms your Spirit or spiritual relation with God should not be done, such as dropping LSD. In my book many practice endo-gesis is that they insert their own ideas into scripture passages. So what would be exogesis. On the matter of race Neil is right of course. Anthropologists tell us there is no such thing as a racial gene. There are only aggregate combinations of people with more or less of certain genes than other groups. As one person pointed out “We are all of one blood” and it’s same color; it’s red, and that is the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ. I remarked to Loretta that I see no reference to Jesus ever forgiving a murderer in the Bible. I pointed to the example of Barrabus. Loretta says “That’s because he never asked”. But what can we exegetically draw out of scripture? There IS such a sin as a Mortal sin. But the Bible never explicitly states “X is the mortal sin we are referring to”. As far as I know no murderer was ever offered salvation by Jesus. So how can we know? Well we know that we are born entitled to one life to live. As long as we have that life we have a chance of redeeming it. But we can’t redeem a life that no longer belongs to us. If you take the life of another- - you have stolen his life and by all accounts you owe him your life. It’s like a business with no equity trying to get a bank loan. He can’t do it. I know of no instance in the lengthly Book of Acts where any known murderer joined the church. Taking pleasure in the death of another is not pulling the trigger yourself. (Selah)

VALUES - YES - - RATIONALIZATION & EXCUSES - NO

First I'd like to just mention the 8.6% unemployment rate yesterday, which is the lowest figure we have had since March of 2009, just after the President took office. A few more big improvements like this and the political right will be all but wiped out. I'd like to ask Dr. Levy and others - - as a psycho-therapist might "Well you have pinned a lot of your hopes on just one thing, but suppose it doesn't come to pass. What will you do then? Suppose the European economic crisis gets solved. What if this whole re-employment thing really gets going and takes on its own momentum? What have you got left to fall back on?" Basically the right has been praying for the failure of the nation's economy. Personally, as an American, I would rather be wrong in siding with American interests, then taking an opposition stand against America- - and being wrong that way. I would rather be a little too optimistic and be wrong- - - than be a major a pessimist and turn out to be wrong. They say Herman Cain might be withdrawing from the race soon because his numbers are dropping. Like Randy Rhodes I want to see Herman Cain stay in the race for as long as he can- - because he is such a divisive and destructive comodity, the same way were I Lucifer I'd pray that the Jesus Christ show never goes off the air. One time during a game of Risk I was being beseiged- - attacked by a powerful opponet who outnumbered me. But I kept rolling the dice and kept winning. And Bobby Hayden was cheering me on "Go, Marcus, you're breaking him down - - you're breaking him down". Well, I eventually got wiped out - - but not before doing an awful lot of damage to an Opponet would now be less of a threat to the other surviving players on the board. You do a disservace to yourself if you take on too weak an opponet even if you win. Were I to pitch a no hitter in a baseball game it would be no accomplishment if my team were losing 20 to nothing as I walked in every single run. I would be by my bad pitching be doing a disservice to every hitter on that other team, who now were denied a chance to raise their batting average. I think that if Romney or Gingrich or whoever are really strong candidates- - they should look for competetion to prove it. I would have said the same thing of Obama in 2008 when Hillary was beating him in every debate. If Obama were really made of the stuff he said he was he wouldn't have minded taking on Hillary directly at the democratic Convention. So this paragraph is really about two things. One is the negative side of causing Division and the other is the positive take of how Competetion builds character.

"Doubt is not the opposite of Faith - - Certainty is"

It was Lisa Simpson who said that the problem of Creationism taught in science class is that it is not Science. In science you develop a Thesis or Theory and then you "try" or Test the theory to see if it will stand up. In the Bible "proving" something was to test it. So were I living in Biblical times I might be charged with "trying to Prove God". It may well be that as Doubt increases, so does Certainty. Certainty that you're going down the wrong path. Sure you can mention Creatiomism in science class- - and then point out that Kirkagard and others said that there is A priori knowledge or knowledge based on an a prior assumption - - and provable experiancial knowledge of the investigation of things in the material world. This is the only world or "dimension" on that list of four that is clearly within our grasp to examine and learn from. Certainly Michelle Bachman is right in saying that it's called the "Theory of Evolution". But it is a theory whose certainty grows every day. If there is another Theory out there that can be tested and proved one way or the other- we can do that. Just to throw Neil Savedra's words back on him- - God is not worth anything to man unless he can be Proved or Disproved. In other words is there is a Choice of things either going One way or the Other. So God being proved is no more valid nor less valid than the proposition or option that God is a myth and the people who invented him are assholes, as well as liars and hypocrites. Does Neil really want that as one of the logical choices? If he's true to his word he does. And I think I just answered my own question.

I was just watching this video of Judy of some Thanksgiving “values” seminar by the Republican candidates lecturing us all on proper morality. I agree heartily with Rick Perry’s statement about “What we need preached in churches today are proper Values and the people are smart enough and the politics will take care of itself”. This was perhaps the preminent theme of my Prophecy book of rediscovering American values when it wasn’t considered sheik for Calvary Chapel Christians to talk about in 1980, 31 years ago. Because even at that time a majority of them were still hung up on this idea that Christianity was a “feeling” and to somehow sully it with such a crass idea as politics was somehow “beneath us”. I disagreed strenuously back then. Certain pastors which will go unnamed were so ademament in their spirituality that they would not allow the peddling of goods by church members on the property and the pastor would not sponsor or endorse any project that he personally wasn’t in entire control of.. In reality the Pastor was such an egomaniac that if it wasn’t first, last, and only the church of “ME” he couldn’t get behind anything that might somehow, some way, take the camera focus off of HIM, even if by any other reasoning it was wholesome and healthy for Christians to get involved in. Having said that we have so far swung the other way on the pendulum that as Rush might say “It’s ALL about Money”, just as he said of Colin Powel’s enrdorsement of the 2008 race is “It’s ALL about Race”. Today the “Values” that Christians espouse are strictly the values promogated by the Koch brothers as “talking points” at the tea parties. Personally I feel a little morally offended by being lectured on wholesome living by- - -well, a two time adulterer, and a multiple sexual harasser, and a governor who’s favorite hunting cite is called “Nigger head”. It’s funny how they twist everything. For instance they say “education without Values is dangerous” and if the founders of the Ohio Territory had known this perhaps they wouldn’t have been so quick to sponsor education. They said things like “Well we have polarization in this country” and go on to say “We are divided into people of Faith and people of non faith. And among the people of Faith there are the ones of weak faith and ones of strong faith. And we of strong Faith have been too weak and passive in not fighting hard enough for our particular point of view in the Political arena”. So we are to infer that the Republicans have not been hard line enough in their battles with the President. I take strong exception to the saying that Christians are “Happy” and the rest of us are bitter and miserable and all those negative things. I defy you to contrast a typical Rush Limbaugh program with any program of either Stephanie Miller, Randy Rhodes or Thom Hartman, and tell me who without question is the most bitter and miserable of the four of them. I personally have problems. But clearly Christianity was making me “unhappy” and if we are objective it’s Christian interactions that played in a part in my turning to Alcohol. I’m not here to play the blame game, I’m just saying this is what an Objective researcher would conclude. I became happier when I decided as a recovered alcoholic to give up certain “patterns” in my life and among these was listening to certain Christian pastors on the radio every morning such as Chuck Swendoll and John Mc Arthur. I discovered that Christian was another addition I didn’t really need and I was happier without it. I also bill bring up the Dr. Phil adage of “You don’t miss the Thing, you miss what you miss it WERE”. And now we come to Ron Paul’s remarks, which were probably regarded as borderline “Dangerous” by the rest of the group. He said in this country we have freedom of Choice to either be Christian or Atheist, and likewise we have a choice of our political affiliation. We don’t make self determination a crime but a virtue. It was interesting to hear these others say that what Jefferson meant by a “Pursuit of Happiness” was pursuit of the Higher Spiritual Values that the tea party teaches. Happiness is another of those over-used and often distorted and abused words along with Love and Forgiveness which Christians like to toss around. Dennis Prager for instance teaches us that “Happiness is a duty”. You’ve got the wrong word. That’s like saying “Almond Joy is a duty”. No it isn’t. It’s a good tasting candy bar. What he really means, and Dr. Levy echoes this is that “poor people shouldn’t bother the consciousness of the rest of us by complaining”. By the way while we’re on that- - poor people have Values. You see poor people sharing their meager goods with others even worse off then themselves all the time. How can people like Newt call rich people “Happy” when they have billions in their account and yet are “worried” what might happened if they invested Some of that in people, like expanding their business to create goods and jobs for Americans. How can they be “Happy” when they grumble about only makint 15% percent on their millions per year when they feel they are entitled to 25%. How can they be “Happy” when I was attacked for getting a meager SSI raise, which will all go to higher rent so my landlords can recoup Their losses? They will go so far as to STOP a third party from helping someone out if they feel they “deserve to suffer”. Or something. You know, while we are on the subject of “Subversives” I won’t go to the French Revolution but to another subversive, Jesus Christ, who said “Ye shall know them by their fruits”. Do you remember the first thing Jesus said to Judas in the “Jesus of Nazareth” movie on NBC? He said for all to hear, “You shall judge a tree by its fruits”. So what “Fruits” have this right wing group produced over the past thirty years of Reagonomics. They talk about Values and I agree. I think Values should be taught. So why are we denigrating certain segments of American history such as the labor union movement, the crusade to help the mentally ill in the 1800’s, something that used to be mentioned, or the civil right’s movement, or the early women’s sufferagettes ion the late 1800’s? For that matter Black People by in large doesn’t even know who the original “Uncle Tom” was.

Part of the problem if that a person with economic charts and facts and figures has to go up against someone like Dr. Levy “who has a feeling”. How do you have a substantive debate with a Feeling? Even on the whole Jewish question as to why Dr. Levy is not a Christian- - he basically “buys’ the whole Christian narrative- - about Judaism verses Christianity in the first century. He will except everything Churchmen say there. But he won’t convert because he says “I just don’t think God could ever represent himself as a human being”. That’s his whole argument. So now in the sphere of economics his whole argument is “I’m against government Death Pannels”. Or “Obama is a socialist” or “Obama is the most radical president we’ve ever had” or something like “Obama’s policies have made things worse economically”. Or he will even say “Obana didn’t do enough to bring jobs back”. And you tell him “Obama has a lot of jobs bills pending now”. And he comes back with “Well Obama wants to spend money and that’s the problem”. We hear Olympia Snow talking about the whole balanced budget amendment bill now - - Again- - before the Senate after they rejected it once handily. You hear the same clap trap and one liners. You hear things like “Government job programs take away jobs from the private sector” and also “Federal deficits costs jobs”. Gingrich says “My tax policies are right because under my leadership during the Clinton years we cut the unemployment rate to 4.5%. “So you did that HOW?” Tax policy? You sure the hell didn’t! These people tell so many lies it’s second nature to them. They don’t know the difference. The kind of lying they do is not technically a violation of the Ten Commandments, but it still isn’t good. Let’s go down my seven virtues and check out Gingrich and others. What they advocate is not really Faithful to any principle. They make it up as they go along. It is not Compassionate. It is not Honist accounting. It not Brave. It’s Cowardly. It is not Just. It is not Prudent. That’s for sure. It shows a lack of Perseverance- - or pressing forward with real steps that have been proven to work. Because you know once they come into power they’ll decide it wasn’t a good idea anyhow. Obama wants to persevere with a policy to help economic growth that has been working and these republicans fight it. If they want to enact a balanced budget amendment let them do so next year on their own time.

I would like to talk about this whole thing of Swearing by a Higher Power. Many say they will not take Oaths to tell the Truth because Jesus Christ taught them not to. Jesus Christ also told one business parable to that prized whoring yourself out the highest bidder and that betrayal was OK if you did it for monetary profit. So Jesus Christ is not infalable on moral issues. God told us to make good on our Oaths. He did not say not to make Oaths and the OT is replete with Oaths taken that were made good. Judah when he visited a prostitute gave her “collateral” for a promise of a delivery of sheep later on. When you put up collateral for a loan you are in essence making an Oath and putting up your goods to swear by. One can only swear by either Himself or that lesser than himself. He cannot swear by a Power greater than himself, which he has no control over. This is a violation of the third commandment about taking the Lord’s name in vain. If you are swearing by God you better make Damn sure you have his Authorization to do so because if he lets you down, you just made a liar out of yourself and are now guilty of having of taken a higher power’s name in vain. “Name dropping” is not something that winners in life do, but losers do. Jesus said that if you swear by the gold in the temple you are OK but swearing by the Temple itself was wrong. Actually Jesus said it was better TO swear by the temple and NOT the gold in it for the Temple was greater than the gold. Jesus is wrong. You swear by something material that you have control over. Men get Gold. Hence there is MORE logical control over that than swearing by- - the omnipotent power of an unseen God. When you swear on the Bible in court you swear by your own karmic standing at the Judgement Seat at the last day. You are in essence swearing by your own works and not by God’s authority. Jesus elsewhere contradicts himself by saying that to swear anything at all is to help the Devil. I guess the code translation of this passage of this is “Everybody knows we Christians are all liars. The last thing we need is to be undone by some Oath”. To say as Bea Arthur did so often on her show “God will get you for that” to me is to take the Lord’s name in vain if in fact God does NOT get the other person for that. God has at his power and discression either to give the oath taker a break, or to screw him over as violator of the Third Commandment. If I were God, I wouldn’t mind screwing a lot of people over. (Selah) Personally I wouldn’t go around telling people they were going to Hell- - and certainly exalt my own virtue saying “I’ve found the secret to God, too bad you haven’t”.

THE CLEAR AND ON-GOING NATIONAL POLICE STATE

Just now I was looking at George Washington’s blog and it’s talking about the “continuity of government” that we all suspect has been a reality for some time. This means that it doesn’t matter who is president at any one time but the same militaristic police state exists regardless. They say they have not suspended the “emergency powers” enacted just after 9 – 11 – 01. This isn’t any real surprise in light of yesterday’s passage of that senate rider to an arms bill where you can be picked up and held indefinitely for any reason. I was beginning to think it was all a roomer but I had Bill Press on before six this morning and he was talking about it, and Randy Rhodes mentioned it again on her show today. One Black guy called yesterday to muse how it’s strange that local governments that are so strapped for money for vital human services, seem to have all the money in the world when it comes to para-military law enforcement. It’s like the defense industry in the ‘nineties decided to hedge their bets and sell their surplus products to civil law enforcement. They had the inventor of this military grade pepper spray. It isn’t just a “food product” any more than heroin is just a flower. He said that the cops are misusing his product and don’t employ the proper “decontamination procedures” after administering it. I guess it’s widely known that the US imprisons more of its population per capita than any other nation of the world. This is due to the privitazations and merchandizing of the “prison industry”. None of this is really news. But it’s interesting that President Obama has failed to weigh in on this whole “occupy” movement around the country. It creates just a little “doubt” in my mind, you know. Last night they cleared out Philadelphia and Los Angeles with initially minor reports of incidents and “no injuries to either protestor or cop”. But now we are hearing of some unpleasentries in Los Angeles with the police. Someone has suggested that they should send in social workers with medical care rather than police in riot gear to these events. Of course the “occupy” movements made the decision not to turn away those with physical or mental health issues, but rather to follow Jesus’ example and minister to the poor.

The Dow Jones Industrials rose 489 points today and all of the major NYSE indexes are up over four percent in just one day. Those five central banks got together to “stabilize” the economic melt down in Europe by being more liberal with loan terms. I don’t think worrying needlessly about the huge volume of this debt is fruitful. It won’t go away whether you worry about it or not. I am looking forward to the time when all of this “austerity” economics is a thing of the past. They said private debt in this country has Dropped fifty percent on GNP since 2007. This means that we are now free of fifty percent of GNP debt- - as an amount, and also this is a smaller percentage of a smaller GNP figure since the GNP has dropped, actually making the drop bigger. There are indications that China will not be able to undercut us as easily in the future because as I may have said, they somehow put through a minimum wage hike in China industry. As such I would expect the trade balance to improve. Oil and gold remain high and I find the persistent high figures in both perplexing. Market conditions dictate that commodities should be dropping. However the Republicans want to make sure that unemployment coverage is not extended and the payroll tax cut is not extended. I mean in their minds they haven’t lost the battle yet, the economy could still falter.

On ABC network news they announced that more companies hired more people this past month - - - well at the fastest pace in a year. The stock market made “the average investor” four thousand dollars today. This means if I had taken every penny I had when I moved in here and invested it in the market I’d have about $85.00 just today. That isn’t bad for a day’s work. China today just lowered their interest rates meaning that people in China will more easily be able to afford US products. John Hinkley has been getting these “leaves” from whatever asylum he is in, and spending time with his mother or whatever in Virginia, and his attorneys have been pressing for even longer leaves, like 24 days at a time. However US agents followed him when he asked for money to go to the movies. Instead he went to the public library and voraciously read as many books as he could get on President Reagan and also looked up assasenation techniques on the internet. He recently made an entry in his journal to the effect that “Nobody knows the real John Hinkley”. Speaking of insane- - a monsterous crime has been uncovered by ABC news concerning the drugging of children in the foster care system. These children are thirteen times as drugged as regular kids, which is bad enough. But the caretakers claim that the children will be taken away from them if they don’t medicate their children and keep giving them more and more. It just takes your breath away to see these kids showing baggies full of pills, and counting out medication after medication, seven, eight, nine, whatever, of different pills they have been given. These are wild things like psycho-tropic drugs sometimes given to toddlers. There are anti depressants such as Abilify. Often these kids have really bad reactions should they have “come down” from these drugs. Often they are given five different kinds of pills at once, which would be dangerous even for an adult. I hope this story doesn’t get buried because it’s too important. Scientists have absolutely no idea what these strong psycho-tropic medications do to developing young brains. Fortunately many of the children have gotten off these drugs and managed to their lives together, sometimes getting adopted.

Many hear generalities about the Christian right and would like a specific name that I might describe as a "typical one of then". I'll give you a name: John MacArthur. John MacArthur has screwy theology. He is a “hyper-Calvinist” meaning that he doesn’t believe in the universality of Christ’s calling but believes certain people are doomed never even to have the gospel available to them. But he has referred to Catholicism as Satanic and he has repuliated the theologies of Joel Olsteen, Billy Graham, Robert Schuller, and even Rick Warren here in Orange County. He says he is against “seeker friendly churches”. Of course those that talk about “grace” the most believe the least in it. He doesn’t believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and in general calls himself a dispensationalist. He says he rejects any teaching which claims that “The Law” is not for the Christian Church. This is in response to some extreme “new covenant” Baptists out there and hyper-Paulinists who believe that the promises of the OT are no longer Israel’s to claim but that every last one of them is to be claimed by the Church. The article said nothing about his married and family life. He said he has been pastor right where he is since February 9th 1969. He is against psychology calling it useless and unnecessary for the cure of any psychological or personal problem. Yet he is one of the foremost Christian writers and teachers of all time. Keep that in mind.

I went down to Dr. Levy’s class and it was not yet twenty to five when I got in there and took about the only empty chair. A few others came in and other chairs for them were found. We had a very lengthly check in starting with Bruce. Dr. Levy did finish his race but didn’t tell us his time or anything else about it. We are having our annual Christmas dinner with his class and last menu was so popular we are doing it again this year with lasagna, pizza, and ham, with various pies for desert. Dr. Levy has for this year promised to bring in “virgin” cocktails such as pina collates, and banana daquaris and also eggnog. Along about 5:30 I said a lot of us need to take our medication. I went up and found Donnie on the east wing upstairs and had mine. Then I went for a cigarette break and talked with others on the patio. Bill returned to this room without saying where he had been. When I got back down to the class they were talking about politics and Dr. Levy and I instantly clashed when he said that he likes Romney and that Gingrich isn’t that bad because “all of the negative news about him is out there in the media already”. The same thing could be said for Judas Iscariot and Benedict Arnold, but I wouldn’t hire them, either. I tried to remind Dr. Levy of a few economic and pragmatic realities. But soon after the topic was changed to other things. Headed back here Federico finally nabbed me for a haircut, and was opening up the room, which was filled with computer equipment. A conversation ensued with Rose about having our Christmas party upstairs, which made no sense to either me or Rose. Rose mentioned that this building was constructed under dubious conditions and there is evidence of structural weakness for 300 people to be up here, and I said I was inclined to agree, and Federico just said, “I don’t know; I just work here”. I got “the usual” and signed my name, and thankfully won’t be billed till next month, which is tomorrow. I was happy with the haircut. When I got back here I brewed coffee and gave Bill some.

For our final Opus Magnum paragraph I would like to discuss this practice both in fiction and worse in non fiction, of fabricating the “Past” out of thin air, creating an “alternate reality” to known history that we all lived through. You see it in statements to the effect that I can’t balance a check book, or I have a money spending problem, or that I have “always had an addictive personality”. These things are completely false. But you see it in American history saying “America was established as a Christian nation”. The facts on this are clear. It says in the Constitution body plainly that “No religious test shall ever be required of any federal office holder”, probably written by James Madison himself. The very idea of being born with “Inalienable Rights” is an utterly alien one in Christianity, as people like Gene Scott will be glad to inform you of. They say that the founders were devout Christians. George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin were non Christian deists. George Washington utterly refused to discuss religion at all with anybody. It was also Washington who said “It is my hope that the United States will always be in the forefront of liberality”. But of course if you look for the Historical Jesus you soon come to the realization that nobody ever heard of Jesus of Nazareth in the first century, despite an impressive number of philosophers and historians during the period. But Christians are asked to swallow a whole narrative where a whole Christian Church structure founded by a guy named Paul was established, and the Jews were the evil Lex Luther entity who was obsessed with destroying it at every turn. Certainly you see this “alternative reality” played out in the campaign and as I pointed out to Dr. Levy just now, American has not seen such low tax rates as these since the ‘twenties, like in the time of Calvin Coolege. But in fiction it’s easy to lose all rationality as a writer, I guess, if the demand for “product” is too great. For instance on Days of our Lives a woman’s eggs get lost after she developed a furtility problem with her husband. And yet her forty year old “son” would have been Born- - before Maggie and Mickey ever met and either one suspected they even had a furtility problem. Now they are bringing back Susan Banks to the show, who departed in early 1998. It seems the “baby” that she had in 1997 is now a 35 year old man and is the son of Stephano Di Mira who “took the baby away from her”, which is a scene they must have played off camera because I never saw it happen. Politicians like to reconstruct their own pasts saying that they were “always” hard core conservatives, when their actual histories revel they were anything but. We are regailed by constant Hollywood movies about those “savage” Indian tribes who were always attacking peaceful White people. We somehow want to airbrush all the slaves and auction blocks and the bull whips from American history photos. I imagine were you to talk to Larry Elder he’d say that there was never a time when Blacks were actually denied rights. One old documentary I saw had pointed out that some history book had the words “But as for Sambo, it is believed that he suffered less than any other racial group from the economic troubles of the pre civil war South. Now today you hear that before the Civil War that Black families had a lot more cohesion and unity. But clearly children could be taken away from parents by their masters at will. The entire saga of Labor Unions and their epic struggle to establish themselves has been all but air brushed from the history books. Of course now they want to eliminate smoking scenes from old movies as not “politically correct”. I guess they have even run studies that students today don’t even know what World War II was about. And of course you have statements like how President Obama, being born in Kenya, was naturally influenced by his father to dislike British Colonialism, which of course is an un-American trait to have- - i.e. to dislike British Colonialism. According to Dr. Levy the reason why oil prices are so high is because President Obama closed down all of the oil wells in the Gulf after the BP spill. They say that he who controls how History is presented to posterity, in truth controls the culture. We know what they do in other countries and yet in imitating their behavior we give them “flattery” I would prefer we not give them. We don’t need to do what they do in China regardless of what Michelle Bachman thinks. The very idea of America being a place of higher standards in every area among the world’s nations- - is a concept fast being lost. So we are told that greed and political corruption and control by lobbyist rule, is all we can look forward to now. And also that somehow to threaten lobbyists is somehow “contrary to the sacred conservative principles on which this nation was founded”. Those on the right don’t know what is sacred and what is profane, and don’t care they don’t know.

THE FORTY DAYS OF AWE

Tomorrow August 29th is the new moon and signals the entering into the Hebrew month of Elul. This month goes on for thirty days, and then it's Hosh Hashana or the Jewish New Year. People think that the Jews only blow the ram's horn or shofar for those ten days in the seventh month. But actually the shoffar, as far as I've learned, is blown throughout the whole forty day period from the new moon of tomorrow, through to Yom Kippur. This period represents the period that Moses was on Mt Sanai - on his second trip, to bring the ten commandments - again. And since these would remain unbroken they represent Christ's keeping the full law. This forty day period is a preparation for the Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur. But as you know we have predicted some sort of supernatural "rapture" on the evening of September 28th - - just next month. So we are kind of claiming you should prepare for this by whatever means you deem expediant. We spoke of it suddenly "not being this Universe as we know it" a couple of postings back, and since I have been "cleaning up the text" and amplifying on it- - I recommend you go back and read it. However there is no physical danger of THAT happening any time soon, at least by normal physical processes. But perhaps the Almighty has other tricks up his sleeve.

August 24th is St. Barthalamew's Day. It also happens to be the second time the Beatles dropped acid, and this time at least they knew they were taking it. John, George and Ringo chose to set sail on an LSD trip this evening. Paul chose not to partake. But this holiday was a holiday in the Federation before the Beatles became "Enlightened" in August of 1965. As you may know from history on this date in 1572 was the St. Barthalamew's Day Massacre in France. It's kind of the Federation's version of Bastille Day. (and some people celebrate then, too) This was a "popular uprising" of the French people, who were Catholics, against the Calvinist Huganaut influence in their country. Some say there was trouble when John Calvin in a publication decided in a publication to advocate the violent overthrow of a King if that King were "in violation of God's word". Sound fermiliar? Well the French people loved their King but despized the Huganauts, so that there was a "popular uprising". It was perhaps the most effective "political cleansing" since Joan of Ark. (who is also a revered figure) It's kind of an ironic twist of fact that a similar "stepping up of the violence" did not work nearly so well on August 24th 1970 when four radicals blew up a building on the campus of the University of Wisconsin. They said it was important that the explosion didn't kill anybody but one person was killed and others were injured. Because of this "failure to take the high ground" left wing protest activity languished on the University of Wisconsin that fall. It's interesting to note how the left and the right deal with undesirable behavior. Ted Bundy is practically a patron saint among the James Dobson crowd. And he killed remorselessly. But the left makes one slip up and the whole movement is consumed with guilt forty years later. I guess the lesson here is that it's important that we all read up on our Ghandi, so that we don't make any other mistakes.

It's been pointed out that Homosexuals are in fact logically consistent in their demand that man be allowed to marry man and woman be allowed to marry woman. Because in the case of polygamy and bestiality laws, they state that anybody who violates these laws shall be guilty of an infraction, be they straight, gay, Black, Chicano or White. Whereas on the whole marriage of the person of your choice law- - this law applies only to homosexuals and not to straights. My feeling is that marriage is pretty much an obsolete institution to begin with and it is regularly made a mockery of by multiple marriage celebrety weddings. Nobody seems to be bothered by that. Some like Dennis Prager may say to me "Well some people have high morals that they don't always live up to, and so that makes it allright". That of course is a non-sequetor. It's a solemn vow to remain with your spouse "till death do you part". Any person with an even vaguely legal bone in their body would say, "I am not going to be the one who files for divorce". One can well make the argument that laws without penalties are not really laws. Some have, for instance, said that these "Wall Street reforms" are a little on the toothless side and won't really do anything to clean up corruption. The whole idea with Christians is to "keep it vague enough for my own moral piety not to come under scruteny". In no way am I condoning the gay life style. I still it is a form of mental disturbence. It may not be a treatable condition, but it is a condition nontheless just as lepracy is a condition. People think "because you can't do anything about it, that somehow that means it's no longer wrong". I disagree. "Wrong" and "disfunctional" are terms that can exist per se in a vacuum. (Selah)

It was Stewart Sutcliffe that said that Sirius "0" was the planet associated with early rock and roll history. The Federation doesn't talk about this but all the scenes they show of it are some sort of industrial, military setting, where they mine silicon dioxide - - Sand. Oh yes. Conservatives say that is Obama were in charge of the Sahara Desert, there would soon develop a shortage of Sand. On both Sirius O and A the star Sirius doesn't make that bright of a "sun" in the sky because of the distance from both planets from the star. The letters A and B are not really given in the standard manner either. There is something called a karmic "Reigellian immunity factor". Sirius A people have the "A" factor and Sirius "B" people have the "B" factor and those on Sirius "0" have neither factor. Obviously the parrellel to blood types can't be missed. There is an African tribe that claims they are originally from Sirius. They are called the "Dogon" tribe or "That dog gone tribe". This whole "dog" metaphor is carried over because the Cleveland Browns have Sirius "O" as their guiding spirits, not to mention that Stewart is a partisan of the team. But the Federation has stopped talking about Sirius "O".
