Bruins to face Blackhawks in the N H L Finals

The Chicago Blackhawks will be facing the Boston Bruins in the NHL Hockey finals when they open next Wednesday in Chicago, and I will be rooting for the Bruins, naturally.  The Blackhawks beat the Kings 4 to 3 in definitely one of the more exciting N H L games.  They said it was the longest game the LA Kings ever faced in an NHL play-off and they lost it over half way through the second overtime, and the game finished up at 9:03 last night PST.  The game began at five twenty after a very traditional rendition of our National Anthem.  The Chicago Blackhawks looked like they had the game won in the first few minutes because they scored one goal 3:40 into the first period and they scored again, six minutes into the first period so it was already two nothing.  But the Kings scored their first goal around six thirty our time, and looked like they had a chance.  The Kings scored again tying up the game two all, and then the Blackhawks scored late in the third period with little time left making it 3 to 2 Blackhawks.  But then with less than ten seconds left there was an “icing’ call against Chicago.  (They seemed to making that infraction a lot this game)  The LA Kings scored a fast goal tying the game up three all sending it into overtime.  The first overtime period remained scoreless.  This first overtime ended just past eighty thirty and I went out for a cigarette.  I think they said that this was the first match-up in the NHL finals beteen these two teams since the late ‘seventies.

Let’s talk about China.  I don’t know what the President and the Chinese leader did in their little Rancho Mirage hideway- - all we know is that it was really hot in the desert and the attire was a bit less formal than usual.  Maybe they smoked weed or something, because the issues at hand relating to China are too troubling to think about.  Of course there is all of the cyber espionage.  There is the fact that we dare not criticize them about anything - - a point driven home on last night’s Mc Laughlin group.  We say they debase the currency to gain undo economic advantage, but let’s look at this one a bit.  They are going to pay twenty percent more for the privilege of investing in this country.  US Citizens get a twenty percent discount on all money we spend in their country as tourists.  And every time we buy a Chinese made good, we pay them twenty percent less than it’s actually worth.  I hardly see how we are suffering.  We hear now that they are going for military surpremicy over us by2049 or the one hundredth anniversary of the Communist takeover.  We hear that the young people aren’t buying the communist line at all.  We also hear how the women in that country are suffering from “depression” due to the one child abortion policy, which that country has had for at least thirty years.  It doesn’t take a mathematical genious to figure out that with replacing only half the population that dies- - for a protracted period of decades- - and what with all the poverty and inferior medical care there- - and all the massive pollution we’ve heard about, that China should be suffering from a major population decline- -  much as Russia has before them.  None of China’s neighbors trust them now, and we shouldn’t trust them either.  But we will, because it seems that whoever is President- - kissing China’s ass is always high on the foreign agenda.

I guess this SA shooter is John Zuharo or is it Zurarre - - I can’t read my own notes.  This shooter had thirteen hundred rounds of ammunition with him, and there is no way any of our draconian anti-terrorist measures in place now could have stopped this guy.  He definitely had an “agenda”.  He is 23 years old and has that accomplish - - alive and in police custody.  No matter how many shooting incidences like this there are- - no republican congress is ever going to “vote to take away our guns”.   Now this government has a program called Prism, which is our people going after the Internet companies.  Each company in turn issued a disclaimer letter saying in the exact same wording, “Our company allows the government no direct access to our clients”.  It’s the words “direct access” that I guess we’re tap dancing around.  What about any kind of access?  It just seems to me that every day we are living in an increasing climate of fear and paranoia, and I’m thinking if you’re a psychologist - - you cannot be seeing this development as a good thing.

"Today in our Heavenly Circus gallary of freaks from a former life we have a splendid example of a certifiable Patholigical Liar.  Unlike most Pathological Liars this one is NOT a Born Again Christian.  All those are on loan to another circus right now.  But here is a young woman named Tyler and she was dating this guy named Steve, and they were having sex, and if there was a baby product I guess they would name him Aerosmith.   Anyhow Tyler lied to her Mother about letting the boy Steve live at their house claiming that Steve told her he was a homosexual.  But Tyler's mother learned the Truth of the manner and sought to accuse Steve of statutory rape.  Later the Mother ended up being stabbed to death and naturally the Authorities blamed the Man and charged him with First Degree Murder.  But there is a thing or two about Tyler's past we need to know.  She was born a "beautiful baby" who was loved and grew up pampered.  But then one time when she was five being driven home from Day Care her other got ticked off at her wining and beat her and it left marks, and the child custody people came and took her away for a while.  But later on as a teenager still living with her mother Joanne, more troubles occurred.  She claimed her mother was alcoholic and beat her regularly.  But the authorities found no evidence of this and did nothing.  Then Tyler called the police herself claiming to be her own mother and tried to get the cops to arrest her to get her out of the home.  But Joanne, the mother came on the line and intercepted this ploy.  Then one day Tyler was at a playground and she talked to another who described as "angry and sullen" and the woman claimed "Well- - when I said she should do something about her drunken mother she said to me that "There WILL be no NEXT time" and that she had a Final Solution to the problem".  The woman felt a sudden chill.  The next thing we know Tyler is at the police station faking that she was surprised that her mother had been stabbed.  The Police said "OK you can cut the Act, we KNOW that you already Knew your mother had been stabbed".   Of course even now this Circus Freak is protesting her innocence saying "Who would ever do such a thing?"

I define abberated thinking as some mental process which is inherently dysfunctional.  For instance while listening to the Jesus Christ show this morning and the Holy Host was going on and on about how he alone, and what comes out of him is the total embodiment of all Truth- - and a graphic image was given to me (perhaps by John Lennon)  This was of a mental patient in an isolated cell with tattered clothes and looking like a wild man and covered in his own extriment and he was looking at it and playing with it and smearing it on himself.  Now multiple people may happen on this isolated cell and each may see it a little differently.  One person like me might poke open the door and immediately be put off by the stench and get out of there before any of that “smell” gets on me.  But suppose this Facility is some cold climate in the winter time like Minnisota.  And some wino happens into the room.  He may see the scene rather differently.  He may think, “Gee it’s nice and warm in here so I finally have shelter”.  He may see the patient as “someone to talk to”.  And he in his drunken state may say to the patient, “Hey buddy- - it smells in here doesn’t it.  But I’m glad to be out of the cold.  But whoever crapped all over this room looks like he got some of that crap on you.  Perhaps you should clean up or something”.   Now an inspecter from the health department may some from a whole different take.  He sees the sight as “Well there are sanitary violations here.  We better scoop up some of the dung, and have it examined in our labs because it might be carrying pathogens”.   Still another- - an anthropologist or some kind of mental therapist may happen in the room.  And he may ignore the surroundings and engage the subject in what sort of cause may be responsible for his current mental condition and have his note pad out and jotting down notes.  Now what we have here is One truth- - but different “perceptions”.  Perceptions and not Truth itself- - is the thing that is ‘relative”.  Our Holy Host may go on and on about how “all of us in the real world’ see Truth as relative- - but I kept asking - - “relative to WHAT”.  The connotation of “relative” implies some other THING to which our perception is being compared.  So the question is “Was Jesus as portrayed to us – Percect”.   If our Holy Host refers to his true self in the third person all the time - - a therapist may accuse him of “disassociation”.  If he says “What I do is ratio theater” I would say to him, “The real Jesus hated hypocrites – and I strongly you look up the original definition of that word”.    If the Holy Host says, “I’m only putting on an act.  I’m not serious”, then I would refer him to  Bible verse that states that it’s wrong to insult someone up one side and down the other and then to say “I was only joking”.   Jesus stated that the Priests of Jerusalem were “Children of Satan”.  I guess I’m curious as to What Thing - - convinced Jesus to conclude they were in fact Children of Satan.  What Crime are you convicting these duly appointed Priests of?  Is it that they view God as one who believe in sacrificing the lives of the innocent to attone for sins of the guilty?  Personally I would consider this an evil.  Jesus said we were to forgive unconditionally - - yet he himself told the parable of the Two Debtors where forgiveness was later withdrawn from a person - - retroactively.  It’s a Truth that diseases can be healed with modern medicine.  Why did Jesus choose not to share this “Truth” with his audience, but chose rather to let them remain in the dark?  But more to the point our Holy Host alludes to this notion that these “bad liberals out there” embrace this dangerous thing called “relative Truth” but never quite comes to what specific SIN or act he is referring to.  It’s like he splats a can of red paint on the white wall - - and each “art critic” comes in and gives his “impression” of what this red splat represents artistically.  But more to the point in my very first letter to Bill Halliday in April of 1991 I spoke of how “Some pastors just throw everything against the wall, and then see what sticks”, and in the end – it’s this activity that our Holy Host seemed to be engaging in this morning.   By the word "Resurrect" or "resurrection" is a verb or noun that takes an object.  It isn't like saying "The bomb exploded", which is reflexive and refers back to itself.  They are playing "Beware of Darkness" right now.  At any rate- - our Holy Host needs to contemplate why this word "Resurrection" was used to describe the afterlife, in the vast array of Words that the Almighty God had at his disposal to describe the afterlife.  Our Holy Host says he believes in Bible truth, after all as "the only measuring stick".   Well on a Jethro Tull CD, Ian Anderson speaks of "Resurrecting' the song "Living in the Past" and made it trickier and more fun to play now.  This was after "fifteen long years".    We have the whole Frankenstein thing of "attempting to resurrect dead flesh".  We may for example resurrect a coffee table that had been the closet not being used.  People wonder whether the San Onofre reactor will ever be resurrected.   The word "resurrect" takes an object, so is there any way of gleaning WHAT the Bible means when they use this word.  Yes.  Because the Apostle's Creed states that we believe in "The resurrection of the Body".   The word resurrect means to re-animate or somehow restore somethings to its prior state of being alive- - or in use, or what have you.  I'd like to close this paragraph with a little story that's some fifty years old and you smart ones will know where I got the original version from.  One day I was getting a little fed up with the Calvary Chappel News - - and Chuck Smith comes to me and says "Maybe I could come down on the price a little.  So I'll tell you what.  I'll cut the price of the Sunday edition from a dollar fifty down to a flat dollar.  You save a fat fifty cents.  In exchange I will have to raise the week day Monday through Saturday rate-  a token ten cents from fifty cents to sixty cents.".   So I take that deal.  Then my buddy Stewart says to me "You realize you're now paying four dollars and sixty cents per week for the newspaper rather than the four fifty you were paying before".  I go back down to Chuck Smith- who is preaching to a big crowd just then- - and run up on stage and say "I have to talk to you now.  He escorts me to a secret room where we can haggle privately.  Chuck says "OK you're right.  OK, how would you like to go back to paying a buck fifty for the Sunday paper."  I decline and am about to stalk out.  Chuck says "Why in heaven's name NOT.  I'm offering you the reconciliation.  You realize I'm going to get right up there on stage and cite YOU as one of those "irreconcilable people" who is currently in the grip of Satan".  I said "I don't care".   I said to Chuck, "If you knew all things like God all cosmically plugged in - - you'd KNOW why".

Palace Mallice won the Belmont stakes on Saturday and Oxbow came in second and Orb came in third.  Imuendo came in fourth, and Revolution “who never has a bad race” came in fifth.  In New York they give the winner a carnation bouquet.  I tuned into the Belmont earlier than I had for the Preakness today - - perhaps at a quarter to three or something.  Friday they held a race there in the rain, but were pleased with the way the track had gotten dried off and was in good condition.  I like the Belmont because of the tree lined track- - a nice long track- - that’s kind of relaxing.  They say there have only been eleven triple crown winners for all time, which isn’t very many.  The mile and a half long track is the longest in this country, but they didn’t mention any other country.

Santa Monica Shooter Goes On Wild Rampage

There was a major shooting rampage in Santa Monica today just a few miles from where the President was scheduled to be - - and they rerouted his motorcade.   Apparently it is a thirty year old Lebonese from a “reclusive family”.  He initially killed two people in a house, which then was set on fire, and later they found the two bodies.  The shooter then hijacked a car with a woman driving, but on impulse he shot another woman in a car.  He hijacked another vehicle and ended up at a bus stop at Cloverdale and Olympic.  He got out of an RV (large “bus” vehicle according to the Spanish speaking witness)  He began shooting up that street corner.  A blue bus was just pulling up and the shooter shot up the bus shattering windows and such.  He graved one woman with a little girl, on the shoulder.  The little girl was uninjured.  From there he went on to Santa Monica City College, a two year college of 34,000 students.  He went to the campus library packed with students studying for finals.  Students fled and were panicked one of the doors would not open.  At this point Law Enforcement arrived and in a gun battle with the suspect, the officers killed the suspect, and they covered up his body.  But the police also arrested another “person of interest’ putting him in handcuffs.  It seems there was a total of at least six, perhaps more, wounded.  One person died.  I was watching this saga unfold instead of my soap opera, which was already preempted by something else anyhow.  There seems to be no connection with the Presidential visit to California, but the proximity is surely enough to get this whole incident on the National Network news.

They shut down the San Onofre nuclear plant here in south Orange County this morning.  This nuclear reactor had been in opporation for fifty years or so.  At least since I was around twelve.  It was shut down permanently because there were malfunctions at the plant in January 2012 and the plant was shut down, and I guess they figured it was a hopeless cause.  We no doubt have a lot higher nuclear safety regulations than they do in Japan.  I imagine the plant’s closing will drive up the local costs of electricity.  They used to always brag about how cheap and efficient nuclear generated electric power was.

President Obama’s administration is on the verge of giving final approval to the Canadian pipeline to Texas.  A final decision will be made in two months.  Much to the consternation of responsible environmentalists everywhere- - the President once again has betrayed his progressive political base.  It could be and has been argued that this Obama administration is just like having a third George Bush Presidential term.  We need to review the basic facts once again.  The United States will not get a drop of this oil. It’s all going to China.  The Canadian government apparently is suing the oil company.  They could not get the shorter rout to the Pacific Ocean because British Columbia has provincial sovereignty and barred the instelation of the pipeline through its territory.  The pipeline will generate a lot of short term employment but only 35 permanent jobs, we are informed today.  That isn’t much.  We need to talk about the environmental specifics.  This is not oil - - it’s tar.  Tar normally will not flow through any pipe - - but it has been treated with a lot of toxic chemicals so it will.  We have a pretty good idea how to clean up an oil spill.  But a spill of this stuff can’t be cleaned up at all.  Apparently the Kalamazoo river was poisoned for years because of a spill of this stuff there.  And there is a city in Arkansas that was devastated with another spill.  The oil companies have gotten the media to do an ongoing news black-out of this incident.  Of course I heard today that cops were convinced to bash the heads of homeless people, because Corporations wanted the cops to take action when the police weren’t going to.  I’m not normally a fan of industrial sabotage- - but you wouldn’t find me objecting if we learned that environmentalists had sabotaged this project before it even got off the ground.

This may sound like a commercial.  But people ought to get Soda Stream.  This is the thing you hook on a faucet or something that carbonates water to the desired level of fizziness.  And they offer you fifty different flavors of soda flavors, and all of them are without the dreaded fructose.  I guess you add your own sugar.  Of course this device will cut soda costs dramatically.  And there will no longer be the frequents to the 7 – 11 to get cold sodas- - and then all of the resultant clutter of cans and bottles.  The thing is we should all be ecologically responsible.  The carbon level for this planet can’t safely go above 350 parts per million or something.  Just the other day it surpassed four hundred.  Even if the oil companies did nothing but use old known reserves- - this would result in too much global warming for the planet to sustain.  And this is before building the Canadian pipeline.  And frankly we really ought to do something about getting our cattle off grain and back on to grass, which is natural for them to eat anyhow.  And also the meat will be healthier for us and raise our cholesterol less.

Before we get to anything else in this file I’d like to talk again on the subject of death.  With today’s event in the news the average person just may be giving a fleeting thought to the topic of death and their own dying.   Some may say to me ‘Yeah, but any time you get on the subject of death or the afterlife or the nature of the soul, you just hem and haw and beat around the bush and never come to a point”.    Message received.  I believe you ought to have a point.  And it helps to start with what we know rather than what we don’t know.  So let’s first talk about what life existentially is.  We and most life in the animal kingdom is made up of “sensient beings” to use a Capt Piccard term.  That means that we are “self aware”.   There is something else higher forms have in common in that is we are able to draw on our experiences and remember them and learn from them.  Now last Saturday I broached what experts call the idea of “logical positivism” in Math in particular.  That is if you don’t have something or some THING to discuss- - then you are just beating at air.  So - - many postulate the existence of some “world of the dead” as psychics are so fond of doing.  In their world and in Revelation in the Bible, Time as we know it proceeds unabated.  But in my form of cosmological physics - - - I postulate that there is “something else” besides Time.  Much of my whole theory now about the “other side” comes from this theory (or even “fact”) of this bilateral symmetry of most subatomic particles.  So in other words - - by the same logic as saying “if you have a TOP then you’ve got to have a BOTTOM.   So I theorize that there is a whole “other side of the Void”  - - or more specifically that “perceived Zero point” in the Universe.  And not just our human perception that’s “deceived” but all of our scientific instruments are also under this “common deception” that’s operative.  So that’s a lot for ordinary to swallow, and I wouldn’t believe anybody if they couldn’t.   I have likened it to the notion that “the fish doesn’t know he is wet.”  But to a logical positivist who maintains you can’t talk about things for which there is no evidence - - then it’s ironic that Born Again Christians base their whole center of attention on Death saying “We’ll all know when Death comes”.   To a logical positivist, this is crazy talk.  It’s just as crazy is saying “I get my authority to ponthicate the way I do on the basis of a God which only I can see and relate to”.  It’s ironic that the Born Again community would deny two of the most Key attributes of Life- - that is sensience or “self awareness” which they practically call a sin.  And the idea of learning from an actual Experience that you had.  How strange it is that Born Again Christians want all of our encounters with “God” to be “non experiancial”.  (Selah)  I don’t think I can do that.  Now that we’ve summarized what we DON”T know- - what DO we know.  That as a child, time passes slowly- - and remembering it is kind of like trying to remember the remote eons of the past.  Life is a logarithmic time-line.  That is- - when you go from two years old to four- - two years- - you have in fact lived Half of your life.  Going from Four to Eight years of age, you again have half of your life- - this time a four year period- - so your memory is twice as good now.  Then you go from eight to sixteen, sixteen to thirty-two, and thirty-two to sixty-four, Lord have mercy!  I’m not THERE yet but I will be before I know it.  And then what?  You learn more and get smarter and smarter recording in your brain memory cells akin to the RAM brains of a computer.  But then someone pulls the plug and All is lost.  So some could argue that to even speculate about Death - - is pointless because obviously there is nothing there to talk about.  Maybe.   But there is a little chink or two in this theory.  We still don’t know what power GAVE us this property of “sensience”.  And also - - we know that children don’t remember much of anything before they were three or four.  Those first few years are a complete blank and might as well have happened to someone else.  And yet here is the break in this “brain records all” theory.  Because they say that babies remember things - - traumas or even over sexual excitement in the womb before you were even born according to Ron Hubbard.  And my argument is -  - if you can remember all this without a brain recording (because it doesn’t do that yet) so what’s to stop the dead from continuing to be aware and remembering their life experiences once they have gone.  Is life knowledge stored in brain cells or in the psyche or soul of the individual?  This is a question worth asking.  So then, the soul would be kind of like a portable hard drive- - so the adage about death is wrong, “You CAN take it with you”.

S A Spurs Surprise Miami Heat in Game One

The unemployment rate is now 7.6 ticking up from 7.5.  175,000 jobs were added last month, which is actually higher than the average for the year.  However more people are looking for work.  And to the Republicans’ delight, we are destined to see more slowing in the economy as the Sequester continues to exact its deadly toll.  Of course more people are looking for jobs now, which is a good thing- - so I hope Newt Gingrich notes that, with no more talking about how if we used the same standards as we did in 2008 that unemployment would be at 11%.

The San Antonio Spurs surprised the Miami Heat last night in Miami by “stealing game one” winning 92 to 88 or something.  Miami was in white and San Antonio was in black.  San Antonio was ahead the majority of the game, but the game remained in doubt up to the last five seconds.  This mature twelve year old girl sang the Star Spangled Banner, which was a few minutes before six.  I had NBC network news on for the first fifteen minutes.  If I were smart I’d opt for the NBC news all the time since ABC has really been falling down on the job lately.  Cosmically - - San Antonio isn’t that bad of a city, but the Spurs don’t reflect the cosmic vibes of the rest of the city.   The same thing could be said in Houston - - only in reverse.  In that case the team has good cosmic vibes- - - but the rest of the city sucks.

President Obama will be meeting with the new Chinese leader today when he arrives here.  They play to discuss Chinese computer spying espianage that is running rampent now.  It's like that saying "Everybody talks about the weather but nobody does anything about it".   But now President Obama has fresh caused to be really pissed off at the Chinese government.  It seems both the John Mc Cain and the Obama Presidential campaigns were hacked in 2008 and the Chinese government has access to information they couldn't have gotten any other way.  The question is whether President Obama is too bis a whoos to ever stand up for anything that takes any kind of moral backbone or fortitude.  I can think of so many, many areas where one would hope that the Democratic Presidential Candidate in 2016 would be completely different.  So many people say "It's just like having a third term of George Bush when you review the President's foreign policy and his position on surveilance of the American People, as well as such things as Chinese industrial espianage.  It's like somehow since they're lending us money, that somehow we have the obligation to let the Chinese walk all over us.

Last night I woke at one and knew I wouldn’t get back to sleep without smoking a cigarette.  Keith was out there.  I had a strange dream last night.  Not that so many of my dreams aren’t strange.  We have moved on to page six.  They are retiring the nuclear reactor.  I hope they give it a gold watch.  Anyhow I dreamed that me and Dad and Tim and perhaps Mom were at this church dinner where we were guests of somebody else.  It was a sizable church.  But the evening was jinxed for me and most every conversation I was in proved awkward and people took offense at the things I would say.  They had sort of an open bar at this gathering.  You would go up and ask and they would serve you drinks.  But we got the main course which was spaghetti.  One time there was this water that kept squirting out of the end of the spaghetti into my mouth and I’d have to spit because there was so much.  Another time there was this one long piece of spaghetti that was endless and the whole thing kept unwraveling and went down, down, on to the floor and I guess at some point I thought “I’d better cut it”.  Dad said “You look hot.  Why don’t you unbutton your suit coat.  (I was wearing a suit and tie)  But for some strange reason I took everything off and was shirtless and holding my clothes in my hand.  “Now I feel cold”.   The more weird stuff kept happening the more self conscious I felt, and I would get another drink.  At some point I spilled plain water on my pants- - and looked and noticed there was a hole in my pants where the threadbare fabric had worn clear through.  I looked at other places and the fabric was very worn and in places seams had pulled away and left holes.  I said “This suit is trash - - and it isn’t that old of a suit.  Tim would say mocking things to me but after a time when I had presumably sobered up Tim admitted that they were all playing a joke on me and the servers had been instructed to spike my drinks with extra alcohol.  I went outside to this courtyard area.  And I looked at the back (front) of their main sanctuary.  It was a solid white concrete wall with a design of some big Mickey Mouse insignia with the ears and such.  But the thing looked plum ugly and I remarked about it to someone- - how looming and high over us it was.  And what were those metal piping things that are part of it.  The other person said, “Oh those are for the gas flames and at night they torch the whole thing up.”   Then someone else said, “Actually they built that thing so they would have an aestheticly pleasing way or burning people at the stake”.  The thing is- - I honestly didn’t know whether the person was joking, or dead serious.

This is our Opus Magnum paragraph on Morality.  Both liberals and conservatives believe they have a monopoly on Morality.  Indeed it is important - - to treat our fellow man and woman with kindness and consideration.  It could be argued that Evil can be summed up all in the idea of harming our fellow man and transgressing the rights of our Neighbor.  Certainly Compassion is a key moral virtue which conservatives severely lack.  But there are other things which determine morality - - such as how one conducts his Own affairs independant of others.  There are things such as one's mental processes being rational and those etherial qualities of personal Character.  Other than compassion I would like to pose two key other qualities that are not - except by inference - on my official list of Seven Virtues.  These are Integrety - -  or what one might call "moral wholeness" in the same way that a well built product would have "structural integrety" and the other one is Dilligence.  In other words it's doing your job or "being dependable" - not flaking out - - in personal endeavors both public and personal. It all boils down to Responsability.  A person of Integrety is more than just honest- - in that he has a certain Pride in himself that he can look himself in the mirror each morning.  Dilligence is another quality I wish congress had.  There are three vices of the Tea Party.  First of all there is the Dante top of the pops term - - Huberous, or Wrathful Pride.  The tea party has this quality in spades.  No one will dispute that.  However there are two other glairing vices that right wingers are inclined to overlook and are not on Dante's list.  One is just your garden variety Cowardess.  So much of what the tea party does or doesn't do is a result of moral Cowardess.  The other one is Treachery - - which the right doesn't seem to care about it- - and I suppose this "tradition" goes all the way back to Judas.  But I'd like to raise the topic of "Responsability by Proxy" or this third party morality.  Let me give you examples.  Nobody will argue in favor of Selling Stolen Goods.  Because you are vicariously stealing these goods over again even if originally you didn't steel the goods yourself.  But now let's change it up a little.  If your trash that you throw out - Yours- - or is it "trash".  What items that are thrown out by a Supermarket and are in a dumpster now?  How about three day old pastry goods?  Again people have talked about how we "over wrap" food, so there is no question it's still good.  And how about lettuce or other produce items that would be most useful to feed the poor.  How about "stealing" milk that was slated by a Dairy Company to be thrown out, in conformance to some price support Government Contract?  How about ratting out a fellow employee because he's an illegal alien.  I wouldn't do it.  Neil S would but I wouldn't.  And there is this whole area of stolen corporate computer programs.  I'm not going to be the one to rat the company out on that one.  I want to keep my job.  Nobody cares, at least, it doesn't personally bother Me.  Then we have even vaguer morality rationalizations of the Political Right.  Nancy Warwick around here never pays back cigarettes she borrows- and she will never lend anybody any.  She is the most imaculately selfish person in this entire place.  Yet she says she does so "because my brother told me never to give out cigarettes".  But her brother isn't here.  And her brother wasn't the one that gave her the cigarettes. Then we have people like Judy who will in third party style interference- - discourage a third party from lending me money when I need it.  She will say she's "sticking up" for Bill Gunderson or whoever "because he doesn't have a lot of money".   That's none of HER business whether he does or doesn't.  It's HIS business and the thing is between him and me.  Besides he just bought one of these monster truck things a few months ago.  He's not hurting financially.  Rather it seems that the Right doesn't really care about some "rights" that are violated by - - causing people the indignity of paying four percent more income taxes.  Sometimes I think they just want to HURT the poor.  I think they want to black ball the poor to KEEP the government- - or anybody from helping them.   It's kind of like J J Deveroux on Days of our Lives.  Dr. Daniel Jonas never did anything to him personally - -but there is some mentally abberated thinking that causes JJ to want to HURT Dr. Jonas any way he can, and he feels absolutely no moral compuction about it.  Then we come to the most abberated "third party" rationalization at all.  And this one is "God told me to do it'.  They may go so far as to say, "Well if it were up to me I'd be compassionate and generous to you - - but God tells me thus and so".   So they admit that they use God as a rationalization for doing things they in their heart of hearts know are morally wrong.  This is why I defend Atheists so spiritedly.  Because of the way Christians use "God" as their all around Whipping Boy.  Suddenly Capitalism is so sacrisanct that - - other considerations such as giving into personal Greed and letting Greed rule your lives - - - this to them is a "small price to pay" in order to keep this sacrosanct Value of U S Capitalism.

This is an overcast Friday morning June 7, 2013 and in our seemingly endless series of anniversaries, today is the 42nd anniversary of my speech on audio tape, where I first felt it necessary to broach the topic of “Jesus Freaks”.    Stephanie Miller was doing that screechy “Get off my phone!” fifth symphony.  I had ideas for a new blog posting but when I first got up I felt maybe I should give blogging a rest for a while.  I had in my mind last night a whole thing on morality planned out - -   but sometimes politics are just too depressing to think about. The whole government spying thing is being roomanated about and I imagine it will continue to be on all the weekend news talk shows.  I got up at 6:15 and when I got out of the shower I was surprised how chilly the room was.  I put on that navy blue sweat shirt, which is softer and fluffier than the straight black one.  But for some reason they got swapped and the nice one is harder to get to.  I noticed there was that gray sweater with the big stripes on it that I got from this place for Christmas and forgot about.  Once out on the patio I noticed that it was physically cold outside- - perhaps the lowest temperatures we’ve seen around here in over a month. I reran the old coffee grounds before breakfast.  We had a half a banana with our Rice Krispies this morning, and they were using some different kind of oil to do the hashed browns today, like peanut oil or something, and you could smell it.  We had a fried egg and the coffee was decent.  Larry paid me another fifty cents for coffee last night - - and my cigarette supply for the week is assured.  I went out and bought a pack of John Black grapes right after breakfast.

"- - Now It's a Monster - And Will Not Obey"

This whole contraversey about the government spying on all of our phone conversations is pretty much “Old News” but it’s making the rounds again so I’ll talk about it.  People are complaining that Vorizon handed a lot of information over to the government and the people at FOX are all upset about it and tried to enlist South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham into their cause, but Lindsey wasn’t biting saying  that safeguards are in place and we are only after domestic phone conversations where one of the callers is from a foreign country and is a terrorist.   FOX of course believes this is a new story and that it’s just another overstepping of Presidential powers by Obama, who is being known as BHO now.   Not HBO but BHO.  I don’t know if that’ll catch on.  California Senator Dianne Feinstein claims that this is just routine national security and safeguards are in place.  People say “This intrusion into our fourth amendment rights has already prevented One - - terrorist attack” in eight years.  President Bush suspended FISA rights in 2005 and expressly lied about that- - and since then we’ve known that they were in fact “recording literally every conversation” as one caller explained it.  And President George W asked for this power prior to 9 – 11 in the opening weeks of his administration.  Now we hear that A T & T has a little tiny spot on their bills where they give permission for government monitoring and in fact the government installed a special signal splitter on A T & T’s signals.  I would suppose this is because some ordinary Microwave transmissions might still be analog.  But what Feinstein referred to was deceptive in terms of “well, this is only meta-date such as time and duration of phone calls ect”.  However what she failed to say was the government already has this “vast sea” of data, and this so called “meta-data” only makes it a lot easier for them to sort and catalog it all out.  It is said that is President Obama willed it so; he could put an end to the Patriot Act right now.  But he isn’t.  There are those who say that President Obama has so much inside dirt on every congressmen, that if he so desired - he could blackmail literally any congressman in do doing what he wants them to do.

Today is June 6, 2013 and the 45th anniversary of the day in 1968 that Robert Kennedy died.  The semester in High School for me had not ended yet- - which goes to show- - many places are wrapping things up earlier now.  And for you John Lennon fans “45” is a triangulation of the Number Nine.  They are making the students in the National Spelling Bee, give you the meaning of all the words they spell now and if they don’t they fail.  It was never this way before.  In fact the contestant had the right to demand that the speaker use the word in a sentence and even in cases give the ethnicity of the word.  Things are different now.  This has been a busy news period.  Something strange occurred to me just now.  Maybe it’s because I have too much idle time on my hands but Nicole Sandler said “I think President Obama was against the Patriot Act, but perhaps he learned things as President that they told him”.  I got to wondering who this “they” are that “inform” Presidents when they take office.  Because to me it seems that it’s this “they” that is actually running the country.  As Steppinwolf says “Now [government] is a Monster and Will Not Obey”.  The Supreme Court has only rendered one of the many decisions it’s scheduled to render in this month of June.  The French Open is in progress and my soap opera is being preempted.  Remember on that show it’s still the night of May 22nd – May 23rd, if you are keeping track.  And Monday is June tenth.  You know what day that is.  It’s the day that the George Zimmerman trial begins at last, provided they haven’t once again delayed the date at the last minute.  We have our NHL Hockey and our NBA Basketball play-off in progress.  Governor Christie scheduled an election to elect a new N J Senator - - three weeks before his own re-election at great taxpayer expense, he suddenly doesn’t care about.  And then come the end of June everything comes to an end and there is precious little during the month of July.

Nicole Sandler is more of a liberal doctrinal purist than Randy Rhodes.  She says “Senator Sanders has the correct positions on virtually everything” and Sanders voted against the Patriot Act.  Nicole reminded her readers, as I would remind my blog readers, that there is that list on the internet of “Fourteen sure signs that we are in a Fascist State”.  The trouble with this list is the items on it can be subject to interperation as to whether we are actually experiencing those realities right now as for example they are in a dictatorship.  A lot of these questions are rather nebulus and don’t “hit us where we live”.  We citizens may be more concerned about more direct threats to our liberty.  For instance few people object to the fraction of a percent of parking places reserved for the handicapped.  But for instance what if you are circling the block in a downtown area and can’t find a parking spot- - but twenty percent of the parking meters are broken.  And you dare not park there for fear of being ticketed.  Would not allowing people to park in these spots provide more of an incentive to actually FIX these broken meters than they would otherwise have?   How about this one.  There are one of these alcohol check points up ahead on the road.  Do you have the right to make a U turn at that point (assuming its legal) to avoid the traffic stop, and if you do turn around, does the police officer have the right to pursue you?  Some wonder whether we want to be like London where virtually every square foot of land is subject to Video camera surveillance.  What I’m thinking is suppose there are so kids playing with beebee guns and they figure that these Camera would provide an excellent object for target practice.  Can the police then come back and sue these parents for damage to the cameras?   Are there questions a police officer has absolutely no business asking you when they pull you over on a minor traffic violation or perhaps a burnt out tail light.  And if you refuse to answer question you regard as either improper or perhaps even - - “would ten to incrimidate you” do the police officers have the power to then charge you with a crime and haul you in?  Do you see what I mean?  How about the example where a crime like a rape or kidnapping is being investigated in an old apartment- and Law Enforcement brings along with them building inspectors from the City, and has a list of charges sky high for the landlord to fix in thirty days or else face the consequences.  For that matter - - why shouldn’t people who work in a medical marijuana clinic be able to sue for the right to be paid minimum wage - - but the government won’t help them because it regards all of these clinics as illegal anyhow?

I guess some late night comedians such as Bill Mar on television are saying that by logical deduction that the Pope must himself be an Atheist otherwise he wouldn't be saying that Atheists can make it into heaven.  The trouble is there are talk show hosts, and I can think of two - - who say "OK being an Atheist is fine - - just don't take your Atheism seriously".   In other words it's OK to be an Atheist in Private- - but we want you to THINK like a Christian in public.  Of course in the time of Justinian there were still people who took that designation of "Universal Church" literally - in thinking that Salvation was in fact - - universal, regardless of Belief.  There were also some during this time playing with the concept of reincarnation.  Emperor Justinian put an end to both of these doctrines ruthlessly.  It strikes me as funny how the "heavenly church" has Roman Emperors such as Justinian and Constantine- - as its major power players throughout history.  And you read things not only in the Bible but in the early Church fathers saying that "Salvation was spread to every race and language throughout the whole world" as if any of these people knew how vast that was.  We are to believe that fifty days after Christ died - - people from seventeen different languages and races were getting Saved left and right.  I don't believe it.  Before the Gospels were even called that- and indeed some did not yet Exist- - Justin Martyr was talking about "Salvation being spread to every race of man".  I only mention this because back when I was young {"you mean you were actually YOUNG once?") people in Christian circles were expressing fear of worldly governments - - and broad edicts that would styfle people's personal beliefs.  Back in my day- - - "Belief" was said to be a personal thing.  It was a private conviction of each individual.  No More.  Back when I was young Larry Norman was preaching against "Churchianity" and people were saying that you didn't need to get dressed up in a suit and tie and go to church to find God, but that God could be found anywhere.  He could be found in a green meadow or the ocean, or on a high mountain.  No more.  FOX is so delusional that- - - Fox News ought to be labeled as a "communacation pathogen".  That is - - it's in the business of spreading diseased ways of thinking and relating.  It prevents us from asking the right questions, the way that Round Up, mutates weeds- - to make then unable to absorb water, and so they die.  They are not spreaders of mis-information but dis-information.  In this way they are exactly like Pravda - - in the old Communist society.  They not only starve you for real news and Truth- - but like Monsanto,  they put things "in the water" so as to disable your mind from doing its own Reasoning.  And personally I don't have any remedies for this sad state of affairs.  We'll all just have to wait and see what happens.

Is Apple Computer Losing its "Touch"?

One thing Rush Limbaugh got his knickers all in a twist about yesterday morning was this whole thing about how Google is now the "tool of the Obama administration".  This one is right up there with "advertizers don't support whackos like me because they're all run by feminists".   But from there he went on to critique his beloved Apple computer.  Twenty years ago when Apple computer got about five percent of the market for P C's Rush was loyal to them.  Of course Apple screwed up market wise by being "proprietary" and people didn't want that but went with Microsoft, which was alltogether smarter about the whole thing of license sharing.  But is Apple now losing its magic touch?  Could be.  Even while Steve Jobs was still alive Apple was known for its "dud" interviews when this "big announcement' was in the works and roomers were flying about some stunning new product and it's turn out to be nothing.  Now it's only worse.  Apple has not come out with ANY new product, apparently in any area- - for some 270 days.  (someone took the trouble to count them)  And companies like Sansung and Android and what have you come up with a new phone or device every few months or so.  And now we're waiting for this whole host of expected new products from Apple and Rush is giving us a "heads up" that we won't be seeing anything NEW from Apple till at least December and maybe not untill early next year.  Rush Limbaugh took the time to catalog the list of Apple excuses about why a certain promised product was not on the market yet saying "It's an order backlog or shipping backlog' or what have you?  I have referred to Steve Jobs as the "Walt Disney" of the Computer world.  That would be funny if Disney Corp ever went into a major slump.  They never have- - not in fifty or sixty years. It's always been a straight line onward and upward.  But the computer world is a fast moving business.  I told Luan last night I would probably get a new computer system something but most likely it wouldn't be till 2014, and by then who knows what kind of new innovations will be offered to the public.  They say "Windows 8 is having trouble catching on and businesses don't like it".  But next year what is strange now- may indeed become the Norm.

Stephanie Miller has covered a plethora of topics today.  Yesterday all day people were crowing about President Obama’s new liberal “assertiveness” kind of thumbing his nose at the Republicans.  For instance Susan Rice may no longer be Sec of the UN but yesterday the President appointed her to be National Security secretary, perhaps an even more important position.  At the same time Samantha Powers was named for something.  But the Israel lobby doesn’t like Powers for some reason.  Stephanie mentioned that Chuck Grassley and the President don’t have phone conversations any more.  I never knew they did.  Every time I think of the name “Grassley” I think of a bovine creature.  I guess Grassley is bull headed.  Of course they were talking about how we need Monsanto and their GMO seeds because “We need to produce more grain now” and yet the majority of grain is planted and grown not for people but for Animals to graze on so that there is no shortage of burgers for the fast food chains to keep burgers at “market prices” as Rush Limbaugh once said, in a different context.  But if we went back to grass fed beef we wouldn’t have to give up our beef and we could still avoid the peril of genetically modified foods.  Now Mario claims Pope Francis said that dumpster diving may make a comeback.  Because "It's a sin against the poor to leave food on your plate".  Tom asked me last night after me and John Powell had polished off our chicken, "Are you two always this hungry?" and we said, "Basically, yes".  Stephanie Miller was playing a Vikki Carr song- - but she’s a Torino so she has OK cosmic credentials.  There was lots of roomanations yesterday about “school teachers, their sexual frustrations, their thread bare lives”.  No wait, that’s from a movie.  Anyhow- - Nicole Sandler says school teachers are underpaid and too often referred to as “Union thugs” by people like Gov Christie, whom the media wants us made aware “has not abandoned his right wing conservative politics.  That’s just wishful thinking”.  OK.  Nicole wants us made aware that teachers need to be free to be “creative in how they instruct the kids” to keep the learning process going.”   And there was some school teacher who delivered an emotional resignation speech because she just felt so constrained by this “teach to the test” mentality of today’s schools.  I can tell you if the test is kosher.  Wanna know how?  If the MEAN average is significantly below the MEDIAN figure- - the test is fundamentally flawed.  It’s just that simple.  Take my word for it.  Now Stephanie is talking about how the Freedom of Information act is revealing all of these letters Obama Care bashers have written- - asking for their OWN funds.  Are we at the bottom of the page?  OK I guess this is the last line.

A big story of yesterday was Paris Jackson’s suicide attempt.  The last thing she did was doing a video on techniques on applying make-up.  She also tweeted the lyrics of “Yesterday”, which song ironically she owns the publication rights too since she inherited these as part of her father’s estate.  We’ll just pass on shall we say “genetic questions” right now.  After all if Will Horton can get it up, then maybe Michael can, too.  Just because your father was into muscle building doesn’t mean the son automatically inherets bulging bicepts.  I think you all know where I’m headed with this.  Of course when you go from having to put a paper bag over your head when you appear in public, to a rather sudden “initiation” at speaking at a major funeral, you know you have to grow up fast.   There was one book on Elvis, “Elvis and Gladys” where it said that after his mother’s death- - Elvis became much wilder in his escapades with women than he ever was before.  Actually I think there was cross polinization between that book, and the book Red and Sonny West put out.   When I officially moved out on July 17th 1988 in what some might call my official “Divorce” from Christianity- - I still leaned on a little bit of the “hair of the dog” to use an alcoholism analogy.  By the way I figured out that Last.FM wants my money and that’s why they’ve been blocking my stations.  But individual tracks like “Hair of the Dog” by Nazareth - - are still available.  Also I watched “Kill the King” by Ron Dio.  Of course Ron Dio is from the “Colors’ planet along with Richi Blackmore, obviously.  But there was that group - - album by “The Masters of Reality” I purchased in early May of 1989 - - that had a track on it called “Kill the King’ but it wasn’t the same track.   Ironically my last several vinyl albums were the latest releases with the best recording fidelity.   “Totally Naked” by the Talking Heads, was of course the very last vinyl record album I purchased - - in August of 1989.    But not only is there one large page full of available tracks- - but there is also a whole other page of tracks I looked at, of available songs that still play.   Now they are working on some “breast milk” flavored candy - - Stephanie wants to inform us.  Of course people like me and Stephanie aren’t real big on newborn babies, or as Stephanie puts it “babies really suck!”

Let’s suck in a breath and try to get back on track.  Mario was on yesterday and he said that Taco Bell employees have a habit of spitting on their taco shells, or even licking their taco shells before serving them to their customers.  Mario says “I would not go to one of these fast food places because we all know what goes on there”.   I was going to do a whole thing on my early period at the apartment.  (It’s been done)   In the early months there was a Wendy’s down the street that soon went out of business.  Then there was a sandwich place at the corner of Beach where I used to order up a Colt 45 beer, when I wasn’t drinking much at all.   This place, which was the same strip mall as were the Wherehouse and Waldon Books, went out of business in early 1989.   Of course in time the Wherehouse and Waldon Books went out of business.  The Wherehouse was replaced by that Mattress place and Waldon Books was replaced by that hip clothing place called “The Zak”, with a “K”.  No confirmation on where Ringo’s son owns the place.  But I used to routinely bypass taco bell - - but in July of 1989 I began to make Taco Bell part of my regular fast food rotation.    And yesterday morning I had Rush Limbaugh on.  It’s a good idea to check in on the asylum now and then.  Kind of like JJ Deverox might take a glance to see that the two year old little boy in his care- isn’t about to break his neck, climbing up precariously on book shelves.   Limbaugh was rambling on madly about a lot of thing but one thing that especially garnered his attention was Michelle Obama’s speech being interrupted by gay heckelers.  Don’t you just hate it when Rush Limbaugh suddenly becomes a gay lover?  Anyhow these protestors were real jerk-offs and Michelle faced down this one heckler head on saying ‘I’m not good at dealing with people like you, but if you want to take the microphone go ahead- - I’m leaving”.  At this point - - the crowd cheered the First Lady on, and she was able to resume her speech.  The thing is- - President Obama is the best friend the gay lobby ever had in the White House and everybody knows it.   I wonder if the protesters were hired - - “Hummm?”

I went out for coffee yesterday at the ten o clock hour and got more bread pudding from Dora but only one cup of coffee.  We had hot dogs for lunch and baked beans and coleslaw, but the portions were so tiny.  We had orange slices for desert.  I told you about Nicole Sandler, and I’ll coment on the soap opera more when something definitive happens.  Last night on “Criminal Minds” there was a fixation on cutting out women’s tongues.  Yesterday Stephano told his assistant to get a knife and to “Do it” and the guy says, “I know Officer Hernandez- - and I’m finding it hard to wrap my head around all this”.  At first I thought maybe it was just slashing some4 hospital tube- - but then I got to wondering whether he wanted the guy to cut up his face, but after last night I wondered whether it wasn’t to be carried to a more grizzley connection by cutting out his tongue.  I don’t know how the hell they’d show something like that.  I went for coffee in the afternoon.  I had David Cruise on after three.  Actually I had everything off- - and was out smoking and returned and Bill was here just after three, and I decided to make coffee because I had been feeling so sleepy – and then the housekeeper came in - - and then I turned on the radio with David Cruise.  I was unclear exactly why he was so upset about the LA Unions.

We’re just working our way through the standard backgrounds rotation, where we don’t use exactly the same colors or sequence every time but try to stick to an overall pattern.  This pattern here resembles and old Elektra record label pattern, like with Queen I and albums by the Doors.  Of course on the other machine my C: hard drive was labeled Elektra, but that was an accident.  This is June 6, 2013 and of course a D Day anniversary.  Jeopardy a couple of nights had a question about Calais France, and some lighthouse with 273 steps to it where you could get a stunning view of the whole area.  This is the decoy site that General Patton was in charge of, where the Germans thought we would be landing.  It’s been less than a day since we’ve typed and yet so much “stuff” has accumulated that needs to be reported on.  Last night I slept well and got up at 6:07 and ran the coffee grounds through again and turned on Stephanie Miller.  Will wonders never cease- - we actually got our scrambled eggs and French toast before the other side did.  Tom was surprised.  Coffee was the last thing we got.  We had oatmeal - - and I assume that’s cinnamon that made the oatmeal off color - - but we didn’t have sugar for it.

Random Meteoric Thought Ramblings

I figured I'd post the following passage Thom Hartman so often quotes on the topic of religious liberty, and some would say the right to freedom FROM Religion.  It's Thomas Jefferson to Benjamin Rush.

I promised you a letter on Christianity, which I have not forgotten. On the contrary, it is because I have reflected on it, that I find much more time necessary for it than I can at present dispose of. I have a view of the subject which ought to displease neither the rational Christian nor Deists, and would reconcile many to a character they have too hastily rejected. I do not know that it would reconcile the genus irritabile vatum who are all in arms against me. Their hostility is on too interesting ground to be softened. The delusion into which the X.Y.Z. plot shewed it possible to push the people; the successful experiment made under the prevalence of that delusion on the clause of the constitution, which, while it secured the freedom of the press, covered also the freedom of religion, had given to the clergy a very favorite hope of obtaining an establishment of a particular form of Christianity thro' the U.S.; and as every sect believes its own form the true one, every one perhaps hoped for his own, but especially the Episcopalians & Congregationalists. The returning good sense of our country threatens abortion to their hopes, & they believe that any portion of power confided to me, will be exerted in opposition to their schemes. And they believe rightly; for I have sworn upon the altar of god, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man. But this is all they have to fear from me: & enough too in their opinion, & this is the cause of their printing lying pamphlets against me, forging conversations for me with Mazzei, Bishop Madison, &c., which are absolute falsehoods without a circumstance of truth to rest on; falsehoods, too, of which I acquit Mazzei & Bishop Madison, for they are men of truth.

In other news- - Paris Jackson made an attempt on her life this morning by taking pills and trying to slash her wrist.  They said it was a "serious suicide attempt".  Of course Paris Jackson is fifteen now and has had to live the past four years out from under the loving eye of her father, Michael.  Of course Paris Jackson is living proof that Vitalaigo is an inhereted disease.  The question is - where did she get her blue eyes from.  As you know blue in genetics is what they call both recessive and homozigus - - meaning BOTH parents must posess the blue gene in order for her to have blue eyes.  Of course brown can be either hetrozygus or homozygus.  So in the immortal words of Martin on The Simpson's "Michael Jackson is definitely one of the major homos".  But I do wish the Jackson family good luck in their uphill lawsuit against AEG entertainment.  Actually back in September of 1990 I suspected that baby Amanda was not my daughter "because she looked too White".  I don't even remember what color her eyes are, but if they were anything but brown I would have remembered it.  Of course Joe is no David Bowie himself, if you know what I mean.  I honestly don't know which came first, the "Amanda" episode on Next Generation with "Q" or the birth of the baby.  But I figured as long as Will Horton was out of the closet now, I might as well come out of the closet myself.  This was a baby that was conceived in the "November Rain" and I think I feel a song coming on here - - .

David Cruise was talking about the corruption in the LA fire department and then he lit into the Department of Water and Power Union.  The average person earns just over a hundred thousand a year, and I trust that's the Median figure and not the Mean.  Otherwise we have nothing to argue about.  Of course Wendy Gruel would not have allowed any investigation of Union corruption if she had gotten elected mayor, so thank God for small favors.  But David Cruise brings up a point most of us share in common.  That is that money is a lot scarcer than it used to be and people work for every penny they get, and don't want to waste it.  Given this- - it's only "seemly" to use an old fashioned word- - that government should use its financial sources prudently and wisely.  I believe that President Obama squandered his political capital and the nation's capital- when he first took office in 2009, and he has been paying for it ever since.  The Affordable Health Care act was a gigantic sink hole like they are having in Florida now, where funds go down a rat hole and are never seen again.  A lot of cronies thought it was Christmas and tried to spend as much money as they could.  Rather, we should have used those funds to invest in prudent jobs and infrastructure programs that would have benefited us all.  Then we'd have had something to show for it.   Of course Rush Limbaugh says if you have a hundred year old lady and a 35 year old man - - vying for funding for a heart pacemaker, the fact that one is a hundred and the other is 35 should have NO influence on the decision which person to have funding for.  Rush Limbaugh is still keeping alive the concept of "Death Panels".  In Rush' mind - - if people die in the street from poverty, which they do every day in big cities- - this is well and good, but if a 101 year old lady is denied heart surgery- - this is out and out government genocide or something, just like the Nazis practiced.

The 51 star features a hetro rather than a Homo planet.  That is the races are heterogenious.  You have your refugees from the Colors planet- - and previous to that- - Aldeberan IX.  You also have your John Mayoll and Mike Bloomfield Chicago jazz types.  And then you have what "Pink" referrs to as the "Trogg Group" that migrated to Denelus II.  But then you have a group I never knew was even associated with the M 51 star.  You have your Chicago clones like Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, Ides of March, Bill Chase et all.  These groups have a different "vibe" at least to me from the foregoing because they ARE a different race, occupying the same planet however.   There is another Hetero planet.  The Del Phi planet I'm told is "A star in a constelation in the summer skies".  The term "summer skies" is code for those constelations that are high in the summer sky around nine o clock or so, so take your pick.  That's all I was told.  The Jackson Family is associated with Del Phi, which is partially why I brought it us.  But there is another Del Phi group called the "Delphinians" that are more of a mellow black soul group, and don't ask, yes the "Delphonics" are among them.   But someone pointed out that Luther Vandros was from an off beat planet- - - he is from that "Aquarian" planet, along with groups like the Fifth Dimension and the Cowsills and Tommy James.  Of course there was some Star Trek episode where the Federation did not like "half a planet' joining the Federation.  And from the way Mal Evans talks - - you wouldn't even think Chicago was in the Federation judging from how often their songs get on rock compilations.  (very rarely)

Of course we have the Claudius problem - - - because one Coptic Christian site says that Jesus or "Crestus' survived on into past AD 50.  And also a Church Father tied Jesus' death in with Claudius and not Tiberious.  We then have the report in Acts itself about Emperor Claidius cracking down on 'Jews" in Rome, and stuff about 'You're not that Egyptian, are you?"  Of course we have that theological source Bugs Bunny to inform us that in AD 54 this group was all but destroyed by hard times.  Because the Detroit Romulans came to town - - and they spoked the garnish of the T Bone Stankus Steaks they were dining on that night with magic mushroom - - containing the drug psylosyben- - and they all freaked out and hillucenated and developed mass amnesia and forgot what God they were worshipping.   And I'm sorry to disturb some Catholic priests - - but Christianity is a lot less 'Homo" than these priests would like to admit.  Ah yes- - it's time to come out of the closet and admit to being a Hetero, as far as your history is concerned.

A Fundamental Miscarriage of Justice

We do not get news coverage in the media any more about stories people really care about or things I’d consider significant news.  Like Adam Lanza or whoever this Aurora Colorado shooter guy is who injured 57 theater patrons last July.  He planned the whole thing out carefully and even boobytrapped his apartment.  And yesterday the District Attorney said that the shooter was insane and unfit to stand trial or whatever.  So he’s getting a pass and apparently will never have to stand trial for this crime.  And the second any shrink regards him as “not dangerous to society” and pronounces him “cured”, then he’s a free man.  The DA was obviously stupid because he knows as well as I do that juries almost never let any defendant off on an insanity defense.  If justice was what the DA was after his choice was clear.  But now none of those twelve lives will ever be avenged.  But there is a new murder case where a jury is guilty of a miscarriage of justice according to David Cruise.  This woman Kelly Sue Park or whoever, strangled this foxy model- - seemingly in cold blood.  There was blood and actual DNA on the victim’s neck and the tank top - - and on the knob to the stove that was turned in the “on” position without a flame (?) and on a door knob and on a cell phone.  But this Jury apparently doesn’t believe in DNA evidence any more than that idiot OJ jury did, and they voted for an acquittal.  This is despite the fact that the foreman of the jury complained to the judge, that the other jurors weren’t following the judge’s explicit deliberation instructions.  I would have called a mistrial right there.  It would be costly- - but justice at least would be served.  There was also news about how the California medical board- - is a poor place to try and get justice.  Because the number of drug overdoses from medical prescriptions has skyrocketed in the past few years, as well as other complaints.  But this California medical board is deemed nearly useless.  And as for all these 26,000 rapes of women in the military, rotsa ruck trying to avenge those.  They can move their lips and say all the right words- - but according to Randy Rhodes, who knows about these things- - virtually all rapists get a few pass.  There are those who are AGAINST taking the superior officer out of the loop, but believe contrarily, that the commanding officer ought to have the right to overturn any verdict a court marshal should render- and let the defendant walk.

There is just an extrodenary amount of “Mendacity” (to use a Berle Eyves word) in the right wing media today.  For instance there are those who still insist “If the United States were just producing its own oil, that “gasoline would again be selling for a buck fifty a gallon, like it was during the majority of the Bush Administration”.  That’s another lie right there.  I say again these people know nothing about how oil “bullion” price work in world wide commodities trading or the vast influence of OPEC, which pretty much has the power to set the oil price at anything they want.  And we hear that “Head Start’ and similar pre school programs are near useless because as Dennis Prager once said “By the third grade or so, all advantage of such pre school programs is lost”.  This assertion violates common sense, and if it were true, so many educators would not be pushing so hard for Head Start.  And then we have the lie of Mario from KTLK.  It isn’t nice to dis another KTLK talk host- - but here Mario has clearly just misstated the facts.  He expressly stated that the 501-C4 tax category was expressly FOR political groups and was not a “social community services category” but that category lay elsewhere.  This is just a plain lie.  The IRS code expressly states that a 501-C4 group must use their funds exclusively for community and social services- and the like.  There is the lie that this immigration bill congress is struggling with is an “Amnesty bill”.  And Rush Limbaugh said “Obama unleashed the catch - - release – Vote” policy for illegal aliens.  This one is so far from the truth- - it isn’t worth dignifying it with a response.   Of course we are told about the menace of a “National gun owner registry”, which will not exist.  But even if it did, would it be a bad thing?    These right wingers in congress have more tricks up their sleeve than Felix the cat.  Now they want to just eliminate three Judicial positions on the eleven justice “DC court of appeals’ or whatever, because there are now three vacant seats which President Obama announced in the rose garden the nominee replacements for.  Bu the way we did not see that Rose Garden announcement.  That’ just another thing the media didn’t think we needed to know.  Mario was too busy telling lies to bring it up.  The Republicans want to eliminate these three seats bringing the number of justices down to eight, which even Justice Roberts states is not enough to handle the fantastic judicial backlog of cases.  We always hear the same old song and dance about how “No republican wants to be the least bit moderate because they are in fear of being primaried from the right”.  I’m not sure I believe that any more.  Maybe Ted Cruise got in that way- - but I have to think he’s some kind of a horrible aberration in the electoral process, and not a reflection of any typical sane member of the voting public.  We’ll know all when 2014 rolls around.

In the latest entry of "Karmic Suicide" I gave an update on the whole Justin Martyr "Apology Tour", OK I'm getting mixed up with Rush Limbaugh.  Justin Martyr is known as the first systematic Christian theologian.  He wrote all his stuff between the years 138 AD and 161 AD.  This is in excess of a hundred years after Jesus of Nazareth is said to be crucified.  Some things are worth noting.  I word search names like "Peter", "James" and "John" from the Apology and they weren't there.  The terns "Nazareth" or "Jesus of Nazareth" were not there.  I didn't even see "Baptist" or "Baptized" there.  So what does all this tell us.  We must assume that in Justin's time - - he did not even know the NAMES of Jesus' desciples.  Instead he speaks of the "memuires of the Apostles' without naming them.  He does not claim that John wrote the gospell of John for instance.  This claim wasn't first made till Irenius about AD 180 in his writings.  We have heard for decade after decade "They are pretty good at finding fragments of Christian writings- - as little as fifty years after we believe they were first penned".  Yeah, but that last fifty has been a killer, huh?  And indeed in the passage I pasted over from Justin's writings, which took no small effort to even locate- - it never says that Jesus Christ physically resurrected from the tomb.  Indeed the word "tomb" is another word that never appears.  You never here "Jesus physically rose from the dead".  You won't find the terms "three days" or "third day" there.  Apparently Justin was not fermiliar with the Apostle's Creed.   So OK what DID Justin say.  He said that "Jesus appeared to his desciples and taught them all these things".   Two questions come to mind.  What desciples (unnamed) and also what are "These things" referred to?  Personally even if you take the book of Mattew half seriously- - I believe - as in the case made plain with Mark - -that everything after verse Eight in the final chapter is an add-on..  And I can demonstrate why I think so.  Because Matthew ends his book talking about Angels and earthquakes and "Jesus is not here. He is risen and go tell his brothers in Galilee' and all of that.  I think the 'He is not here' verse is telling, because in verse nine Jesus IS there with the women.  But the biggest impediment to the ending of Matthew as we have it in our Bibles is the story about the Guards saying "The desciples stole the body of Jesus in the night".  I guess there is a question of - - are Romans going around violating Jewish tombs to "make sure the bodies burried in them are still there?"  It makes no sense.  But also if there WAS not one but two horrendus Earthquakes as described- - and graves opening and bodies coming to life and walking through the City of Jerusalem - - - whatever those original Roman Guards say (assuming anyone ever asked them, which they'd have no occasion to do anyhow) - - would at that point be quite immiterial.  It seems Justin did believe in some "General Resurrection" and I don't mean a resurrection for military officers.  Justin took the prophecy in the Book of Daniel seriously - that we were "in the end of days".  The whole point of the end of Matthew up to chapter eight- - was a "climactic blow out" where- - suddenly God comes back with a big tumalt- - - and the graves are opened - - and bodies are resurrected an d the like and Death is conquered.

This is Wednesday morning June 5, 2013 and I’m typing this early just to check everything out because yesterday was strange.  It was kind of a jinxy day all the way round and a day I would not care to repeat.  Stephanie Miller is saying she’s not a cunnalinguist.  I pride myself as a cunnilinguist - - - I’ve very good with words.  (funny)  Last’s start with last evening.  We had Chinese stir fry.  I’d been telling people for hours I had this “premonition” we were going to have Polish sausage, which was completely wrong.  That new Tom guy is still sitting with us.  I don’t know if that Plum guy died or what, but the chair is vacant.  How many of you people have a wife who thinks she knows how to cook, but you’re a better cook than she is, and you have to think ‘If you want something done right, do it yourself”.  Just like Chuck Smith says if you get your six year old to mow the lawn for you you know you’re just going to have to do it over anyhow.  As you know I have a famous saying “When all else fails, follow the directions”.  Maybe you can have your wife do a more fittingly feminine activity like repair the loose shingles on the roof or reach her hand down in the dishwasher and try and figure out why the heating element isn’t coming on.  (OK that was mean)  I could tell you all the ways that they screw up any given meal around here but in Bob Dylan’s words, “My words would soon turn into a meaningless rain”.  Anyhow after dinner (we had chocolate pudding for desert)  Larry wanted a second cup of coffee in a real short period, but at 75 cents a cup you’re not going to turn down good money because you do need it.  Due to various distractions I forgot to turn on the computer in time for the five o clock Accronis file back-up, but fortunately accronis kicked right in when I did boot up the computer late.  But it was like Emit Till “slipping through his Southern door” because everything began going wrong.  You couldn’t type.  And the mouse wouldn’t highlight anything.  But strangely if you typed scale numbers in Sketch then it would work.  But Sketch itself was behaving strangely.  You have to watch the “offset’ lines because is there is a short corner they flip the lines around the other way and screw the whole thing up.  But I kept having trouble with a reference point for a took “locking’ and wouldn’t move to the new thing, and I had no idea what causes that, but eventually I found hitting escape would fix the problem.  Then I tried Last.fm and there none of my custom radio stations would work, but I kept getting one of these pop-up blocked type notices - - for any custom station - - though single song links would play - - usually in You Tube.  I even logged off and logged on again thinking that might fix the problem but it didn’t.   I was thinking maybe Nora did something to sabotage the computer when she was alone in here.  And then you look at CPU usage in Task Manager and the computer is flat lining at zero- - and somehow you don’t think that’s normal.  Then you’d see an occasional flurry of spikes - - like an epilectic ceasure or something.  Then Larry came and wanted a third cup of coffee and I was already so nervous I was ready to jump out of my skin.   Then I had a paranoid attack - - because I got “mentally confused” while sorting through the mail, but it turned out to be my disorganization rather than anyone elses’ fault.  There have been times lately when I’ll put three cups of water in a dry coffee thing- - and I’ll get over six cups of water in the pot, which of course is weak, because I only put in a small amount.  It’s like phantom water occurs out of nowhere.   I guess Bill had the TV like NCIS and the follow up NCIS show on at nine- - but I was mentally distracted a lot of the time.  OK it’s seven o clock right now.
