Do People Get Smarter Once They Die?

This is Saturday February 29, 2020 with blotchy cloud skies.  The sun was observd rising at 6:31 but it was earlier than that.   President Trump today is ratifying a treaty made with the Talliban to end the eighteen year long war with Afghanistan.  That’s as long as I’ve lived here.  We wish President Trump all the best.  Meanwhile the struggle between the rebel forces in Syria and the Assad government is still going on.  The rebels supported by Turkey are losing and the United States has chosen not to get involved.  Today is primary day in South Carolina and Joe Biden looks to be the winner.  They say February has been a very dry February indeed here and all over California.  Meanwhile high waves in Lake Erie have crashed into windows.  Usually the lake is frozen over this time of year but this year we still have “lake effects snow.

Nobody but a few psychics and me have claimed to talk to dead people.  And in my case it’s been only people that I never knew in life and also that are musicians or people associated with musicians.   I’ve seen a lot of people die around here and none of them have come back.  Glen Fry made the statement about a week ago that people don’t suddenly get a lot smarter or are able to do things at a hundred times the speed just by virtue of being dead.  The Bible claims we will “know” (God?) even as we are known.  This would seem to me to be a wide ranging promise.   I think it’s a major claim that we will “have all of our questions answered”.   I guess that’s why major theologians such as radio star Neil Savedra won’t answer them here.  When you approach him on his “Jesus Christ” show you bang your head into a wall of theology and feel as though you aren’t “reaching him” on a heart to heart basis.  The Mormons claim that we had a pre existance and that our memory of that will be restored once we die.  The Federation is sympathetic to this point of view.  But nobody wants to have their memory wiped like a blank slate and starting over as a little child in an alien culture and language.   But remember the Bible basically claims that nobody has come back from the dead at least to tell about it.  When Jesus Christ came back it was only to have a “Bible Study” of pre-existent Hebrew scripture.

We’re going to lavender right now and temporarily skipping over “Early Sunset”.   I had Randy Rhodes on for the first time in a while over the noon hour.  It sickens me to think that some politician might to seek political advantage out of a disease.  I hope and pray that Trump isn’t doing that with the Corona virus.  Actually I’m reassured that the president isn’t making a big thing out of this virus attack.  I don’t think it’s bad in this country at all and you never know but what the president might be right about the arrival of warm weather.  At least people’s immune system will be better and people will be more scattered out in the open air and not cloistered all in one spot.  The Pope has a cold now after Ash Wednesday services where he expressed support for the people who have the Corona virus.  A lot more people die from the garden variety flu, which is something people should well keep in mind.  In Japan they are giving students in public school the entire month of March off.  But I guess they’ll have to make it up later.  There is talk of canceling the Olympics but that would be unspeakable.  Randy Rhodes still has the same introduction.  I should watch as a regular thing like I used to back before she took that Costa Rica hiatus, which I really haven’t gotten over.   In politics, Joe Biden is now leading twenty percent in the latest South Carolina polls.  For a while Sanders was catching up to him but that’s a thing of the past after last Today’s debate.  Personally I think in these grim times we need someone who’s “safe” and won’t try any “communist” experiments.  Paul is deathly afraid of that.  But Sanders is great on the stump and in the role of campaigning for Joe Biden he will do well.   I’m just afraid that both Biden and Sanders are too old.

On Days of our Lives,  Ben is having his last meal.  I want mine to be fried chicken and potato salad.  Preferably Church’s chicken like Norma serves, just to let her know I am thinking of her.  I guess he chooses from an approved list.  Maybe a little Tacote beer would go nicely.  His father is almost having a human relation with his son.  Meanwhile the real guilty party isn’t Victor or Zander.  That’s what we all thought for the longest time.  The father of David’s DNA was at the murder site of Jordan (Ben’s sister).  You may not believe it but this is the same male nanny and Christian Maddox is his real name, is the same one that Raphael hired to take care of his adopted son, David.  Only on a soap opera do these bizzaro things happen.  I told Joe they’re going to have a police chase with minutes to go.  I guess being “too late” is not a plot option.

I got two Oreos and a cup of tea for snacks in the lobby.  I talked to Larry Cramer about all the other people in that wing of the hall that are getting sprayed for bugs next Wednesday.  Just as long as it’s not me.  I prayed to God for deliverance.  The weather was so hot today I was actually sweating.  A first for this current heat wave.  I lay down on the bed briefly.  Then I picked up my Bible and read Isaiah 53 just to see if there is any portion of the text I had forgotten.  The only question mark I have about the text was the portion that says “as for the people of his generation, who considered him dead”.   I don’t know what that means.  After this I went to the store and got an eight-pack of chocolate donuts and strawberry Clippers.  I’m saving the donuts for later this evening when I get hungry.  It was the ABC network news after EWN.  We are going to hear about the Corona virus for a long time.  We had a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner with tomato, and an onion and cucumber salad.  We had chocolate pudding for dessert.   I think Joe is asleep.  The window is open a crack.  That’s not wide enough.  I think it was Tuesday the 25th that I saw the new crescent moon for the first time.  This is the thinnest crescent I have seen for a while.

I wanted to talk about Democracy Now yesterday morning.  I want to give President Trump the benefit of the doubt.  Trump is always saying how great he gets along with the foreign leaders of the world.   He has been praising the leader of India for one, where he just got done visiting.  There is nothing wrong with diplomacy.  But now we hear talk about religious strife and the Indian government is somehow behind it.  I don’t want to jump to any snap conclusions.  There may be a perfectly logical explanation.  But it looks as if Moslems are being persecuted in India and in Kashmir.  This is what the Orion Federation thinks.  They argue that the United States should take up the cause of these persecuted Moslems.  But the real question is what does God think?  That’s the big question.  Is God a Hindu?  That makes no sense at all.  It’s almost as if a religion has been politicized just to say “These are my people and I side with them and they are my propaganda tools”.   But I have another question.  Hindus are fragmented.  I don’t believe the Krishna consciousness people are involved in these riots or whatever they are.  We also have the ironic expression of a peaceful Moslem.  So where are all their Moslem buddies back in the Mideast?  How come they’re not racing to their defense.  Or maybe they are.  People repeat the assertion “I never met a dictator I didn’t like”.   I wish someone would explain that one to me.

Gabriel Hernandez Gets Award for She-Devil of the Year

The debate was on at five and not six and on KNXT.  Today Tom Styre joined the group making seven.  They all ganged up on Bernie Sanders because of his pro Castro stance.  Bernie isn’t backing down and damn the consequences.  Even Elizabeth Warren looks like a safer choice now for progressives.  I’d vote for Biden, if I could.  Joe Biden didn’t get a chance to talk much.  The format was chaotic as they leaped from topic to topic in a freeforall.  Later on the moderators got more topical control of the group.  Bloomberg made some points about education and jobs and things he’s done for Blacks.  He appeared more of a normal progressive.  Even Amy Clovichar is all for people who combat global warming.  They seemed to have more frequent commercial breaks this outing.  As I remember I didn’t even go out to the store till the first twenty to six break, when the sun was just set.   I dozed off right at the end of the debate.  This debate was not as memorable as the last one.  They did talk more about foreign policy, though.  Joe Biden has the toughest stance on China, which I agree with.  The debate ended at seven and I went down for medication and then didn’t eat the sandwich.  I watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.  I think I had it on KCOP Chicago PD but I don’t remember it.

I was watching TV to try and relax till ten to nine when I went down to check on my transportation.  Joselyn had to take me because April wasn’t around.  She she had to get the morning’s activities going.  This was another delay.  At nine fifteen we arrived at the dentist’s and I had to have a cigarette before going in.   I was escorted to the room pretty quickly.  Today the Novocain worked.  I began getting numb right away.  But it was time for the cleaning first, or maybe it was deep cleaning.  It was another lady dentist besides Bui.  I am increasingly sensitive to pain.  I felt exhausted before the crown preparation even began.  I mentioned to the dentist about the delayed antibiotics and the fact that my gums were red and puffy.   She said the extraction site was healing normally, but don’t smoke.  It seemed to be taking more time than I remember.  Maybe my memory is failing.  We had to go to another room to do X rays today.  At one point they put on a live action version of the Lion King.  How do they get those animals to do those things?  I mentioned my overbite and she checked that and said it was very minor.  But when she put in the temporary it was a short cuspid and the teeth next to it were much longer.  I asked the dentist about it and then I asked Autumn about it and they said not to worry because the permanent one would be OK.  Joselyn had given me her cell phone number but she didn’t answer it.  When she did arrive I asked her and she said she never answers her cell phone while she’s driving.  She told me she was sick and told me all the stuff she had to do today but hoped to accomplish it all and still leave early.  My appointment was in two weeks but then I was notified to say it was rescheduled for March tenth

That Johnson lady, one of the three Black ladies in that space movie died today at the age of 101.  She was known as a human computer.   Harvey Weinstein was convicted of just two counts of rape today.  The jury voted to convict her on three of the five counts against him last Saturday but now they took back one of the counts.  Senator Bernie Sander is in trouble for saying nice things about Castro and Cuba on Sixty Minutes.  Castro wiped out illiteracy in Cuba, which Sanders thought was a good thing.  Now his fellow Democrats are filled with apprehension.  Meanwhile Sanders is only five points behind Biden in South Carolina and is catching up fast.  As you know he got double the votes of runner-up Joe Biden in Nevada on Saturday.  But he says he still leads Trump in head to head polling

.   Often you only see the black and white kitty in the early morning and not the rest of the day.  I watched Days of our Lives.  We’ve had secrets clarified today.  They did switch babies of those two couples we talked about.  The reason was “To protect our women”.  Zander knew that his relationship with Sarah would be over if her child died.  Victor says “Brady had to suffer the consequences”.   Now Tate, Teresa’s and Brady’s son had been tested and it’s a match.  Victor demanded that it be kept secret but Brady’s son, Tate, spilled the beams.  It seems as if Maggie was drunk and was driving and killed Adrian and somehow a plot was concocted to blame it on Will, so victor could “protect” Maggie, I guess.  (next day)  On Days of our Lives we continue to get more details about the goings on that Mother’s Day when everything bad happened.  Maggie went to see Will in prison.   Victor was afraid that Will had summoned her there to tell her the truth that she was drunk and driving a car and is responsible for Adrian’s death.  Will of course admitted that HE killed Adrian because he was texting and had his eyes off the road and assumed that he had struck whatever car Adrian was riding in.  They dribble out information.  Ben turned himself in but first he knocked out Raphael and should be up for an additional charge of battery.   Gabriel was given a deal by the DA for ten years instead of life, for her many crimes.  Keep in mind Gabriel has already taken a life in the form of Nick, who everyone forgets about.   Gabriel is deathly afraid that she won’t see her daughter again till she graduates high school.  Victor wants Will to keep it a secret that he really isn’t guilty of manslaughter.  Victor wants Will to spend his life in prison as a personal “favor” to his Aunt Maggie so she doesn’t have to be traumatized by knowing she is a drunk driver.  After this I went down to the TV room in front.  I got two Oreos and a cup of tea.

All The News That Fits

There is a lot in the ABC network news.  The Russians are helping out the Bernie Sanders campaign.  Bernie is slated to win the Nevada caucus today and also to get the majority of deligates on Super Tuesday on March 3rd.   Early voting begins today here in California.  Bernie had disowned Russian help saying Putin will be seen for the con man he is when Bernie becomes president.  President Trump was so mad at the intelligence agencies for sending information to congress that he fired the director of national intelligence.  He has the German ambassador in the slot now, who has no background in intelligence.  Trump plans to get a permanent guy in there soon.  I will say that one thing in Bernie’s favor over Bloomberg is that no democrat has ever won a presidential election in the last sixty years with solid Black support.  And Bernie will open the floodgates of new voters getting involved.  And I maintain getting new voters involved and into civics is a good thing.  Mike Bloomberg has back down from his “no disclosure agreement retraction” stance under pressure from Elizabeth Warren and others.  Now Mike admits that he created a hostile working environment and from now on he’s releasing these women from the NDA’s they made.  Good.   Elizabeth Warren said “There is a candidate running for president who has referred to women as “fat broads and horse faced lezbians” and It isn’t Donald Trump but Mike Bloomberg. There are rumors now that Mayor Pete is running out of money and will have to soon withdraw from the Presidential race.   This is fine with me.  But the guy seems pretty cocky.  President Trump has concluded a deal with the Talliban in Afghanistan to have no fighting for a week and after this we’re going to sign a peace treaty with them.  We wish the president God’s speed.  Our prayers are with him that everything he does in foreign policy will be successful.  Harvey Weinstein so far has been convicted on three counts of rape but they are hung up on the two counts of predatory behavior.  Then went to the judge yesterday at noon and the judge told them to get back to work.  But they got the afternoon off and won’t be back till Monday.   Now they say the Corona virus is a “pandemic” and experts expect the virus to get much worse in this country.  Commerce from China has slowed down drastically.  I went to dinner.  We had a hot dog and mustard and pickle relish but no onion or tomato.  We had a macaroni salad with that.  Apparently we had a fruit cup for dessert.  This may have been Jeff’s last meal here but we’ve thought that before.  Patty announced that she saw the next round of bed bug spraying notices on the other side of the hall from me.  I saw just two notices in this hall.  At least they skipped us again and for that I am grateful.

It could be that some statements made by Christians have a whole other, more profound meaning, if you look at them in the paranoid light I see them in.   For instance Christians are fond of making the statement “If Jesus Christ never did another thing in my life I would still owe him an eternal debt of gratitude for his dying on the cross and saving me from an eternity in hell.  Just as an aside, I would hate growing up when the albitros around my neck that at the end of my life I have to endure an agonizing death so that untold millions, it not billions, can be spared an eternity in Hell and a lifetime floating around in a cloud in heaven.   Now, suppose you are a rogue spirit who may have sinned in a past life or have been under scorn or centure by your fellow spirits.  Maybe you are in a hellish state you would give anything to escape.  Now you have a chance, a promise of God, to get a “good life” taking over a body here on planet earth.  You have the right to rob the former inhabitant of the body of whatever positive karma he has built up and you get to appropriate the glory from that.  You get a promise of God of great success and “pleasures at your right hand” to quote scripture.   I believe these are Edomized Ceutaurians who take over here.  These are part of a plan of the Holy Spirit or something to take over and populate and rule earth.  Maybe you think this is a good thing.  Maybe you think it’s God will being carried out and whatever brings God glory is fine with you.   There are people who do not agree.  But it’s understandable that such a person would make the statement of “If Jesus never did another thing for me I would owe him everything” because just your being alive and in a human body, a chance you never thought you’d have again, you are grateful.  Some may say to me “Well, perhaps there is some truth in what you are saying- - on an allegorical level.  Our lives were surrounded by Satan and his demons and our destiny was doomed, until Christ delivered us from all that and translated us into the Kingdom of Heaven”.   But you must know that there are others who are still “waiting” for God to do anything in their lives.   They go through the motions and put on a good act and praise God, but it’s all in vain.  This whole line of reason is something I bet people like Neil Savedra haven’t even thought of.

Last Night's Democratic Debate

My previous posting was rather negative about the chances of any Democrat becoming president this year.  It seems Shannon agrees with me.  She is a little conservative anyhow but she ran down the list and found something wrong with each and every one of them.  Budajudge is gay and that is unacceptable in "America's Heartland" as it is called, without Donald Trump having to say a single word.  Bloomberg has pretty much dug his grave with Blacks.  I was impressed with Biden myself last night.  Maybe he can finally shake the age issue.   Elizabeth and Amy are women and some say the country may not be ready for a woman yet.

Not knowing which if any TV station had the debate I toured the dial after five thirty and came across the NBC network news.  I thought the debate was at six and not five, but I wasn’t even really sure of that.  There were six and not seven candidates up on stage.  Gone were Yang and that Stires guy.   Mike Bloomberg was there but he delivered a horrible performance.  For one thing he was so mild-mannered in the midst of a bunch of shouters and screamers.   For another thing the other contestants all ganged up on him.  Elizabeth Warren hit him hard on the sexual harassment issue as Stephanie and Shannon both pointed out.  The issue was the NDA or non disclosure agreement they all had to sign.  I have a personal bias against non disclosure agreements and selling your soul like that to get a pay-off isn’t my cup of tea.  The way Stephanie tells it, “Elizabeth ripped both his arms off and swatted him with them”.  Then there were the issues of red-lining and the stop and frisk police policies that Trump had formerly praised, till he ran against him as president.  Biden was much mentally sharper today, though he said less than any other candidate and almost nothing early in the debate.  He wanted to be sure and get his two cents in even if he was a little off topic.  I would have done the same thing.  Amy Clovichar made the fatal error of not knowing the name of the President of Mexico.  Then she said “You’re not calling me dumb, are you?”   But then Elizabeth stepped in and defended Amy, which made me think it might be some kind of a woman thing.  Bernie Sanders’ strongest point was when he said the rich “Made a grotesque amount of money”.   Back during those ten years when I was as poor as a church mouse,  ANY amount of money seemed like a grotesque amount of money.  Joe Biden was the only candidate who seemed concerned about mounting deficits and had figures for reducing the deficit is capital gain and other taxes were raised.  Mike Bloomberg took a swipe at Bernie saying he’s a millionaire that owns three homes.  Bernie defended single payer health care as saving billions of dollars in the long run, and I’m inclined to agree with him.   Budajudge wasn’t that impressive.  Me memorized all of the right lines to say to pick at others.  His chief selling point was “You shouldn’t have to choose a billionaire ex republican and a socialist who isn’t even a democrat”.    Nobody dared bring up the gay issue.  Foreign policy was never discussed to the best of my knowledge.  But they did talk a lot about relations with Blacks and Latinos.  Everyone got on the global warming band-wagon and China trade was discussed a little.   According to Shannon Elizabeth Warren won the debate merely because she attacked everyone else’s’ plans on health care without coming out and saying what her plan was.  She talked about “working with the unions” and seemed like the king of compromise on health care.  Gary and Shannon spoke of the grooming habits of the candidates.  They all made closing statements that ended a few minutes after eight.  Most of these closing statements were weak.  Bernie Sanders is the only one who wouldn’t agree to abide by the Convention rules next year letting the super delegates kick in with their vote in case there was a log jam and they had to go to a second ballot.  Many people think that without these special delegates kicking in their two cents that Bernie will have it won after Super Tuesday.  After this I went out for a smoke and came in and I watched Chicago Med but even dozed off in that a little.  I had gotten my medication during one of the breaks, that grew more frequent as it approached eight.

Yesterday April asked me what time I wanted to be picked up to go to the dentist’s.  I said ten after nine.  I was back there smoking at ten after nine.  We went to the van and we went right there.  I was actually called in early and Dr Bui got started at 9:28.  But it turned out to be a turbulent visit.  The anesthetic didn’t work.  That alarmed me.  They also told me that in addition to the root canal I’d be having that tooth extraction today.   Previously they had told me that they would wait on that tooth extraction for final approval of a crown.  They had one of those automatic blood pressure decides that always makes that rumbling sound and tightens up really tight and is slow to let go.  I thought the guy said my blood pressure was 159.  I figured that would be too high for an extraction.  I was wrong.  I asked Dr Bui why it took so much Novocain for me to get numb and said “I had a lot of coffee today”.  She said it was the coffee and it affects the chemical receptors.  I went to the bathroom early in the visit and also later on during a break point.  The root canal took longer than usual and I told Dr Bui that.  She just said I had a bad memory but I don’t from last time.  It was ten after eleven and she said she was almost done and I was planning to announce when they were through with the root canal that I was leaving and not going to have the extraction today.  That didn’t happen.  Before I knew it they were yanking and pressing.  The tooth was falling apart.  There were complications, as I feared there would be.  Then I heard something break off.  “Are you doing the extraction now?” I asked.  They said they were but just be cool and relax.  They brought the X ray equipment out several times.  At one point I started to talk and was spitting blood all over their equipment and on the radiation shield thing.  It was a two and a quarter hour visit and I was done just past a quarter to twelve.  They called April but it didn’t take any time at all for her to get here.  I tried to smoke a cigarette but gave it up.  The next thing you know she was here.  I’m glad there wasn’t a wait.  Of course I had missed lunch.  I got home about five after twelve and now I went out for a cigarette.  After this I hurried on to the resident’s council meeting.

I arrived in the room about twelve after noon.  This was a pretty through meeting and they read all the reports of old business of problems and whether action was taken.  A lot of the stuff involved Millie, who is not here anymore.   Then it was new business.  Now they are saying you can have coffee at dinner if you request it, but they don’t want to have it for just anybody but only if it’s OK with your doctor to be awake at night, or something.  At any rate we did not have coffee last night.  Patty complained about people going up to the carts with milk and juice or whatever and coughing and giving us all the flu bug.  Patty was also annoyed about the loud talking that goes on with shouting across tables and often yelling at people.  There was talk about the varying temperature of the food.  I left at some point around one.  But I dropped the prescription sheet containing both my pain medication and my anti-biotic.  I can get Adville but I can’t get an antibiotic.  I retraced my steps and couldn’t find it.   There was no talk at the meeting about organized activities.  Denise got praise for the laundry service.  I watched the rest of the Days of our Lives episode.  If you’re wondering Ben has been caught now.  He had just convinced Sierra that he and her needed to separate when Raphael was at the door.   I decided it was too soon for snacks.  But April had said she’s talk to Rico about getting me some yogurt to eat.  That didn’t happen.  The teeth were at maximum pain about five thirty before I got my evening Adville.  Right now the root canal tooth hurts more than the extraction area.

Hesitating on the Road to Damascus

Did I escape a calamity on Monday at noon or is fate only stalling?  This blog post is a little long and a little different.  It's kind of a John Wesley Harding of blog posts..

Let me just say that the past couple of days I’ve been thinking that I don’t want to fight God’s will and if God wants Trump to continue as president then I’m in no position to argue about it.  I’ve been looking at the democrats and their debate and somehow you could stamp the word “loser” over all of them.  I can almost read the mind of the TV viewing public and know what they’re thinking.  Scripture says to have the mind of God, and I want to get inside God’s mind and figure out why the conservatives love Trump.  I am also haunted by that scripture in Acts that says “We dare not attack this movement or we could well be in a position of fighting against God, if it’s successful”.   The phone rang a little before nine and it was Paul.  I had my wish.  I got to hear why conservatives love Trump.   I told him I was still a registered Republican.  I never made the transition to democratic, and I would be voting for Governor Weld or somebody.  Paul thought that was a waste of time since Trump was such a great president, who would think of voting for anybody else?  Paul doesn’t care about all of the Russian stuff.  The way Paul puts it is “Nobody would selfishly opt to become President so that any way Trump could get to become president, it’s a good thing because he is helping the country.  I told him Trump gave a perfect State of the Union address and Paul hadn’t seen it.  I expressed doubt as to whether things were as economically perfect as Trump says they were and Paul says “Of course all those good things are true”.   I did not dispute his words because I was on a mission to find out what he believed and not tear his argument with economic facts and figures acquired over the decades.  I did say that I didn’t want Bernie Sanders as the nominee.  This contradicts what I wrote Tim last week.  The socialist label is just too much and Trump will kill him on it during the campaign.  Paul agrees with me or God or whoever that Trump will be elected to a second term, that will likely be more successful than his first term.  I also told him about that other problem that cropped up yesterday at noon.  Paul said that Tim has doubled his blood pressure medication because of all the stress of impeachment and the debates.  I brought up getting the records and books from Dr Levy and Paul said there is no rush.  I wasn’t in any hurry was I?  And I said “No”.   Paul hadn’t called about anything in particular.
After the phone call I asked Joe “Do you suppose I should start listening to conservative news sources and cutting back on progressive ones?”  Joe said he didn’t know.  I think it might be a good idea to put a little distance between myself and Stephanie Miller and Thom Hartman.  Paul called it an “advantage” that he doesn’t listen to main stream media.   Paul told me about this case where he recommended that an athletic boy who loves baseball should have a male parental figure but that he was forced to put him up with a lesbian couple.  I mentioned that I hadn’t really prayed much about Satan sabotaging our morals, which is what Paul says will happen if any democrat gets elected.  Some mastermind is controlling all of the democratic candidates and they are getting ready to unleash a fantastic plot to take over the county’s morals in 2021.   Joe just said “It’s hard to pin down who the devil really is”.   After this I turned on Let’s Make a Deal and after this it was The Price is Right.  Drew Carrie’s girlfriend got murdered yesterday and he is temporarily curtailing taping.  Actually I haven’t prayed much for myself lately but I have been praying for other people like these people under quarantine from the Corona virus.  A lot of people need our prayers like the flood victims in Mississippi.
I shaved because I knew money draw was on its way.  I went down at a quarter after ten and sat down in a black chair but the line wasn’t moving and the door wasn’t open.  I went out to smoke and then I went back to watch a little more TV.  As it approached a quarter to eleven I figured I getter get in line.  Now there were only a couple of people in line ahead of me and Phyllis said Jennifer started “a long time ago”.  I got in to see Jennifer and she already had the eleven dollars for me that I had left in my account.  Jeff Anderson was at our table.  I remarked that yesterday evening the water pressure seemed down and Jeff agreed with me.  Tanya put on a jacket just as I was thinking of taking mine off because I was warm. We had real chicken for the first time in maybe years. We had chicken on the bone and it was nicely prepared but rather salty.  We had cheesy potatoes with it and vegetables.   We had an actual big slice of watermelon for dessert.  Jeff got more than we did.  After this it was Gary and Shannon and then Swamp Watch.  Bernie Sanders and Mike Bloomberg are going at it.  Beggars can’t be choosers.  If it’s Bloomberg as the nominee I will happily vote for him.  Nobody is paying attention to his background because the mainstream American seems so far to the right that it doesn’t matter.
Today was a key episode on Days of our Lives.  Gabriel’s little stunt with Julie’s pace-maker has been fully exposed with a little help from J J.  Apparently Julie’s pace-maker was de-activated but nobody knew that except Julie.  Also “Uncle Bill” as Julie used to call him, has died.  Doug owes Bill his reformed life.   Dr Saran finally showed up this week.  I heard the names called earlier and went down but then went back up till two when I went down again and nobody was in line to see the doctor.  My temperature was high by my standards at 98.7 and my blood pressure was 128 over 80 and that’s pretty good.  Dr Saran still doesn’t have my blood test that I took several Saturday mornings ago.  I mentioned that maybe I was low on B vitamins and the doctor said “We’ll know when we get the results”.  He did not discourage me from taking my own B vitamins.  A few minutes later I was called down to the phone for a reminder of Autumn about my dentist appointment tomorrow at nine thirty.   I should have mentioned my cough.

Yesterday morning I had the Thom Hartman show on.  I’ve had the feeling that something bad was going to happen over this three-day weekend but I couldn’t tell you what.  Augustine came in the room and said we were getting a new shower head and this one would have a hose.  Then the other guy came in but he couldn’t install it because we had incompatable fittings and he had to go buy the right part.  During the morning I was having this thought about the “Sea of Death” like Ramses talked about in the Ten Commandments.  As you know this symbolism of water separating the land of the living and “Heaven” is even apparent in the first chapter of Genesis where God said that “The Heavens” were actually above a vast resavuar of water surrounding the earth.  There is the symbolism of “Crossing over Jordan” and also the Nile River was seen as a river of death and the Egyptians built their cities on the east side of the river but they had the Pyramids on the west side.  In my I Ching triagram elements thing back in the summer of 1983 I had “The abysmal water” as aqua green and “to the west”.   As long as you asked, this realm of the dead is just like this physical universe except that it’s populated by dead people.   There are “terriestrial” inhabitants right here in southern California such as Bajorans, Romulans and Cortessians.  And all of the planets on stars we have talked about through the years are there.  And there is no worry about the fifth dimension.  It would seems there are travel restrictions between planets and Alcyonne alias God is the traffic cop that hands out travel permits.  But we need more information here.   It’s possible that this is a mirror image of our universe.  (some say that)  The Sea of Green is the psychic link enabling psychic communication over the vast distance.  Does that help?  Today (not yesterday) at lunch Patty remarked about her new shower fitting.  Then Glen got the crowd’s attention.  I had the feeling it wasn’t going to be good.  When he said “A lot of you have lived here more than a few months are familiar with- - - and right at that moment I KNEW it wasn’t going to be good.  At this point we are leaving our blog readers in suspense because God told me not to share it with you people.

President Trump has gone on a pardoning spree.  He has pardoned that Blogoiavich who sought to sell political influence, and also Rudy Giuliani’s police chief, who was convicted of tax fraud and also junk bond merchant Michael Milkchen.   Now there is talk of pardoning Roger Stone.  If it happens none of us have the power to stop it.  It’s whatever God’s will is.  God is the ultimate soap opera writer and none of us has the means to contradict anything he does.   We are told of all the prosecutors who don’t like the way Trump is handling his job.  Trump now calls himself “the chief law enforcement officer”.   Paul told me that before Trump ran for president Paul didn’t like him at all.  But he’s seen the fruits of Trump’s administration.

We named this file “preconception”.   We shouldn’t have preconceptions about stuff or we may likely be proven wrong.  Neil Savera announced it as an absolute law that no object in the universe can travel faster than the speed of light.  The trouble is if you have black holes in this universe they will accelerate objects faster than the speed of light.  Also, scientists tell us that the rate of expansion of the universe is constantly accelerating.   Now if you were in a race car and you floored it but you had a governor on your engine that caused you to stop accelerating at 95 miles per hour most of us would think that was really flying.  But for a race car that would be crawling along the track.  As you know I think we had installed the other day some governor or something that limits the water pressure in the sink past a certain point.   Then we have the question as to whether the “soul” is immortal or mortal.  You would think theologians would have solved this question but they haven’t.   You know that parable of the workers in the vineyard that Jesus told?  Well, it may be that it’s a mute point as to whether the first workers or the last workers got paid a fair amount.  Because it could be that Nobody has gotten paid yet!  And it’s been two thousand years and they and us are all still waiting for some resurrection.  I think it may be presumptuous to state definitively whether we are “Saved” or not.  Just this morning I thought “Well I’d like to end all of these arguments with God I’ve been having.  I just claim Christian salvation with Jesus in my heart.  Therefore I’m saved and we’re all of one accord with nothing to argue about.  God answered me.  He said “It just doesn’t work that way”.  I have had a sense of doom both with the impeachment hearings and also all of these political ads by democrats now.  I have this feeling of doom that something is going to come along in a couple of weeks to short circuit the whole process.   I hope and pray that I’m wrong.

Re-taking Lost Ground (from 2006)

I am still for Bernie Sanders despite what I wrote in the previous blog.  I still say we need a man to run because people still won’t vote for a woman and the voting numbers have proved it.  Elizabeth tends to get a little whiny and that doesn’t go over well.  But on the issues I am all for Elizabeth Warren.  And I respect Stephanie Miller for supporting her.  But Stephanie herself said she would vote for Bernie with “Orgiastic” enthusiasm.  I’m holding her to that.  We talked about the psychic chessboard last time and perhaps football at times is a better analogy than chess.  After all you don’t capture pieces.  The goal is to control as much of the board as you can and make it easier for your men to maneuver about and make it more difficult for your opponent to get his men where he wants them.  It’s important to listen to your captain and when he gives the command to take ground at a certain spot, I want all men to assume their new positions.  Some say that Bernie aims too high, and that his goals are too lofty.  Keep in mind that not even Bernie will pass Medicare for all or free college education, unless he has a congress that will go along with him.  The implementation of a program is more in the hands of congress than it is the president.  But at least we have to have a worthy goal to shoot for.  You may not make that thirty yard long bomb pass every time.  But maybe the next time you’ll get it.  The thing to do is to keep trying and play the odds.  You may not make that twenty yard running play, but you might gain ten or fifteen yards.  That’s good enough.  It will get you a first down.  Chessmen have the volition to either move when they are supposed to or not.  You have to open up that space and take new ground.  Or in our case, it’s recapturing old ground we’ve lost over the years.

This is Sunday February 16th and on this day in 1964 they had six more Beatles songs on the Ed Sullivan show.  It was the first time Paul Mc Cartney had ever seen a palm tree.   They were in Miami and they overlapped three songs from their previous week.  That would tend to make viewers think the Beatles were short on songs playing repeats.  They had a lot of “Good Morning” songs including “It’s gona be a great day” and “All Things Must Pass”.  Only in the case of Ronald Reagan all things haven’t passed.  Ronald Reagan may be long gone but his government budget policies live on forty years later.  I watched Meet the Press at eight and Joe Biden finally saw fit to do a news program.  He says if he’d run in 2016 he would have done a real bang-up campaign.  I think he would have been a better candidate then simply because he wasn’t as old and mentally fuzzy as he is now.  Then the woman of the hour Amy Clovichar was on.  She’s confident that once people discover what she’s all about people are going to vote for her in mass.  Bloomberg was put to a lot of criticism, and in fact used to be a Republican.  He once approved of red-lining so heartily that he said eliminating red-lining is what caused the Real Estate crisis of 2008.   He told a female employee to get an abortion, “kill it”.

Yesterday Maggie on the Bill Gardener show was talking abut one dead singer and one who was still alive.  Dion Warwick is still alive and Joe says she has white hair now.  She has to be in her eighties and still touring.  See her while she’s still alive.  I would go to her concert just to meet with her back stage and talk about her psychic hotline.  Etta James is no longer with us.   As you know she is a “Sixer” living on the southern half of Reigel VI.   Dante spoke of heaven being various planets in this solar system.  We just extended that.  It is the part of all of our teaching that is the least supportable as far as having it fit into any reality.   For one thing, why would people tell me where dead people were living and nobody else in the LA area?   I’d like to meet Clyde Mc Phatter who is also dead and I guess Hank Ballard is, too.  These represent the first and second 45 rpm singles that Bill Gardener bought.  He played “Such a Night” but the ending got cut off.  I was going to talk about the planets where dead people go to but I think that’s too strange for these rationalistic times.  Psychics are not fashionable now.

I had no need to go to the store in the evening.  The sunset last night was 5:31, so we’ve finally made it past five thirty at mid month.  Then I watched the ABC network news.  I heard someone say that Norma was here for the Bible study.  I finished up the network news and then went out for a final cigarette and then went in to check on it.  Norma was just getting her Bible ready at a few minutes past six and I just hoped I wasn’t there so late I was disqualified for the chicken.  She preached in chapter six of Revelation.  It was the four horsemen of the apocralipse.  The first rider went out to conquer but though he had a bow, he had no arrows.  I think maybe this was just an oversight of the author.  Norma said it’s because it was Jesus Christ who went with his gospel of peace to win hearts.  Brother Bart was at the Bible study and he disagreed and says his church teaches differently.  I don’t know if this is why Bart left the study.  Then there was the red horse of war.  There was a lot of talk about the crime rate now.  The black horse is famine and not death as I had thought.  This features the scale weighing out the grain.  Then there is the pale horse, which is death.  There was a lot of stuff about this new locust plague in Africa now.  And there was a lot of talk about the corona virus.  I mean they are quarantining people for two weeks and they get back here and it’s another two weeks so they don’t see their families for a whole month.  Norma took longer in getting the fried chicken out to us.   And she insisted on serving the women first.  Larry Barton hung around as if he were going to snatch up a piece on a moment’s notice.  Norma passed everyone’s chicken out to them.  We didn’t form a line as usual.  Joe came in and got one piece.  I was still hungry after two pieces.

Metaphysics In Review

The other day the house and senate each passed a bi-partisan bill to curb the president’s war making powers against Iran now.  Congress has been entrusted with that power.  But the president plans to veto that bill.  Logically I don’t see how he can veto something that congress has indicated their intention not to approve in the first place.  I would take that one to court because that one has the makings of a constitutional crisis in my opinion.   Eight Republican senators crossed over to vote for this bill making fifty-five votes.   Mc Cabe was that FBI agent that was unceremoniously fired four days before he was to start receiving his pension.  How the justice department has decided months later NOT to file any charges against him.  The guy’s carrier was ruined for nothing.  The media says Trump will be upset when he learns that that charges haven’t been filed.  But on the other hand other people who are charged or sentenced or whatever, Trump intends to pardon anyhow, like Roger Stone.   Stone still hasn’t been sentenced yet and it could be a standard nine year sentence anyhow.  There is no rule which says that a judge has to go by AG Barr’s recommendations rather than what the prosecution staff recommended.  They issued that recommendation in accordance with numerous circumstances of thee s case and guidelines.   Now I hear that New York state is being pressured by the Trump administration not to prosecute various administration officials, by Trump.  Trump has to be kicked out of office as soon as possible because with each passing day he does more damage.  And the statute of limitations is going to expire in prosecuting various crimes.   Trump sees his acquittal from impeachment as the basis of fresh power over his enemies.  Some say Trump is acting like a third world dictator or a nation that has just come out from colonial rule.  It would seem that the cleaner you are, the more that Trump is going to hound you.   If you’ve gone all the way in supporting the President’s warped plans, the more he’ll protect you.  Some say when the president is leaving office he’ll be doing massive pardons of his friends.

Could it be that the Federation is reviving after all these years.  Now the Orion Federation is saying that Elizabeth Warren will become president this year.  As you know there is that rock compilation with her picture on the cover.   Stephanie still wants Elizabeth Warren to win and will be voting for her as the most honest candidate out there.   She is concerned about Bernie because his supporters tend to be a little single-minded and cultish.   Some may say “why does it matter since what could the Federation do one way or the other to influence the election?”   For one they could do a lot of sneaky under-cover stuff if they wanted to.  But if they want to now why didn’t they want to four years ago to keep us from having President Trump the past four years.   The last posting we talked about the Sea of Green alias the true psychic realm, which has ever been listed in any of our dimensions or not for an awfully long time.  These aren’t the three psychic encounter dimensions of a first, second, and third kind, which are related to astral projection.  This is a dimension where the soul, or psyche, takes on physical form and thoughts are things.   Of course we do have the psychic chessboard, or the cosmic chessboard, where all of the chessmen are like pawn projections of our own egos.  In this case the belief is that earth is somehow a gigantic proxy model for the “heavenly forces” to carry out their little battles.  Some may shy away from this model since it’s awfully egocentric to think of Planet Earth as nothing more than a giant chessboard where games are played.  We have other metaphors for you.  There is the four thousand holes of Lankishire where you have this gigantic room with all of the black holes in it, but the one with the Sea of Green is aqua green.  This is also known as the Stoned Imaculate dimension because of Jim Morrison.  “Out here there are no stars”.   This is what we refer to as the zero dimension we’ve talked about.  The danger here is that the dots take you to other fifth dimensional realities and you might get hopelessly lost.   Another metaphor of ours is the psychic funnel.   Then there is psychic down-shifting.  Other than the bike racing metaphor this has to do with making yourself more powerful in the chess game, but in the bargain you expend more fuel and risk losing speed in the psychic funnel.  You sort of borrow from the future to benefit the present.  There is obviously psychic up-shifting too, which does just the opposite.  Sometimes I think I have been up-shifted without my knowledge.  The Orion Federation features the “Gemstone” of twelve dimensions and not our usual eleven, and some of them have been shifted out and in.  They are twelve dots arranged to look like a gemstone and the twelth is “The twelth man” alias God alias the Pliades.  These are seven heavenly sisters in the sky who are at enmity with Orion according to some Greek mythology.   I was going to talk about the whole alleged Born Again experience and can other religions have it besides Christianity?  Federation teaching is that “we live in a sea and when we are fished out into the open air we are left to die and then assimilated by our captors.  We at that point become psychically dead.  Our captors, by this model, are already psychically dead, but they don’t know it. Another varient of this analogy is that these demons in the sea of green are "malcontents" who seek escape into a physical body in this terrestrial realm     Gnosticism talks a lot about all sorts of things and among the terms they employ are the pnumatic or "spirit" and also "psychic" or soul, or somatic, or physical body.  Some would posit that the "spirit" as they refer to this "new life force" as opposed to the former resident of the body alias the psyche.  Some other spirit assumes out place in our old body.  When we are promised “New Life” or being “A new creation” it isn’t we who get the benefit from it, but rather the spirits that take our place.  I was going to say more about this but you have enough to chew on right now.   The Apostle Paul comes to mind as one of the original Born Again people.  I will say this.  Born Again people in nicotine don't mix.  Born Again people don't smoke and if you see one of them smoking they haven't been "taken over" by another.   There is no need to "recon the old man to be dead" because your former soul is Already dead.  People don't have to wonder whether they have been "Born Again".  They all know it, and never "backslide" or have a moment's doubt.  This is one reason why any "Doubt" is such a tell-tale sign you haven't been Born Again.
