RUSH LIMBAUGH CALLS PRESIDENT OBAMA'S KANSAS SPEECH A MARXIST MANIFESTO

I was flabberghasted when i saw this E mail someone sent me that I read just now. First of all Rush Limbaugh is so inarticulate he's often incapable of finishing one sentense without lapsing into a totally unrelated thought. But following Limbaugh's train of logic this how Rush painted the President's message yesterday: The president of the United States said that the United States of America, as founded, "has never worked." Stop and think of that. Ponder that for a moment. The president. Not the head of the SEIU. Not the chairman of some congressional committee. Not a Democrat presidential hopeful. The elected president of the United States said in Osawatomie, Kansas, trying to be Teddy Roosevelt, that the United States of America has never worked. That is a quote, "has never worked." No. this is NOT what the President said yesterday. He was specifically referring to "trickle down economics" and tax cuts for the wealthy. THAT has never worked. The President never said the words "America as founded has never worked". Rush made that up out of thin air. The exact quote after the President was done probing the psychology of motivation behind why many people may believe in the trickle down there. The President then said: "There is one problem with this. It doesn't work". I repeated this expression myself on my posting and even expanded on it. This is not a conclusion of political bias one way or the other. It is one of fact. You can point to the 1981 tax cut that exploded the deficet. You can point to Bush's self induced post 9 - 11 recession based on hysteria and fear. THAT was the time to talk about fear and apprehension - not now. And Bush caused it. So as a cure for his own cause he proposed things like massive giveaways to drug insurance companies and the whole Real Estate scandal to garner Latino votes in 2004, and he cut taxes mainly for the rich. It didn't work. Larry Elder and other right wing seminar callers will also talk about JFK's tax cut. The problem is that no tax cut was instituted under JFK, so if they are thinking of things like the space program, they're wrong. That was not a product of tax cuts, and neither was the interstate highway system. Eisenhaur did that, while taxes were high. After taxes were cut for the rich we got into the Viet Nam war and cranked up spending and the deficet ballooned so the jury is kind of out as to whether the tax cut of late 1964 worked as intended. Nobody, not one tea bagger, has been able to explain away the epic spurt in the US economy under Clinton or the drop in both unemployment and the deficet to zero. But the thing is, and I noted this as soon as the President was inaugurated in 2009 that Rush Limbaugh appeared to be a man in panic mode. I had never before seen the anger and frustration level of his show so high. He was like a cornered animal, as he is now. Animals go into attack mode when cornered. The same can be said for Organized Crime, as illustrated on today's "Days of our Lives" episode. You have heard the expression "cornered rat". A territorial animal when it encounters either man or another territorial animal will go into attack mode. So what has Rush Limbaugh to be afraid of. He opened his show this morning by loudly chirping that new unemployment claims had dropped sharply to a level not seen in at least nine months, and wondered why the media was "ignoring the story". They weren't ignoring the story because I had heard about it already. But then suddenly Rush dropped the topic as if either from one of those mental lapses I've talked about- - or perhaps someone whispered in his ear and says "You know George Bush is no longer President". At that point Rush Limbaugh realized he was helping the other side and quickly moved on. This news of the sharp drop in new unemployment claims is a story I would have picked up on regardless. It is just another in the long and growing list of bad news stories for the Republicans. Right now Mitt Romney, the darling of the economics crowd, is being ripped apart by the media for seemingly one fopah after another. Actually I feel sorry for Mitt. People say he won't talk about his work with the Church as an Elder and unpaid at that and how he has gained great respect from among his religious piers in the Church. How much in stark contrast is this to Newt's own religious credentials? Yet he cannot mention any of this because he's a Mormon. But now as I said this unemployment news is just the latest in a long train of stories that help the President. We have had record numbers for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We have had a spactacular jump in consumer confidence, and we have seen a major drop in unemployment. There are also definite indicators that our balance of trade with China and Korea are in for a major improvement in the next few months. How much bad news can the Republicans take. It is said that Victory has a hundred fathers but that Defeat is an orphan. I don't need to rely on my own words to gain notice with Dr. Levy; I can just let the host of economic figures now and to come do the talking for me. This is Christmas and we are into holiday cheer right now. People have grown tired of the steady drone of doom and gloom that comes from the mouths of the Republicans.

We have developed a major problem with the Autoritarian State right now. You feel it every time you step into an airport no matter how famous you are. Apparently Jesse the Body Ventura walked into an airport and they wanted to violate his fourth amendment rights. Ventura reminded the airport officials that he was a former government Navy Seal, and also an ex Governor of Minnisota and that perhaps he deserved more respect. Ventura also knew the law and took them to court. According to Hartman the Court refused to side with Ventura and came out with a ruling that stated, "We don't deal with Constitutional issues here". Since when does a Court not deal with Constitutional issues? Of course in Germany and other places you don't have to take off your shoes or go before a porno scanner. Europe banned these because of the radiation hazard. Sure you'll want to do profiling, but profiling can be both physical and psychological profiling. Physically sure you need Race as an indicator. But I would like to remind you once more that there IS no "Black" gene or "Arab" gene. Much less is there an Islamic gene. Police only use racial identifiers like they would use any other word such as age or height or weight because they need to use words that cover a lot of ground in a short period of time. Because a man happens to be of a certain race certainly is not constitute some scientific demographic about that race. Personally I wish they would physically profile more so that children and old ladies aren't sexually groped. Of course the Patriot Act is perhaps the number one indicator that we have moved to an Authoritarian society. But remember that this act was signed off on just after Anthrax attacks by mail of two key congressmen. Then you have the problems with the Police. Many police feel that they are judge, jury, and executioner all rolled into one. Their job is not to administer Punishment but merely to apprehend dangerous people and keep the public safe. They will tell you this, I'm sure, on the first day of Police Accadamy. They will also tell you at the Accadamy that the level of force you use is only one step above what the suspect is already using. Hence you use the ammount of Force that is necessary to apprehend the suspect and no more. So we come to an LA demonstrator who was locking arms with his comrads in an Occupy protest. And one guy decided to break ranks and unlock his arms, stand up, and say that he was ready to be taken in and would offer no resistence. The man was forced into physical constrained positions used to inflict pain, and recoiling from that pain the officers cry "resisting arrest" and administer yet more pain. They then do things like throw your face into the ground and grind it in. Or they will throw you into a pane of glass. And they then they put on the handcuffs at long last they were so tight that the man's hands turned blue, and now had nerve damage in his hands. And it's pointed out that white collar crooks often will not see so much as one night in jail. Black people seeing this massive involvement of younger mainly caucasion citizens in the protests are now nodding and saying to them "Now you know what we seasoned Blacks from the 'sixties have been going through all along and what many Black people in the ghetto face as a routine basis today just walking the street". We won't even talk about how Supreme Court rulings have whittled away at our civil liberties and constitutional rights upon arrest. I think some Presidential Candidate is going to have to begin addressing these vital issues. Many principles are worth fighting for and damn the political consequences.
