Flook Events Don't Just Occur by Accident

You know it isn’t any fun to be “dressed down” by your moral Superior the way Nicole Walker was in today’s Days of our Lives” episode, and have all those dark, dirty secrets- - all of your biggest moral flaws you thought were dead and buried (literally) - exposed to soon be seen by all.  And yet strangely those with much larger flaws than hers- - such as the Koch Brothers and Sheldon Addelson and the Tea Party right- - are utterly fearless and confident that they can continue to go on winning election after election, and all the liberals are inclined to agree with them that “basically – nothing can be done; its going to happen” so to speak.  We know that on Friday that Randy Rhodes, for one- - in the tradition of Jordan Ridgeway – will just drop off the face of the earth.  I always used to hear that “The Hollywood Left” had all of this power and influence.   The last time anything approaching liberal propaganda happened at the Academy Awards was when Al Gore accept a reward and the orchestra "cued him off the stage" in a move more prophetic than funny.   But now that they are needed the most - - “Where is it?”  Where is all of that prestige and influence to sway the minds of the Average American?   There are very few people who even speak up and as we have seen their numbers are declining all the time, often death.   I had “Ring of Fire” from April 20th on, when I think the internet was on the fritz and I couldn’t watch.  Justice Roberts knew what he was doing when he approved Obama Care as Constitutional.  The biggest thing he did was to make it an issue during the fall 2012 campaign- - one that had never been popular in any poll.  What if – President Obama could have remedied the loss of 2010 BEFORE it Happened?  What if the President had just urged congress to lay low and not to pass this thing because it was just too unpopular with the American People and there would be too much blow-back.   You see President Obama was either very stupid or very keniving if not evil.  That is – to engineer the deboccle of 2010 when it was within his power to prevent it.   Another issue tackled during this hour was this Japanese high blood pressure drug that causes symptums with Chrone’s disease with massive weight loss, diaria, and a digestive system that won’t work.  And apparently doctors kept each and every one of these patients ON this drug for ten years and the FDA did nothing.  If nothing else, it’s another reason not to touch the FDA.  But also touched on – was Dodd Frank.  According to Mike P - - there was no INTENSION of EVER USING this Bill the way we thought intended when our representatives passed this bill- - to stave off another October of 2008 crash and also to protect consumers.  But instead- -  those “Powers that Be”, (which we are to believe the President has absolutely no sway over) decided to give the Big Banks a pass and continue to do nothing- - whereas those few small banks that have this sill idea that Banks are actually for the purpose of making loans to investors- - These banks are gone after with a vengeance by the authorities.  This is beyond insane.  But most of the topics tackled on the “Ring of Fire” program are beyond insane.    Justice Roberts knows that Big Business actually WANTS Obama Care to come about because it’s windfall profits for them.  Obviously Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity would never admit this.  Instead Hannity on his TV show is too busy cozying up to Cliven Bundy who is nothing more than “a deadbeat who doesn’t pay his bills”.   The good news concerning Bundy is that the Feds can and will strip this man of everything- - all of his cattle and put tax leans on everything he owns.  It was also stated that many of the people who came to his little “gun rally” had no background in cattle ranching at all but came from places far flung just for the opportunity to take a few pot shuts with an AK 47 at Federal officials.

This is Wednesday afternoon approaching three and Randy Rhodes only has two days left on the radio.  She hasn’t dropped the vaguest hint about what she’s going to be doing- - the day or the week after she signs off for the last time.  She says she’s keeping her house in Florida, so she isn’t relocating to Costa Rica.  I didn’t know till just today that Howard was disabled.  And she made a remark about ‘I’m tired of sitting around and watching the country go to hell in a hand basket”.    I had Sean Hannity on around two thirty.  This Christian singer is not a new sensation he had on his show today.  In fact just after 9 – 11, which would be nearly thirteen years ago, this singer had a personal conversation with President Bush and the President asked him to write a song.  I don’t know how Rush Limbaugh ever knew President HW Bush so well that he was granted the privilege of spending the night in the Lincoln Bedroom.  Keep in mind this had to be 1992 or earlier, when Rush was less well known, or so we thought.  How many people who’ve been on national radio three years get asked by the President of the United States to spend a night in the Lincoln bedroom?   Of course- - Randy Rhodes knows both Al and wife Tipper Gore personally.  Sometimes people are more “well connected” than you think they are.  The Rev Gene Scott said “Not to name drop of anything but you’d be astounded at the number of Hollywood celebreties that attend my church”.   I’m going somewhere with this line of thought.  Believe it or not some people who work really hard all their lives never become famous.   We are told that the early Christians were poor and met in these underground caticombs- - and dared not even being seen in public.   And yet if you probe only slightly into their lives a whole different picture emerges.  Take Justin Martyr.   First of all he had a Roman father and a Greek mother, and he was born in Palestine as some “army brat” ambassador’s offspring, where he is privileged to travel a lot.  There is reference to all these early Christians traveling all over the known world as if it were the easiest thing to do.  We’ll get to President Obama’s strange life at a later date, but I still have question marks about “just who is this guy?”   According to Mike Papentonio and it’s pretty obvious- - Barock Obama is the “Wall Street’ candidate for President, and shares in common with a lot of Christian preachers putting on this poor boy humble act of “If I ever got elected I’d really change the world” and such.  Now about those “Catacombs”.   Isn’t it funny that they said that Marcion was excommunicated by “The Pope” in 145 AD, or that Valentinus only became a heretic because some high official in the Catholic Church wouldn’t hire him.  Someone is trying awfully hard to get you to believe that the Papicy began in the first century and this whole “underground bit’ is just PR.  So - - which is it?   Was there a Pope Lynus or Pope Clement of Rome in the first century?   Why in virtually no Christian writings is their any animosity tword Rome?   Isn’t Rome “The Enemy?”   There is ONE exception though, and that is saying that “Jesus suffered under Governor Pilate”.   If you read Justin’s writings he makes it clear that- - Pilate (a man who shortly after committed suicide) was to blame.  Isn’t it funny that the group that actually Sentenced Jesus to death – the Sanhedran, made up of Saducees- - these people are given a pass both by Justin- - and also- - Jesus much prefers to pick on the Pharisees than the Saducees.  Well in the same way that the Monica Luinsky situation was somewhat engendered by the government shutdown of late 2005 - - nobody has said what - - happened to this Sanhedren, otherwise known as Saducees.  We are told temple worship after 70 AD just - - vanished, kind of like Randy Rhodes after Friday.  I find the situation all too queer.  So you have this guy who is a “rich Jew” kind of like Donald Sterling- - - who is exposed to this “prophetic tradition” or whatever of a “Monotheist religion”, which is “The only kind he likes or finds credible”  (if he were raised in Israel this might almost make sense)  and he lives to see his homeland fight valliently for its Freedom - - and for a year or two briefly attained it- - only to see them completely crushed.  All this is going on whole he is conducting his “philosophical quest” from one school of philosophy to another.  That’s another thing.  I think a lot of these “schools” as he calls them - - are highly elite- -and people just don’t wander in off the street to join them any more they would just wander in off the street to enroll in Harvard or Princeton.

This is Wednesday May 14, 2014 and tomorrow of May 15th which is “Fast Food boycott day”.  It’s been a long anticipated day.  When you think about it’s putting ‘free market pressure” into action.  And the likelyhood of success appears decent.   Meanwhile in Vermont- - they are raising the minimum wage from $8.50 or something to $10.50 in a few years.  Vermont needs the increased wages to bolster their tax base, and it would seem that if it works for Vermont- - why wouldn’t it work everywhere else?    We had a pork roast for dinner with horrible mashed up rice, and peas and carrots.  Lisha was still sitting with us.  We had chocolate pudding for desert.   Yesterday on the news they said it only got up to 94 yesterday with a record of 98.  But I say it got up to definitely over a hun-dred.  Today someone said that the TV said it was 99 degrees and that it will be 101 tomorrow.  This blog just "ate" the second half of this paragraph and I had to re-paste it.  The other thing I said was that Janet said "If it's this hot and it's only May, what will things be like in August?"  They told us that we'd get rain on January 20th in a few weeks.  Now they are trying to tell us El Nino is on the way.  Maybe the climate change is so marked they're trying not to panic us.  The sky above is completely cloudless, as they made reference to this High over the Pacific that “just seems to have hovered there for months, and scientists have varied theories that make little sense to explain it”.  This is very curious.

Today’s posting was executed before dinner and the tone of the thing is rather bitter, because that’s how I feel about the state of affairs in America today.  I think I’d feel the same way regardless of my own personal comfort because these are issues of “moral outrage”.  There are just too many injustices in the country in the name of Koch Brother expitdiciousness.   This morning I watched “Democracy Now” when I wasn’t watching Ed Schultz or “Ring of Fire” and they talked about Internet Neutrality and what the few communications companies left are doing or want to do to us.   There is what I call the carrot and the stick principle that “saves us” a lot of the time and gives the illusion of the free market when it really isn’t.  Larry Elder has tried to invoke this saying that businesses who didn’t admit Blacks would be shunned by the general population after a while.  He’s viewing the conflict from this side of the sixties, safely tucked away in the seventies or later.  People argue that you need not join a labor union because “Other wages are rising too so you see, the free market actually works”.  But that “free market” is being “helped out” by the carrot and stick presence of the labor unions.  It’s kind of like a disease in the presence of a vaccinated population.  It’s almost as if the viruses “know” and there seems to be some “critical mass” of unvaccinated people when they know they can attack.  This same argument is made about Time-Warner and Comcast and the Internet.  They say “Why, you have only shown me four cases of internet abuse where material was surpressed and sites blocked.  Apparently one pastor was trying to download the King James Bible, but pornography went right through.  As such we have an unexpected allay in our quest by these Christian group, who shun these seemingly innocent requests to forward a little of the green stuff to “grease the skids” and insure that your message gets through quickly, kind of like mafia “insurance”.  But what is so seemingly spotty and innocent looking now, we know from history can evolve into something far more menacing and dangerous.  And we who have the foresight to see this slippery slope just starting – are sounding the alarm for Internet Neutrality.
