We Salute Randy Rhodes in her Victory To Stay on the Air

Communist China has radically altered their long standing One Child Policy.  They've had it for over a generation- - probably forty years.  Now if you are an only child, which most people of reproduction age would be, you are free to have a second child.  This ought to be a big relief for a lot of couples, and their children will be the first in a long time to know what it's like to have a sibbling.

This Bat Kid story is strange.  The Make a Wish foundation made it possible for this five year old survivor of childhood lukemia - - to have his Batman fantasy realized.  He had just undergone the final in his series of treatments for lukemia that was first diagnosed when he was but eighteen months of age.  Now in the streets of San Francisco there are special Bat Crimes committed- - and the Kid rushes in to save the day and get cheers and acolades from the attending crowds.

Randy Rhodes had good news for us.  She won’t be going off the air on December 13^th but somehow managed to get some pragmatic station manager to agree to extend her present contract for a year.  She signed the thing immediately and they E mailed the station or company’s confirmation of the deal.  She had a lot of very happy callers on the line and most of them seemed to be older women.  We need all the forces we can muster if we're going to win the fight of the 2914 elections.  The cry is going out "man your battlestations!"

Samantha of course found out about E J’s betrayal by not telling her he knew about Christine’s dastardly deed.  He is unrepentant and she stormed out of the house.  If it were me I wouldn’t come back.  I would send for my things.  Nicole would not forgive Father Eric for his lack of faith in her and the horrible things he accused her of.  I can’t blame Nicole for not forgiving him.  Her point is well made that “I don’t care if others forgive you or even that God forgives you, but you won’t get any personal absolution from me”.  I think that’s pretty much telling it like it is.  People don’t recover from something like that overnight.  People forget that forgiveness is giving you what you are not entitled to, and if you think you are entitled, you’ve kind of defeated the purpose of the thing.

President Obama's move of the other day did not get him out of trouble with Congress.  Now 28 Democrats have joined in on a Republican legal challenge to the Affordable Care Act.  This is the very thing the President was trying to Prevent.  On the network news this one Seattle student claims that his rates on his insurance policy are doubling, but the State Commmisioner needs to sign off on any insurance company reinstating an old policy.  Clearly the tea party will use this as the capstone of their argument that more radical congressional remedies are necessary.

There is an outbreak of bacterial Memengitus on the NJ campus of Princeton.  Only eight students have gotten sick so far but it's easy to spread merely by sneasing or coughing.  But they isolate the exact strain very quickly.  So all eight thousand students will be vaccinated by a European vaccine that has not yet been approved for general use here in America.  The FDA gave a special waver so it could be.  Symptums begin seven or eight days after exposure and the player gets sicker and sicker and he knows he has a real problem.  Menengitus is in inflamation of the membranes of the brain and spinal cord, and you know that has to be serious.

The ground continues to sink in a big way in Florida.  You'd have to be a fool to move there and it brings to the fore again the saying "If you believe THAT - - I've got some swampland in Florida I want to sell you".  Many old people come down to Florida to retire thinking they'll find peace.  Sink hole central is on the northern west coast of the penisula of Florida.  Sink holes are created when heavy rain washes out all the limestone out of the soil leaving cavernous holes.  When they sink, pits ninety feed in diameter and twenty feet deep are formed, devouring trees, houses, or anything else in their path.  Now some residents are endeavoring to have sink holes discovered beneath their homes filled in with massive truckloads of concrete.  Good luck!

Karmicaly speaking- - one of the following four sayings is what we regard as the Ultimate truth about Karma.  If you have read our writings through the years or attended Dr Levy's class, picking out the correct answer should be no problem.  It's a favorite saying of his from a writer- - which in one case where he and I are actually in accord on an issue.  Here are the statements.  I'm not going to tell you the answer.  At least in this posting

One thing about karma is that it goes on forever and gradually wears you down as desperation for some form of relief wells up from within your very Soul.

Life Is Motion.  Place your Trust in Movement.  As it is written, "You can't steer a parked car".

No matter how much progress you think you have made on your karma, there is a virtual Infinity of progress yet to be made, lest you feel you have somehow 'arrived".

The trouble with karma is that today's good deed may be completely undone at some time in the future when you least expect it, when an equal and opposite bad deed will cancel it out.

The great truth is that nobody can have truely good karma without being well schooled in the higher theological truths and knowledge.
