Playing the Blame Game (Pro or Con?)

This segment is brought to you by Montego cigarettes, combined with that unique blend of sea salt and sand for the perfect aroma.   This morning was a case of “playing the blame game”.  There was talk about blaming Bush for 9 – 11 and blaming Roosevelt for Pearl Harbor.  It’s more socially acceptable to blame Roosevelt for Pearl Harbor it seems.  There were never any explicit warnings of an attack but there were roomers and imuendos galore.  With Bush ant 9 – 11 there is an amazing body of evidence.  When the Cole was bombed by Bin Laden under Clinton as he was leaving office the Clinton Administration was on heightened alert.  And then there was that whole new computer database program the Clinton administration had ready to go but George Bush canceled it saying he wanted to get his own - -in the great bye and bye.  Bush thought it was almost funny that he got so many panicked CIA warnings of impending attacks by Al Qaeda.  He began getting them starting in January of 2001 and the continued all the way to August of 2001 but either Rush or Rice or Chaney would belittle them, and they would tell the CIA that Saddam Hussein was the important person to watch.  They would go so far as to say that Bin Laden was “faking evidence” himself that he’s going to attack.  One time in August of 2001 a CIA official was so bothered by the rumblinbs and signs of danger that he personally went to Crawford, Texas himself to deliver a memo himself to the President while he was on vacation.  Bush only responded “Allright, you’ve covered your ass.  Now go back to Washington DC”.   According to Hartman, Bush never again did set foot again in Washington DC till after the 9 – 11 attacks.  Of course Bush was told about the first building attack just before he went into that classroom in Seresota, Florida to read to those school children.  And then he got the ‘notification” of the second attack, and kept reading to the kids for another seven minutes.  So with all of this evidence Shawn Hannity blames Clinton for the 9 – 11 attacks.  Shawn is such a hypocrite and a pure idiot I don’t think I’m going to listen to him any more because garbage comes out of his mouth.  There is a tape of Clinton being offered Bin Laden but Clinton said “But he hasn’t committed any crimes against America and we have no basis to hold him”.  And Saudi Arabia was offered Bin Laden but he was a “hot potato” – whatever that means, and they didn’t take him either.  But they are both Wahabbiest Moslems- - and are close in beliefs.  It can be argued that the Saudis and Bin Laden are basically on the same side.  One time Clinton bombed Bin Laden’s headquarters and missed him by thirty minutes.  Another time Clinton had a chance to bomb but it would mean killing three hundred innocent civilians and he turned it down.  Hannity thought this was the wrong decision.  President Obama is the drone king and his drones have killed 2500 innocent civilians but nobody counts that stuff these days.  I’ve seen Hannity virtually make up his own facts before like on the Trayvon Martin and Ferguson cases- - and it’s dawning on me even more now the utter disregard Hannity has for truth or anything vaguely balanced or fair.  Rush and Hannity have no ratings in LA.

Fox News talked about the debates a little in that they said that students hanging around the student lounge playing fussball, don’t care how much it costs the government to send them to college.  All of the social welfare programs in the eyes of FOX news are just ‘Free Stuff’ but of course they don’t count the “free stuff” rich people get, including freedom from prosecution.  I had Ring of Fire on this morning and they still attack President Obama for being in the back pocket of Wall Street.  They maintain that all Obama knows how to do is to “make a speech”.  He’ll talk about progressive values when he’s good and in the mood- - but there are things he could do right now to put his money where his mouth is and he won’t do them.   Hillary Clinton cleaned Obama’s clock in every debate I saw between the two of them in 2008.  I don’t know what planet Stephanie was living on then.  She criticized Obama for his one qualification to be President was a speech he made at the 2004 Democratic convention- - which was by the way vacuous and basically awful.  I’ve gone back and listened to it. 

In the morning I got one glass of iced tea from Ozzie but he refilled it with grape drink.  I got that milk from Glenda and drank just over two cups of it.  Then I threw the rest of it out after rinsing out the bottle.   That lady with her radio interview was on with  slight tape delay after eleven.   Andrew left here at ten but he wasn’t yet here by eleven.  But he showed up and Glenda only had ten cigarettes out of a pack of Montego cigarettes for me.  And I was counting on forty cigarettes and a cup of coffee, so that’s quite a come down.  Now maybe Andrew will be back tomorrow with more money.  We had generic red vegetable soup for lunch and queesh Lauraine with spinach and mixed fruit for dessert.  Joe Biden now claims he’s going to make a decision whether to run in 48 hours.   Hillary Clinton continues to rise in the profile polls.  61 percent of the people who watched last week’s debate report they do not want Joe Biden to run.   Today was Will’s funeral on Days of our Lives, and Andre faced down the Brady’s and Hortons.   

[After JFK fired CIA head Allen Dulles,]  Dulles … continued to sort of set up an anti-Kennedy government in exile in his home in Georgetown. Many of the people he was meeting with, several of the people, including Howard Hunt and others, later became figures of suspicion during the House Select Committee on Assassination hearings in Washington in the 1970s. You know, most Americans don’t know that that was the last official statement, the last official report, on the Kennedy assassination, not the Warren Report back in 1964. But the Congress reopened the investigation into John Kennedy’s assassination, and they did determine he was killed as the result of a conspiracy.  So a number of the people who came up during this investigation by Congress were figures of interest who were meeting with Allen Dulles. They had no, you know, obvious reason to be meeting with a “retired” CIA official. The weekend of Kennedy’s assassination, Allen Dulles is not at home watching television like the rest of America. He’s at a remote CIA facility, two years after being pushed out of the agency by Kennedy, called The Farm, in northern Virginia, that he used when he was director of the CIA as a kind of an alternate command post. Well, he’s there while Kennedy is killed, after Kennedy is killed, when Jack Ruby then kills Lee Harvey Oswald. That whole fateful weekend, he’s hunkered down in a CIA command post. So, there are many odd circumstances like this.

Days of Our Lives fans are buzzing about the possibility of James Scott returning as EJ DiMera to reunite with his love Sami Brady. The latest spoilers for the show reveal that after receiving EJ’s letter, Sami will believe that her husband is alive and vow to find him one way or the other.  Enstarz reports that Sami Brady returned to Salem under terrible circumstances one year to the day that EJ DiMera was killed by one of Clyde Weston’s thugs. She is now planning her son Will Horton’s funeral as well as grieving for her first born son. Sami is obviously not in her right mind as she’s dealing with Will’s death, but could she be on to something?  There was a definite mystery surrounding EJ’s death. Days of Our Lives fans have always thought that EJ would return sometime in the future, and when better to do it than during the big 50th-anniversary celebration to ride off into the sunset with Sami?  As many viewers will remember, after EJ was killed his body was taken to the morgue, where Sami said a tearful goodbye to her lost love. After Sami left EJ’s sister, Kristen DiMera entered and injected his body with a mystery substance. EJ was then cremated, or so Sami believed. It would be very interesting to see James Scott reprise is role as a DiMera and return to Sami, who so obviously needs him after Will’s shocking and tragic murder at the hands of Salem’s latest serial killer, Ben Weston.  While actor James Scott has said he’s too busy to return as EJ Dimera this year, he is open to coming back to Days of Our Lives in the future. Meanwhile, the NBC soap is rumored to be hiding some information from fans in hopes of exciting and shocking them in the weeks to come.
