Just a few reminders here of what a Mitt Romney Presidency will be like. It will be one of real world class excuse making. That's all Mitt Romney did on Meet the Press today. He refuses to admit that there is even a possability that he either might have been or IS NOW wrong- on any issue. He tells us to "trust him" on the matter of Insurance companies cutting you off or refusing coverge for "pre existing conditions". One of those 'pre existing conditions" of course, is being a Woman. He has no foreign policy experiance and therefore is "unseasoned" in this area. He wants to get us into a War like Bush did, for monetary gain. He wants to raid the Social Security fund and leave retired people to the whims of the stock market. He wants vouchers that only cover 60% of medical expenses, if that. He claims he could have remained a business man but he got bored doing that. Remember he got "bored" at Bain, too, till he discovered he could make more money by putting companies deep in debt with a high assasessed valuation from the banks and pocketing the cash, and leaving the corporation with the debt. This is what George Bush did to the nation, and Mitt Romney wants to follow in his footsteps. He will be regarded by History as the WORST President we've ever had. This is all but fact. As such he will also bring shame upon the Mormon Church, which he is a Member of. Also the idea of Christianity having to embrace Mormonism is a "spiritual compromise" only a few years or so is something they Never - - Ever - - would have considered. His Presidency will be highly polarizing between rich and poor. Crime will probably go up, because Mitt will inflame it. There is a danger at least of some attempted "people's revolution" that will be bloody and costly for sure. He will crash the economy with his policies and he doesn't care, just like he didn't and still doesn't care about all the people he betrayed when he was CEO of Bain Capital. These are observations that David Gregory left out of that soft ball interview today. I wasn't going to post at all today except I was having Modem problems earlier and I want to post this to make sure everything works properly. I think the Modem just needed to reboot. The following stuff is some recent writings in Word files.
Mathews also said that the unemployment figures were bad and will hurt this president. Somebody claimed that some four hundred thousand jobs were “lost” this month. They also said that the “work force” is the - - smallest in thirty years, which makes absolutely no sense because we know that jobs have to grow by at least 150,000 just to keep the unemployment figure from going up. So someone will have to explain that one to me. CMK members - - or two of them - - were over here and told me they were routing for Syracruse over USC. They had heard I had “thrown [designation withheld] under the bus” alias Howard, and they don’t see how I could have done that. I asked Bill this afternoon about the time when Nora was briefly here how come Elena hasn’t come back to work after three months and he just said, “I guess she isn’t working here any more”. I’m really sorry to see her go, if that’s the case. [further down page] We just had chicken noodle soup with a cold cut sandwich and French fries and I didn’t wait long enough for seconds. We got an orange for desert. Leo Le Port discussed the whole idea of how Google’s encryption code cannot be “reverse engineered” even apparently when you know what other code translates as. Leo spoke at length on this subject.
[further down page] I turned on the Today show. They had the Jamaica connection with two people on the program whose families from Jamaica. One of them was a neighbor of Bob Marley, who played the drums or something. We have had our mystery diseases this summer with West Nile, and now the Hanta virus from Curry Village ion Yousemite, and now a seven year old girl came down with the bubonic plague. She got that from a camping trip when she placed her pink sweat shirt near a dead squirrel and the fleas jumped in to the sweat shirt. She is fine now. I shaved before breakfast. The clock seemed to be ticking at double time or something. Today is Grandparents day. This Sunday back in 2001 was also September ninth, and President Bush at this point in time in 2001 had stagnated in his Presidency. Nobody appeared to pay him any notice, and he had to do something about that.
I went down to
breakfast at 7:08 and the doors were soon opened. But we just sat and sat there having received
only drinks - - apple juice and milk. I
drank the milk because I needed the protein.
We did not get our oatmeal till after seven thirty, or it would have
been hot. It was getting pretty cold
because they waited till forever to serve it to us. It wasn’t until past a quarter to eight that
we began getting served the rest of our meal.
That Irwin wanted to borrow my sugar that I’d been saving in my pocket
for days, when he had his own. He wanted
to borrow my napkin when he had his own.
And he criticized the coffee when it was much better than usual. We had one of those omlet squares which was
good, and also a sausage, that was cold.
I went and smoked and when I turned on the TV for Meet the Press it was
after eight. That’s how long breakfast
had taken. Mitt Romney was on KNBC and
Paul Ryan was on KABC and both were spouting pure bullshit and pre-packaged
lines from which they never varied.
David Gregory and George Stephanophilos respectively trued to draw them
out and when they met with non-responsiveness, they moved right on to another
topic. It was kind of that way with me
and Pastor Halliday. One topic would
meet with disaster so I’d move on to so many others, which also met with
disaster- - till I finally ran out of topics.
Mitt Romney spoke a lot longer so I moved over there. Then it was the roundtable- - but by then I
was getting rather bored and drowsy.[final words in "forward" file] Yesterday I was
thinking how my level of emotional growth and development from March 1968 to
about March of 1971 was very slow. Added text for blog: Whoever served in the capacity of my "walk in" or "alter ego" during this period set a very low bar for me, so that I didn't "grow" Yes I took one full load semester and had that Computer class and Speed reading class in night school, but I held the academic bar very low for myself. I had
in a sense become more “retarded” during this period. I was still a virgin, and my academic
progress was near nil. Musically it was
an entirely different story of course because there were quantum leaps forward
there. But people don’t like to feel
stagnated even though there are worse states to be in, like under a bad
jinx. I’d trade one for the other any
day. Stagnation isn’t the worst thing in
the world because it gives you an opportunity, if not a prompting, to sit back
and think and reflect. Clearly the media
still likes to kiss Mitt Romney’s ass and bash Obama. They claim they treat then as equals- but
they always seem to favor Mitt Romney in their “explanations” rationalizations,
and rhetoric.
I made coffee and
turned on KNX 1070. I listened to the
President talk about 9 – 11 but patriotism and keeping America safe seems to
count for nothing in this election. We
had corn flakes for breakfast. We had to
wait forever for our fried egg and toast. And we didn’t get that till ten to
eight. David gave me his toast to eat
while I waited. We never got butter and
jelly. Dr. Levy showed up and I’m afraid
I was in a fowl mood partially because I was thinking “That flake hasn’t been
fired yet”. There will be no “new
psychologist” to bring some sort of fresh energy. Dr. Levy varies so wildly in arrival times.I didn’t get in the room till just about eight o
clock. There was an empty spot on the
couch waiting for me. The class averaged
around eleven people at any one time but others were coming in like Maryanne
Woods, and people like Wally and Joe departed.
Patty did an extended check in and went into detail about her employment
and her mental illness. Dr. Levy had a
page for us to go over that was printed on both sides, but he collected them
all back at the end of the class. The
them of the pages seemed to be the value of friendships, and I informed him
that relations between me and Paul are stressed out by political
disagreement. Later Dr. Levy said that
his wife is a “liberal democrat” and his 24 year old daughter listened to the
two of them disagreeing at the dinner table when she came for a visit. I was surprised when Dr. Levy called an
abrupt conclusion of the class at ten after nine as we were about to go over
the line about cell phones and facebook.
After this I turned on KTLK and listened to the CO Q 10 and Resveritrol
pitch one more time – and B 12 and D too.
My Romulan friends - - strangely saw "Howard" or at least "phase one" from late summer 1964 to early March 1968 - - - as a real person. This is the type of dialog we carried on. I asked them one question and was a bit taken off guard by the answer. I asked them "was there any change in 'Howard" after about April of 1968, and they said "Well- - - Howard has ceased to become relevent to us then - - we're concerned about earlier. However there was sure a change in YOU around that time. Something seemed to have gone out of your spirit. You just didn't have any "Fight" in you any more".
